Allen will start Saturday in Tampa Bay.

Allen allowed five goals on 38 shots in the Blues’ loss in Florida on Thursday. After winning his first three starts of the season, Allen struggled in Florida, but will go again tonight in Tampa Bay. Allen has posted a 3.17 GAA and .915 SV% in his four outings to start 2017-18.

Jake Allen
Bishop will start Saturday vs. the Avalanche.

Bishop gave up three goals on 30 shots in the Stars’ loss in Nashville on Thursday. Bishop has played very well to start his Dallas career, stopping 69 of the 74 shots (.932 SV%) he has faced in two and a half games. Tonight he will take on a Colorado team that is off to a great start as well—however they come in on the tail-end of a back-to-back.

Ben Bishop
Price will start Saturday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Price allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Canadiens’ loss to Chicago on Tuesday. After opening the season with a win, Price has dropped his last three starts while allowing a combined nine goals on 64 shots (.859 SV%). Things won’t get any easier tonight as the Canadiens welcome the high-scoring Maple Leafs to town.

Carey Price
Vasilevskiy was the first goalie off of the ice at the Lightning morning skate.

Vasilevskiy gave up four goals on 40 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Penguins on Thursday. Vasilevskiy’s numbers don’t say it, but he has arguably been the Lightning’s best player thus far. Tonight he makes his fifth straight start and he comes in at 3-1-0 with a 3.74 GAA and .900 SV%.

Andrei Vasilevskiy
Dubnyk will start Saturday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Dubnyk gave up two goals on 38 shots in the Wild’s win in Chicago on Thursday. It was a great game for Dubnyk but a rough one for the Wild, who lost Charlie Coyle, Nino Niederreiter and Marcus Foligno all in the same contest. The banged up Wild team will face a Columbus team that is averaging 2.75 goals per game.

Devan Dubnyk
Hellebuyck will start Saturday vs. the Hurricanes.

Hellebuyck allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Jets’ win in Vancouver on Thursday. Hellebuyck has won each of his first two starts while turning aside 67 of 71 shots (.944 SV%). Tonight he will take on a quality Hurricanes team that has gotten off to a slow-start to 2017-18.

Connor Hellebuyck
Murray gets the nod vs. Florida on Saturday.

Murray allowed two goals on 22 shots in the Penguins win in Washington on Wednesday. Murray was given Thursday night off, so he’ll return to the crease tonight vs. the Panthers. Murray struggled in his first two starts of the season, but has won his last two starts while stopped 46 of 48 shots (.958 SV%).

Matt Murray
Elliott will start Saturday vs. the Capitals.

Elliott allowed six goals on 31 shots in the Flyers’ 6-5 loss in Nashville on Tuesday. Despite the rough outing, Philadelphia will come back to Elliott tonight vs. the Capitals. Through his first three starts, the veteran has gone 2-1-0 with a 3.67 GAA and .876 SV%. Tonight he faces a Capitals team that is 3-1-1 with 4.00 goals for per game.

Brian Elliott
Mason will start Saturday vs. the Hurricanes.

Mason surrendered six goals on 45 shots in the Jets’ loss in Calgary last Saturday. Connor Hellebuyck started the last two games, but Mason will start tonight vs. Carolina. His first two starts with the Jets have been terrible—Mason comes in having allowed a combined 11 goals on 65 shots (.831 SV%).

Steve Mason
Domingue is the Coyotes projected starter for Saturday.

Domingue allowed three goals on 23 shots after replacing an injured Antti Raanta in the Coyotes loss to Detroit on Thursday. With Raanta day-to-day, look for Domingue to start tonight vs. the Bruins. Domingue has allowed 10 goals on 87 shots (.885 SV%) in one start and two relief appearances this season.

Louis Domingue
Condon will make his season debut in Edmonton on Saturday.

Craig Anderson started the first four games of the season, including last night, so Condon will make his season debut tonight in Edmonton. During a tough off-the-ice season for Anderson last year, Condon stepped up in a big way—posting a 2.48 GAA, .914 SV% and five shutouts, but is a risky spot-start option tonight vs. Connor McDavid.

Mike Condon
Khudobin will make his first start of the season on Saturday.

Khudobin stopped all nine shots that he faced after replacing Tuukka Rask in the Bruins’ loss in Colorado on Wednesday. Tonight he will give Rask his first breather of the season as he starts the front-end of the Bruins’ weekend back-to-back. Khudobin was 7-6-1 with a 2.64 GAA and .904 SV% last season.
