Andersen will start Tuesday in Washington.

Andersen gave up three goals on 34 shots in the Maple Leafs’ overtime win in Montreal on Saturday. Andersen has won four of his first five starts this season despite posting a poor 3.76 GAA and .880 SV%—thank you high-scoring offence. Tonight he will face a high-powered Capitals team who he was 1-0-1 while allowing eight goals on 64 shots (.875 SV%) against last season.

Frederik Andersen
The Predators have placed Yannick Weber (upper-body) on IR.

Weber suffered an upper-body injury vs. the Stars last Thursday and missed Saturday’s game in Chicago as a result. Anthony Bitetto will remain in the lineup on Tuesday as long as Roman Josi isn’t ready to return to the lineup. Frederick Gaudreau has been recalled to take his spot on the roster.

Yannick Weber
The Predators have recalled Frederick Gaudreau from Milwaukee (AHL).

The 24-year-old forward had a nice postseason for the Predators last season, picking up three goals in eight playoff games. Gaudreau has also had a nice start to his AHL season, registering four points (1G / 3A) in three games with the Admirals. He comes up to take Yannick Weber’s roster spot and could make his season debut on Tuesday.

Frederick Gaudreau
Neuvirth will start Tuesday vs. the Panthers.

Neuvirth allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Flyers’ loss in Los Angeles on October 5th. Brian Elliott has started four of the Flyers’ first five games, but Neuvirth will go tonight vs. the Panthers. Florida currently leads the NHL in shots on goal per game (42) and are averaging a ridiculous 4.00 goals per game.

Michal Neuvirth
Holtby will start Tuesday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Holtby allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Capitals’ win in New Jersey on Friday. Philipp Grubauer gave him a breather on Saturday, so they’ll come back to Holtby tonight in a big matchup with the Maple Leafs. Holtby has started the season 3-1-0 with a 2.47 GAA and .923 SV%, but struggled against the Maple Leafs last season—allowed seven goals on 45 shots (.844 SV%).

Braden Holtby
Howard leads the Red Wings onto the ice for warmups.

Howard allowed two goals on 35 shots in the Red Wings’ win in Arizona last Thursday. Despite a red-hot start, Petr Mrazek started two of three games last week, so Howard is expected to get the call tonight vs. Tampa Bay. Howard is 3-0-0 and ranks second in the NHL in SV% (.955) and fifth in GAA (1.62) so far.

Jimmy Howard
Point (illness) is on the ice for warmups; expected to play vs. the Red Wings.

Point missed the Lightning’s morning skate because of an illness, but he is on the ice for warmups and is expected to be in the lineup tonight. Point is off to a great start to the season, having recorded three goals and five assists (eight points) in five contests.

Brayden Point
Raanta (lower-body) remains day-to-day; will not travel to Dallas for Tuesday's game.

Raanta will miss his second straight game with a lower-body injury, leaving either Louis Domingue or Adin Hill to start against the Dallas Stars. There’s no official word on how long Raanta is expected to be sidelined so monitor his status when the Coyotes return home after their brief one-game road-trip.

Antti Raanta
Price will start Tuesday in San Jose.

Price allowed four goals on 22 shots in the Canadiens’ overtime loss to Toronto on Saturday. Price opened the season with a victory, but has now lost four consecutive starts while allowing a combined 13 goals on 86 shots (.849 SV%). Tonight he faces a Sharks team that is off to a slow start—the come in tied for 27th in the NHL in goals for (2.00 GF/PG).

Carey Price
Bobrovsky is expected to start Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Bobrovsky allowed four goals on 21 shots in the Blue Jackets’ 5-4 overtime win in Minnesota on Saturday. Bobrovsky has won his first four starts of the season while posting a 1.47 GAA and .952 SV%. Goalie Bob has been sensational to kick off the season but tonight he faces a Jets team he has historically struggled against.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Sutter (illness) missed Monday's practice; questionable for Tuesday.

Sutter is feeling a little under the weather and missed today’s practice, turning his lineup spot over the Michael Chaput. Sutter has not officially been ruled out of the lineup, so check his status on Tuesday morning.

Brandon Sutter
The Oilers have placed Leon Draisaitl (concussion) on IR.

Draisaitl missed Saturday’s game vs. Ottawa and has already been ruled out for Tuesday’s contest. Draisaitl’s move to IR is likely retroactive to October 11th, when he first missed practice. The move shouldn’t have any affect on when he returns to the lineup.

Leon Draisaitl
Jost (knee) likely to return to the Avalanche lineup on Tuesday.

Jost missed the last two games with a knee injury, but was on the ice for Monday’s practice and is expected to play tomorrow in Nashville. Jost has one goal and one assist in four games this season and three points (2G / 1A) in 10 career NHL contests.

Tyson Jost
Draisaitl (concussion) will miss his second straight game on Tuesday.

Draisaitl missed practice on Monday and will miss his second game in a row on Tuesday. The Oilers’ star forward remains day-to-day and the Oilers will re-evaluate him before deciding whether or not he will travel with the team on their upcoming road-trip.
