With Vincent Trocheck out for roughly the next weeks, Grimaldi has been recalled to likely finish the season with the Panthers. Grimaldi has one goal and one assist in 14 games with Florida and 33 points (16G / 17A) in 52 games with the Pirates.
Trocheck took a shot off of the ankle during Tuesday’s loss and is expected to miss the rest of the regular season. Trocheck, who is tied with for the Panthers-lead in goals with 25, could end up missing some playoff time as well. Look for Nick Bjugstad to move up to the second line with Trocheck out.

With Corey Crawford still sidelined, Darling will make his seventh consecutive start tonight in Minnesota. Darling is 0-1-1 with a 3.36 GAA and .890 SV% in two starts and one relief appearance vs. the Wild.
Schneider has been sidelined by a knee injury since March 4th, but it looks like he could return to the crease on Thursday. Scott Wedgewood’s emergence has eased Schneider’s absence.
