Wilson (undisclosed) will not play on Tuesday.

Wilson missed Monday’s practice with an undisclosed injury and will not play tomorrow vs. the Stars. Wilson has struggled with his new team, compiling just two assists in eight games to start the season. With Wilson out, look for Gabriel Bourque to make his season debut.

Colin Wilson
Fleury (concussion) will not return to the Golden Knights crease this week.

Fleury has been sidelined by a concussion since October 13th and will miss at least two more games this week. With Malcolm Subban suffering an injury of his own this weekend, the Golden Knights turn to the inexperienced duo of Oscar Dansk and Maxime Lagace between the pipes for at least two contests.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Halak will start Tuesday vs. the Coyotes.

Halak allowed three goals on 41 shots in the Islanders’ win in New York last Thursday. Thomas Greiss got the nod on Saturday, but they will come back to Halak tonight vs. the Coyotes. The 32-year-old has gone 2-2-0 with a 2.66 GAA and .913 SV% in four starts and one relief appearance this season and tonight he faces a winless (0-7-1) Arizona squad.

Jaroslav Halak
Varlamov will start Tuesday vs. Dallas.

Varlamov gave up four goals on 34 shots in Colorado’s loss in Nashville last Tuesday. Jonathan Bernier started on Saturday, giving Varlamov exactly one week off. After starting the season at 3-0-0, Varlamov has lost his last two starts while allowing a combined six goals on 69 shots (.913 SV%). It’s been a strong start for the veteran netminder, but he draws a tough matchup with the Stars in town tonight.

Semyon Varlamov
Ovechkin said it’s “nothing serious” after leaving Monday’s practice; expects to practice on Tuesday.

Ovechkin got tangled up at practice and limped off, but said after the session that it’s nothing serious and he expects to return to practice on Tuesday. The Capitals avoided disaster today and with them off until Thursday, expect the Russian sniper to be in the lineup in Vancouver.

Alex Ovechkin
Lehtonen will start Friday in Calgary.

Lehtonen allowed one goal on 15 shots after replacing Ben Bishop in the Stars’ loss in Colorado on Tuesday. Lehtonen has allowed seven goals on 47 shots (.851 SV%) so far this season and tonight he takes on the 5-5-0 Calgary Flames who are scoring just 2.40 goals for per game.

Kari Lehtonen
Bishop will start Thursday in Edmonton.

Bishop was pulled after allowing three goals on 17 shots in the Stars’ loss in Colorado on Tuesday. Bishop was not happy with Ken Hitchcock’s decision to yank him and will look to be better tonight in Edmonton. It was his worst start to date and comes in at 5-1-0 with a 2.38 GAA and .920 SV% in eight games.

Ben Bishop
Bishop will start Tuesday in Colorado.

Bishop surrendered three goals on 39 shots in the Stars win over the Hurricanes on Saturday. Bishop has been exactly what the Stars were hoping they got when they signed him this offseason—he has gone 5-1-0 with a 2.09 GAA and .928 SV% in seven starts this season, including a win against the Avalanche, who he will face again tonight—consider him a must-start yet again.

Ben Bishop
Smith will start Tuesday in Nashville.

Smith allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Flames loss to the Wild on Saturday. The Flames have leaned heavily on Smith to start the season and tonight he will make his ninth consecutive start. Smith has gone 3-1-0 with a 1.75 GAA and .957 SV% in four starts on the road this season. Tonight he takes on a Predators team that is 25th in scoring so far (2.63 GF/PG).

Mike Smith
Reimer will start Tuesday in Montreal.

Reimer stopped 41 of 42 shots in the Panthers’ win over the Capitals on Saturday. It was an excellent outing for Reimer, who is now the Panthers’ No.1 netminder with Roberto Luongo (thumb) on IR. He has stopped 52 of the last 54 shots that he has faced and tonight he takes on a Montreal team that is dead last in scoring (1.50 GF/PG) right now.

James Reimer
Ward will be back in the Sharks lineup on Monday.

Ward has been sitting as a healthy scratch since the second game of the season (five games) but will replace Jannik Hansen in the lineup tonight. Ward has no points in two games this season and no longer carries any fantasy value.

Joel Ward
Hansen will be a healthy scratch on Monday.

Hansen recorded his first assist of the season on Saturday, but will come out of the lineup tonight in New York. Hansen’s one-point in seven games is a big disappointment for the Sharks, so he will be replaced by Joel Ward tonight.

Jannik Hansen
Getzlaf (lower-body) will return to the Ducks lineup on Tuesday.

Getzlaf missed the last three games and five of the first seven, but will return to the lineup tomorrow. In the only two games that he has appeared in, Getzlaf has picked up two assists and four shots on goal.

Ryan Getzlaf
Condon will start Tuesday vs. the Kings.

Condon allowed one goal on 36 shots in a win in Edmonton on October 14th. Craig Anderson has started seven of eight games, but Condon will get his second start of the season tonight vs. the Kings. He has become one of the best spot-start options in the league, but will face a high-scoring Kings team—who come in on the tail-end of a back-to-back.

Mike Condon
Jones will start Monday in New York.

Jones stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the Sharks’ shutout win in New Jersey on Friday. Aaron Dell got the call on Saturday, so they’ll come back to Jones tonight in New York. After losing his first two games of the season, Jones has won three in a row while stopping 79 of 83 shots (.952 SV%). He will take on a Rangers team that has stumbled out of the game.

Martin Jones
Quick was the first goalie off of the ice at the Kings morning skate.

Quick gave up four goals on 36 shots in the Kings’ win in Columbus on Saturday. Quick has had a great start to the season, winning five of six starts while posting a 1.99 GAA, .938 SV%. and one shutout. The Kings are providing him with a lot of goal support and they will need to continue that tonight vs. a Leafs team who leads the NHL in goals.
