van Riemsdyk (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.

van Riemsdyk fell awkwardly during Monday’s win over the Kings, missed Wednesday’s practice, but was on the ice for the morning skate and is officially listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s meeting with Carolina. van Riemsdyk will be replaced by Josh Leivo if he is unable to play.

James van Riemsdyk
Petrovic will be back in the Panthers’ lineup on Thursday.

Petrovic has been a healthy scratch for the last two games, but will replace MacKenzie Weegar in the lineup tonight vs. the Ducks. Petrovic has just one assist in six games, but has collected 14 hits (2.33 hits/GP).

Alex Petrovic
Murray will start Thursday vs. the Jets.

Murray allowed just one goal on 30 shots in the Penguins victory vs. the Oilers on Tuesday. Murray has ripped off six straight wins and comes into tonight’s meeting with the Jets at 3-0-1 with a 2.23 GAA and .934 SV% in four starts at PPG Paints Arena this season.

Matt Murray
Hill will be between the pipes in New York.

Hill gave up five goals on 30 shots in the Coyotes loss to Dallas last Thursday. In his first two NHL starts, Hill has given up a combined seven goals on 63 shots (.889 SV%). Tonight he will try and give the Coyotes their first win of the season as he faces a Rangers team sitting at 2.50 goals for per game so far this year.

Adin Hill
Quick will start Thursday in Montreal.

Quick surrendered three goals on 33 shots in the Kings loss in Toronto on Monday. Darcy Kuemper started on Tuesday, so they’ll come back to Quick in their third game in four nights. Quick has been really good to start 2017-18, winning five of seven starts with a 2.15 GAA and. 934 SV%—make sure he is in your lineups in Montreal.

Jonathan Quick
Rask (concussion) has been cleared to play but will backup Anton Khudobin on Thursday.

Rask has missed the last two games with a concussion that he suffered in practice, but will dress tonight vs. the Sharks. With Khudobin going tonight, you can fully expect to see Rask on Saturday vs. the Kings.

The Los Angeles Kings have sent Justin Auger to Ontario (AHL).

Auger appeared in two games with the Kings last week, but was a healthy scratch for the last two games and returns to Ontario where he has yet to collect a point in three games.

Justin Auger
The Los Angeles Kings have recalled Mike Amadio from Ontario (AHL).

Amadio, 21, was a third round pick (No.90 overall) in 2014 and has earned his first career call-up following a two-assist in five-game start to the AHL season. The Canadian-born forward had 41 points (16G / 25A) in 68 games with the Reign a season ago.

Michael Amadio
Khudobin will start Thursday vs. the Sharks.

Khudobin allowed five goals on 42 shots in the Bruins’ overtime loss to the Sabres last Saturday. Despite Tuukka Rask (concussion) being cleared to play tonight, Khudobin will make his third straight start. He has had to solid outings and one stinker, so be cautious with him vs. a solid Sharks team.

Anton Khudobin
Dubnyk will start Thursday vs. the Islanders.

Dubnyk allowed one goal on 25 shots in the Wild’s 1-0 loss to the Canucks on Tuesday. Dubnyk surprisingly has just one win in five starts, while posting a 3.25 GAA and .899 SV%. Those numbers should start to normalize and Dubnyk should start racking up the W’s soon. He has decent matchup tonight against the visiting Islanders, who are 5-3-1 through their first nine.

Devan Dubnyk
Quine (upper-body) has been removed from the injured non-roster list and is headed to Bridgeport (AHL) for a conditioning stint.

Quine has missed the first nine games of the season with an upper-body injury, so he will head to Bridgeport for a few games to get up to speed before likely returning to the Islanders. The 24-year-old had five goals and 13 assists (18 points) in 61 games with the Islanders last season.

Mitchell, 24, has registered one assist in three games with Minnesota and two assists in four games with Iowa so far this season. He is expected to draw in on the Wild’s fourth line on Thursday.

Zack Mitchell
Howard will start Thursday in Tampa Bay.

Howard made 31 saves on 32 shots in the Red Wings’ 1-0 loss in Buffalo on Tuesday. Howard has now lost four straight games, but Tuesday certainly was not his fault. Howard has a 2.54 GAA and .924 SV% across seven starts this season, but is a very risky start tonight vs. the red-hot Tampa Bay Lightning.

Jimmy Howard
Vasilevskiy gets the nod Thursday vs. the Red Wings.

Vasilevskiy stopped 31 of 32 shots in the Lightning’s 5-1 win in Carolina on Tuesday. Vasilevskiy is now riding an impressive seven-game winning streak and has posted a 1.71 GAA, .948 SV% and one shutout over that stretch. Tonight he will face the Red Wings for the second time this season—he stopped 29 of 31 shots in a 3-2 win in the first meeting.

Andrei Vasilevskiy
Reimer will start Thursday vs. the Ducks.

Reimer surrendered five goals on 37 shots in the Panthers’ 5-1 loss in Montreal on Tuesday. It was a completely different outcome than his start in Washington three days prior, but with Roberto Luongo out, they’ll go right back to Reimer tonight vs. the Ducks. Anaheim enters play averaging 3.00 goals for per game so far.

James Reimer
Andersen is expected to start Thursday vs. the Hurricanes.

Andersen allowed two goals on 38 shots in the Maple Leafs’ win over the Kings on Monday. It was a great bounce-back outing for Andersen, who has now won six of his eight starts with a 3.24 GAA and .900 SV%. Tonight he will take on a Hurricanes team that has struggled to start the season—they are 3-3-1 with just 2.43 goals for per game (27th).

Frederik Andersen
The Senators have recalled Filip Chlapik from Belleville (AHL).

Chlapik, 20, was a second round pick (No.48 overall) in 2015 and could make his NHL debut on Thursday. Chlapik has recorded three assist in his first seven games with Belleville this season. He is coming off of a season where he had 91 points (34G / 57A) in 57 games with Charlottetown (QMJHL).
