Quick was the first goalie off of the ice at the Kings morning skate.

Quick stopped 29 of 30 shots in the Kings win over the Flyers on Saturday. Jhonas Enroth started on Monday to give Quick a breather after starting four games in six nights, but he will get back in net tonight vs. the visiting Maple Leafs. Quick is a must-start having won his last five games and facing a Toronto team that played last night.

Jonathan Quick
Bernier starts Saturday in San Jose.

Bernier stopped all 39 shots that he faced in the Maple Leafs shutout win in Anaheim on Wednesday. That’s three straight wins for Bernier, who has posted 0.97 GAA and .975 SV% over that span. The Maple Leafs goaltending has been really strong as of late and Bernier should be expected to have a strong outing against a struggling Sharks squad.

Jonathan Bernier
Reimer starts Thursday in Los Angeles.

Reimer stopped all six shots that he faced after replacing Jonathan Bernier in the Leafs loss to the Islanders on December 29th. Reimer hasn’t started a game since December 3rd, but will be back in net tonight vs. the Kings. Reimer is an impressive 4-2-1 with a 1.53 GAA and .948 SV% on the road this season.

James Reimer
Mrazek starts Thursday in San Jose.

Mrazek stopped all 22 shots in the Red Wings 1-0 shutout win over the Devils on Monday. Mrazek has now won back-to-back games and will make his fourth straight start as the Red Wings continue their road trip in San Jose. The Sharks have lost four of their last six and Mrazek is a strong 7-4-0 with a 2.19 GAA and .933 SV% on the road.

Petr Mrazek
Carter (upper-body) is expected to return to the Kings lineup on Thursday.

Carter has missed the last five games with an upper-body injury, but he has taken part in line rushes the last two days, which suggests that he will return tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. Carter has 11 goals and 17 assists (28 points) in 34 games this season.

Jeff Carter
Mrazek is on the starter's crease this morning.

Petr Mrazek
Yakupov (ankle) is expected to return to the Oilers’ lineup after the All Star break; will travel with the team next week.

Yakupov has been out since November 25th and is expected to miss just over three more weeks with a high ankle sprain. Connor McDavid should be completely up to speed by the time Yakupov gets back, which should make it easier for Yak to slide back into the lineup.

Nail Yakupov
Miller (muscle cramps) is expected to be good-to-go for Saturday’s game vs. Tampa Bay.

Miller missed the last six games with muscle cramps, but is set to dress on Saturday. He said he plans to practice on Friday and backup Jacob Markstrom on Saturday, so look for Markstrom to start vs. the Lightning and maybe Miller next week.

The Canucks have reassigned Joe Cannata to Utica (AHL).

Cannata was serving as Jacob Markstrom’s backup while Ryan Miller was injured, but he did not get into a game. Cannata returns to Utica, where he is 9-5-2 with a 2.49 GAA and .907 SV% this season.

Joe Cannata
Hanzal (lower-body) will be back in the Coyotes lineup on Thursday.

Hanzal has missed 11 out of the last 12 games, but will play on Thursday in Calgary. To make room for Hanzal to be activated from IR, Laurent Dauphin was assigned to the AHL. Hanzal has 20 points (5G / 15A) in 26 games this sessions.

Martin Hanzal
Jones will start Thursday vs. the Red Wings.

Jones allowed three goals on 20 shots in the Sharks loss to the Jets on Saturday. Jones has lost three of his last five starts while posting a 3.63 GAA and .871 SV%. Jones ranks ninth in the NHL in Wins (16) but second in losses (12), 26th in GAA (2.52) and 28th in SV% (.910). He has struggled recently and tonight he faces the NHL’s 11th ranked team.

Martin Jones

Alex Stalock

Mason allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Flyers loss in San Jose on December 30th. Mason has lost two games in a row while allowing a combined eight goals on 70 shots (.886 SV%).
