The Jets have recalled J.C Lipon from Manitoba (AHL).

Lipon, 22, was a third pick (91st overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft. The right winger has registered 17 points (8G / 9A) in 30 games with Manitoba this season. He could make his NHL debut on Monday vs. the Avalanche.

The Jets have recalled Patrice Cormier from Manitoba (AHL).

Cormier didn’t record a point in his only NHL game this season and has just five points (1G / 4A) in 51 career games. In his time with Manitoba, Cormier had 12 points (6G / 6A) in 34 games.

The Jets have placed Drew Stafford (undisclosed) on IR.

Stafford, who missed Friday’s game in Minnesota was placed on IR on Sunday to create a roster spot for the Jets to call up Patrice Cormier from Manitoba (AHL). Stafford will miss at least the next two games.

Sedin (upper-body) left Sunday's game and did not return; listed as day-to-day.

Sedin was forced to leave Sunday’s game after being hit from behind by Mikhail Grabovski. Sedin spoke to the media following the game and said that it isn’t going to be a week-to-week thing, but he is questionable for Tuesday’s game in New York.

Montoya will likely start Monday vs. the Oilers.

Montoya allowed two goals on 21 shots in the Panthers loss in Calgary on Wednesday. After an extended winning streak, the Panthers have now dropped three straight and will try to stop the skid on a back-to-back vs. Edmonton. Montoya faced the Oilers just over a week ago—he stopped 24 of 25 shots in a 2-1 win.

Neuvirth gets the nod vs. the Red Wings.

Neuvirth allowed three goals on 24 shots in the Flyers win over the Canadiens on January 5th. Steve Mason has started the last four games, including yesterday’s loss to the Rangers, so look for Neuvirth to go tonight in Detroit. Neuvirth has had a strong season in the Flyers crease, but he is sub .500 on the road—3-4-1, 2.40 GAA and .928 SV%.

Bishop will starts Sunday vs. the Panthers.

Bishop stopped all 21 shots that he faced in the Lightning’s shutout win over the Avalanche on Tuesday. Bishop has won two in a row while allowing just two goals on 47 shots (.957 SV%). Tonight he will face a the Panthers on home ice—Bishop has gone 9-7-2 with a 2.05 GAA and .924 SV% on home ice.

Holtby will start in goal for the Capitals.

Holtby was pulled after he allowed three goals on 13 shots in the Capitals loss to the Sabres last night. Because he was yanked early, he will go again tonight vs. the Rangers. Holtby is 2-1-0 with a 3.67 GAA and .869 SV% vs. the Rangers this season.

Hiller starts Tuesday in New Jersey.

Hiller allowed one goal on 37 shots in the Flames’ 2-1 shootout loss in Edmonton on Saturday. Since returning to the crease on January 13th, Hiller has stopped 51 of 52 shots (.981 SV%) and has earned a third consecutive start tonight in New Jersey. The Devils come into play having lost five of seven while averaging just 1.14 goals per game over that span.

Halak starts Sunday vs. the Canucks.

Halak allowed one goal on 35 shots in the Islanders win over the Rangers on Thursday. It was a big outing for Halak, who struggled in his previous two starts. This afternoon, Halak will face the Canucks at Barclays Center—he is 8-4-0 with a 2.19 GAA and .921 SV% on home ice and the Canucks are 3-5-3 in their last 11 road games.

Fleury starts Sunday vs. the Hurricanes.

Fleury allowed five goals on 25 shots in the Penguins loss in Tampa Bay on Friday. Fleury is now 2-1-3 with a 2.61 GAA and .914 SV% since returning from a concussion. One of those extra time losses came against the Hurricanes, who he will face again this afternoon. Fleury is 8-5-2 with a 2.52 GAA and .918 SV% on home ice this year.
