Hiller surrendered three goals on 24 shots in the Flames loss in Toronto on March 21st. He has a brutal 3.39 GAA and .883 SV% on the season and draws a terrible matchup tonight. In his first two starts vs. the Ducks, he has gone 0-1-0 with a 6.57(!!!) GAA and .820 SV%.

Smith made 34 saves on 35 shots in the Coyotes win over the Flyers last Saturday. Smith and Louis Dominuge have been splitting starts and tonight he will start in Dallas. Since returning to the Coyotes’ crease in early March, Smith has gone 4-1-0 with a 1.20 GAA, .965 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he faces a Stars team that has won five of their last six.

Oshie was considered to be taking maintenance day this morning, but is listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s game in Philadelphia. Oshie returned to the lineup on Monday after missing the two previous games with an illness. There is no word whether or not this is related to that illness.

Gibson will start Wednesday vs. the Flames.

Gibson turned aside 27 of 28 shots in the Ducks win in Edmonton on Monday. Gibson has gone 3-3-1 wit ha 2.09 GAA and .920 SV% in March. Tonight he will make his fourth start against Calgary—he is a perfect 3-0-0 with a 1.06 GAA and .948 SV% in the first three meetings.

Holtby expected to start Wednesday in Philadelphia.

Holtby allowed one goal on 22 shots in the Capitals win over the Blue Jackets on Monday. He has won three in a row and five of his last six starts while posting a 1.71 GAA and .932 SV%. Tonight he makes his fourth start vs. the Flyers—the 26-year-old has gone 2-0-1 with a 2.66 GAA and .908 SV% in the firs three meetings.

Hutchinson will start Wednesday vs. the Senators.

Hutchinson allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Jets loss in Buffalo on Saturday. Hutchinson has gone 1-2-2 wit ha 2.96 GAA and .901 SV% in five starts this month. Hutchinson will face a Senators team that has lost three in a row—the 26-year-old stopped 29 of 31 shots in a 3-2 shootout loss in his first start against Ottawa.

The Canadiens will put Ben Scrivens on waivers.

The Canadiens signed Charlie Lindgren to a two-year contract to finish the season out with the Canadiens. With his signing, Montreal had to make room on the roster, so they have placed Ben Scrivens on waivers. Scrivens was 5-8-0 with a 3.07 GAA and .906 SV% in 15 games since being acquired from Edmonton.

Mason made 26 saves on 28 shots in the Flyers win over the Jets on Monday. Mason will wrap up March with a start against the Capitals—he has gone 7-2-2 with a 1.97 GAA and .929 SV% in 11 starts this month. He has struggled against Washington, going 0-2-0 with a 4.05 GAA and .871 SV% this season.

The Jets have recalled Chase De Leo from Manitoba (AHL) on an emergency basis.

De Leo, 20, appeared in his first two career NHL games with the Jets last week and is back with them and could dress in Wednesday’s game. De Leo has 33 points (16G / 17A) in 66 games with Manitoba.

The Bruins have recalled Seth Griffith from Providence (AHL) on an emergency basis.

Griffith, 23, has 11 points (6G / 5A) in 32 career NHL games with the Bruins. Griffith leads Providence in scoring with 67 points (22G / 45A). He has one point in two games with the Bruins this season.
