Kinkaid will start against the Blue Jackets on Tuesday.

Kinkaid turned in a stellar performance on Sunday, stopping 40 of the 42 shots he faced en route to a 3-2 Devils victory. After a horrid stretch of starts Kinkaid has now won three in a row, and he’s also accomplished a rare feat of registering an assist in back-to-back games. He draws a challenging matchup tonight against the Blue Jackets.

Keith Kinkaid
Hutton will start against the Sharks on Tuesday.

Hutton’s last start came last Monday in Nashville, where he gave up four goals on 33 shots in a 4-3 loss to the Preds. After allowing only two goals across a four-game stretch, Hutton has come back down to earth in his last three starts, allowing eight goals on just 65 shots (.877 SV%). He draws a challenging matchup tonight against the Sharks.

Carter Hutton
Vasilevskiy will start against the Capitals on Tuesday.

Vasilevskiy had a rough go on Sunday, allowing four goals on 28 shots in the Lightning’s 4-3 loss to the Devils. It was a rare off-night in what’s been a stellar season for Vasilevskiy, who boasts a 34-12-2 record and a .927 SV% on the year. He draws a tough matchup tonight in Washington.

Andrei Vasilevskiy
Holtby is expected to start Tuesday against the Lightning.

Holtby was lit up for six goals on 33 shots in the Capitals’ 7-1 loss to the Blackhawks on Saturday. It was the third straight loss for Holtby, while backup Philipp Grubauer has logged back-to-back wins for the Caps. If he has another questionable performance tonight he could be at risk to losing more playing time to Grubauer. Unfortunately for Holtby, he’s matched up against the league’s highest-scoring team in the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Braden Holtby
Howard will start against the Predators on Tuesday.

Howard allowed four goals on 32 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Lightning on Thursday. It was a disappointing game for Howard who was fresh off logging back-to-back wins for the Red Wings. He projects to now get the majority of the starts from here on out, with goaltender Petr Mrazek being dealt to the Flyers on Monday. Howard draws a tough matchup at home tonight against the Preds.

Jimmy Howard
Andersen will start against the Panthers on Tuesday.

Andersen lost for the first time in five starts on Saturday, allowing five goals on 39 shots in a 5-3 loss to the Penguins. It was the first time Andersen gave up more than three goals in a start since January 10th, a span of 13 games. He draws a decent matchup at home tonight against the Panthers.

Frederik Andersen
Lyon will start Tuesday against the Canadiens.

Lyon entered Sunday’s game against the Rangers after Michal Neuvirth went down with a lower-body injury, making 25 saves on 26 shots en route to picking up the win for the Flyers. Despite his strong play on Sunday, the Flyers still felt it necessary to acquire Petr Mrazek from the Red Wings, though Lyon is still expected to see some starts so long as Neuvirth and Brian Elliot are both sidelined. He draws a strong matchup tonight at home against the Canadiens.

Alex Lyon
Quick will start in Chicago on Monday.

Quick impressed his last time out, stopping 33 of 35 shots en route to a 4-2 victory over the Sabres on Saturday afternoon. It snapped a three-game losing streak for Quick, who has just three wins in his last thirteen starts. He draws a decent matchup tonight against the Blackhawks.

Jonathan Quick
Forsberg will start against the Kings on Monday.

Forsberg stopped 19 of the 20 shots he faced in the Blackhawks 7-1 rout over the Capitals on Saturday. The win was Forsberg’s first in five starts and snapped an eight-game losing streak for the Hawks. He draws another challenging matchup tonight against the Kings.

Anton Forsberg
Rinne will start against the Senators on Monday.

Rinne gave up four goals on 31 shots in the Predators’ 4-3 loss to the Flames on Thursday. Rinne’s game has fallen out of form lately, but he’s still managed a 4-2 record over his last six starts despite posting just a .912 SV% in that time. He’ll have a great chance to get his game back on track tonight against the Senators.
