Schneider will start Friday in Dallas.

Schneider allowed two goals on 18 shots in the Devils loss to the Hurricanes on Tuesday. Schneider has lost three in a row while posting a 3.90 GAA and .862 SV%. In his first start against the Stars, Schneider stopped 29 of 31 shots in the Devils 3-2 OT win back in January. Dallas has lost seven of their last eight games.

Kinkaid will start Thursday in Nashville.

Kinkaid allowed there goals on 13 shots after replacing Cory Schneider in the Devils loss in Columbus on February 25th. Kinkaid has gone 1-3-1 with a 3.07 GAA and .896 SV% on the road this season. Kinkaid played well in his first start against the Predators, but Nashville comes in having won five in a row while averaging 3.60 goals per game.

Pickard will start Thursday vs. the Panthers.

Pickard stopped 15 of 16 shots after replacing an ineffective Semyon Varlamov in Colorado’s loss to the Wild on Tuesday. Pickard has landed the Avalanche backup gig with a 5-4-1 record, 2.62 GAA, .918 SV% and two shutouts. He has a tough matchup with the Atlantic Division leading Panthers in town—Florida is 1-1-1 to start their five-game road trip.

Gibson gets the nod vs. Montreal on Wednesday.

Gibson allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Ducks win over the Kings on Sunday. Gibson has won three in a row while posting a 2.00 GAA and .919 SV%. Along with Frederik Andersen, the Ducks possess a very strong duo in goal, but it will be Gibson who faces the Canadiens tonight. Gibson is 10-5-1 with a 1.91 GAA and .926 SV% at the Honda Center this season.

The Red Wings have sent Jared Coreau to Grand Rapids (AHL).

Coreau was recalled to backup Jimmy Howard on Monday, but Petr Mrazek is ready to return to the Red Wings’ crease tonight. Coreau returns to Grand Rapids where he has gone 26-10-2 with a 2.27 GAA and .928 SV% this season.

Fleury will start Thursday vs. the Rangers.

Fleury stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Penguins shutout win over the Coyotes on Monday. Fleury has won four of his last five starts while posting a 2.40 GAA and .921 SV%. Who knows if they will stick to their plan, but Fleury is expected to start three of the next five starts. Fleury lost his first start vs. the Rangers and tonight they come in having won five of the last six.

Hammond will likely start Thursday vs. Tampa Bay.

Hammond stopped all 17 shots that he faced after replacing the injured Craig Anderson in the Senators shootout loss to the Blues on Tuesday. Hammond went on a crazy run at this time last season, but that seems unlikely this year. The 28-year-old has gone 3-6-3 with a 2.98 GAA and .903 SV% this season and draws a rough matchup tonight with the Lightning in town—Tampa Bay has won seven straight.

Grubauer starts Saturday in Boston.

Grubauer allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Capitals win over the Maple Leafs on Wednesday. It was predetermined that Grubauer would start two games this week, so tonight he takes on the Bruins in Boston. The 24-year-old has gone 3-2-0 with a 2.23 GAA and .922 SV% in five starts and two relief appearances on the road this season.

Holtby will start Friday vs. the Rangers.

Holtby allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Capitals win over the Penguins on Tuesday. Holtby has won five of his last seven starts and tonight will mark his fifth start of the season against the Rangers—he has gone 3-1-0 with a 3.58 GAA and .877 SV% in the first four meetings. New York comes in on a back-to-back, they lost 4-1 to the Penguins last night.

Mrazek starts Wednesday vs. the Blackhawks.

Mrazek surrendered three goals on 27 shots in the Red Wings’ 5-3 win over the Avalanche at Coors Field on Saturday. Mrazek missed Monday’s game with a “tender groin” but will return to the crease tonight for his first career start vs. the Blackhawks. Mrazek has won two in a row and is 11-5-5 with a 2.02 GAA and .925 SV% at Joe Louis Arena this season.

Rinne stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the Predators shutout win over the Blues on Saturday. Rinne has won three consecutive starts while posting a 0.65 GAA and .979 SV%. Tonight he faces a Stars team on the tail-end of a back-to-back—Rinne allowed five goals on 32 shots in a 5-1 loss in their first meeting.

Rask allowed four goals on 30 shots in the Bruins loss to the Lightning on Sunday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Rask, who will go tonight vs. the Flames. Rask, who is 10-13-2 with a 3.03 GAA and .901 SV% in 24 starts on home ice—the Flames come in having lost five in a row and eight of their last nine.
