Price is expected to start Tuesday in Vancouver.

Price surrendered two goals on 37 shots in the Canadiens’ loss in Ottawa on Saturday. The Canadiens struggled outdoors and Price took the “L” for the fourth time in five games—posting a 3.21 GAA and .907 SV% in the process. Price doesn’t see the Canucks often, but Price has had success against them in recent years.

Carey Price
Holtby will start Tuesday in Dallas.

Holtby allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Capitals win over the Ducks on Saturday. Holtby has won three in a row and six of his last seven games while posting a 2.67 GAA and .917 SV%. The 28-year-old has won seven of his 10 road starts this season despite posting a 3.68 GAA and .890 SV%.

Braden Holtby
The Penguins have acquired Michael Leighton and a 2019 4th round pick from the Coyotes for Josh Archibald, Sean Maguire and a 2019 6th round pick.

Leighton moves to his fourth AHL team of the season as he will report to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL). Leighton has started 14 AHL games this season, allowing a combined 38 goals on 289 shots (.869 SV%).

Michael Leighton
Fleury will start Tuesday vs. the Lightning.

Fleury allowed one goal on 25 shots in the Golden Knights win over the Penguins last Thursday. Fleury got Sunday night off vs. the Panthers, so they’ll come back to him tonight vs. the Lightning. Fleury has stopped 59 of 62 shots (.952 SV%) in two starts since returning from a concussion.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Gibson will start Tuesday in New York.

Gibson allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Ducks loss in Washington on Saturday. Ryan Miller started the front-end of their back-to-back last night, so Gibson will likely go tonight in New York. The 24-year-old has gone 2-1-3 with a 2.44 GAA and .921 SV% in six starts.

John Gibson
Boeser (foot) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

It has been a crazy 48 hours for Boeser as it’s gone from looking like he’d be out for a lengthy period of time to a game-time decision tonight. Boeser is the clear offensive leader of the Canucks so they definitely want to see him in the lineup tonight. Monitor his status when the Canucks hit the ice for warmups (9:30 p.m. ET).

Brock Boeser
Nilsson was the first goalie off of the ice at the Canucks morning skate.

Nilsson stopped 18 of 19 shots after replacing Jacob Markstrom in the Canucks loss to the Flames on Sunday. Nelson has had his own struggles recently, allowing 10 combined goals on 82 shots (.878 SV%) in his last two starts. Tonight he faces a Canadiens team that has lost four of their last five (1-3-1).

Anders Nilsson
Andersen leads the Maple Leafs onto the ice for warmups.

Andersen gave up two goals on 26 shots in the Maple Leafs loss in Minnesota last Thursday. Curtis McElhinney spelled him in Detroit on Friday, so Andersen will likely start this afternoon vs. the Hurricanes. Andersen is 2-3-0 with a 2.22 GAA and .937 SV% in his last five starts and is 1-1-0 with a 5.00 GAA and .882 SV% in two starts vs. Carolina this season.

Frederik Andersen
Darling leads the Hurricanes onto the ice for warmups.

Darling stopped all 35 shots that he faced in the Hurricanes win over the Blue Jackets on Saturday. The win snapped a five-game losing streak for Darling, who will face the Maple Leafs for the third time this season—he is 1-1-0 with a 3.09 GAA and .907 SV% in the first two meetings.

Scott Darling
Hellebuyck will start Tuesday in Nashville.

Hellebuyck stopped all 24 shots that he faced in the Jets shutout win over the Blues on Sunday. December has been a bit of a rollercoaster for the 24-year-old, who has gone 4-2-1 with a 2.71 GAA and .901 SV% in seven starts this month. This will be his second start vs. the Predators this season—he gave up five goals on 29 shots in a 5-3 loss in late-November.

Connor Hellebuyck
Stalock gets the nod Tuesday in Ottawa.

Stalock allowed three goals on 45 shots in the Wild’s loss in Chicago on Sunday. Since taking over for Devan Dubnyk in the second period on December 10th, Stalock has gone 3-2-0 with a 2.10 GAA, .935 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he faces a Senators team that is turning a corner after winning two straight.

Alex Stalock
Howard is expected to start Tuesday against the Islanders.

Howard stopped 25 of 26 shots in the Red Wings win over the Maple Leafs last Friday. The win snapped a three-game losing skid for Howard, who is 2-1-2 with 2.34 GAA and .911 SV% in his last five starts. After a lengthy home stand, the Red Wings head out on the road tonight, where Howie has gone 4-3-1 with a 2.63 GAA and .921 SV% this season.
