Eberle (undisclosed) is questionable for this weekend's games after missing Friday's practice.

Eberle was banged up in the Islanders practice on Thursday and missed Friday’s session as a result. After the skate, Eberle told reporters that he should be OK for the weekend games but monitor his status during today’s morning skate to be sure.

Jordan Eberle
Niederreiter will missed at least three weeks with a high left ankle sprain.

Despite taking Zach Parise’s spot in the top-6 to start the season, Niederreiter had no points in the first three games of the season before getting hurt on Thursday. This is a massive loss for the Wild, who also lost Charlie Coyle (right fibula fracture) on Thursday night.

Nino Niederreiter
Coyle will miss 6-8 weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a right fibula fracture.

With Coyle expected to miss at least a month and a half, the Wild have placed him on LTIR which opens up a roster spot and gives them some cap relief. This is a huge loss for the Wild as Coyle already had two assists in three games and is coming off of a season in which he recorded 56 points (18G / 38A) in 82 games.

Charlie Coyle
Mrazek will start Friday in Vegas.

Mrazek allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Red Wings loss in Dallas on Tuesday. With Jimmy Howard starting last night, Mrazek will get his second start of the week tonight in Vegas. The Golden Knights have surprisingly bust out of the gate this season but Mrazek will look to snap their bid for a 4-0 start.

Petr Mrazek
Fleury will start Friday vs. the Red Wings.

Fleury stopped 31 of 33 shots in the Golden Knights’ win over the Coyotes on Tuesday. Fleury has been outstanding to start his Golden Knights career, winning each of his first three starts while stopping 103 of 107 pucks (.963 SV%). He will look to extend his winning streak to four tonight as he takes on a Red Wings team that is subpar and coming in on a back-to-back.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Greiss will start Saturday in San Jose.

Greiss allowed two goals on 35 shots in the Islanders loss to the Blues on Monday. Greiss has started two of the first four games of this season, but is still looking for his first win after dropping his first two starts while allowing a combined seven goals on 61 shots (.885 SV%). Tonight he’ll take on a Sharks team that has gotten off to a sluggish start—averaging just 2.33 goals per game so far.

Thomas Greiss
Ritchie (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Friday.

Ritchie has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury, but he was on the ice for the Ducks’ morning skate and will try to give it a go in warmups tonight. There’s no word as to who Ritchie is expected to play with, but it’s a good sign that he might be back in the lineup.

Nick Ritchie
Anderson will start Friday in Calgary.

Anderson allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Senators’ win in Vancouver on Tuesday. After losing his first two starts of the season, Anderson finally got into the win column and will make his fourth straight start tonight. Anderson has posted a 2.15 GAA and .919 SV% so far and tonight he faces a Flames team who have won three in a row.

Craig Anderson
Gibson will start Friday in Colorado.

Gibson allowed two goals on 41 shots in the Ducks’ win over the Islanders on Wednesday. Gibson was really busy in this one, but half firm and earned his second victory in four starts to begin the season. Gibson has a 2.79 GAA and .920 SV% so far and tonight he faces an Avalanche team that has gotten off to a surprisingly good start.

John Gibson
Raanta (lower-body) is questionable for Saturday’s game vs. the Bruins.

Raanta left Thursday’s game with a lower-body injury after stopping all nine shots that he faced in the first period. There is no word how serious Raanta’s injury is, but they recalled Marek Langhamer this afternoon, which suggests that Raanta will miss at least one game.

The Coyotes have sent Emerson Etem to Tucson (AHL).

Etem has not appeared in an NHL game this season, but returns to Tucson where he has one goal and one assist in one game this season. He was sent to the AHL to create a roster spot for the Coyotes to recall Marek Langhamer after an injury to Antti Raanta on Thursday.

The Coyotes have recalled Marek Langhamer from Tucson (AHL).

Antti Raanta left Thursday’s game with a lower-body injury and was unable to return. Langhamer’s call-up suggests that Raanta will miss at least Saturday’s game vs. Boston. Look for Langhamer, who was 8-11-0 with a 3.36 GAA and .902 SV% with Tucson last year, to backup Louis Domingue while Raanta is sidelined.

Marek Langhamer
Jost (knee) has been ruled out of Friday’s game vs. Anaheim.

Jost suffered a knee injury on Wednesday and will be held out the lineup tonight vs. the Ducks. Jost was not on the ice for the morning skate, so he’s listed as day-to-day for now. Matt Nieto will draw into the lineup to take Jost’s spot in the lineup.
