Talbot was yanked after he allowed four goals on 14 shots in the Oilers’ loss to the Maple Leafs on Tuesday. Talbot has lost his last three starts while giving up eight goals on 78 shots (.897 SV%). He’ll start in Winnipeg vs. a Jets team that has won their last two—Talbot is 6-3-2 with a 2.51 GAA and .919 SV% on the road.

Schneider will start Thursday in Chicago.

Schneider allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Devils’ loss in Winnipeg on Tuesday. Schneider has lost four of his last five starts while posting an un-Schneider-like 3.58 GAA and .874 SV%. He will be in tough tonight against a Blackhawks team that is 11th in the NHL in scoring with 2.75 goals per game.

Ward allowed three goals on 21 shots in the Hurricanes’ loss in New York on Tuesday. It was a tough outing against a good New York team, but Ward has played very well as of late and will be back in net tonight in Boston.
