Niemi allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Stars loss in St. Louis last Saturday. Kari Lehtonen started the last two games, but it looks like Niemi will start tonight in Montreal. Niemi has gone 2-1-2 with a 2.14 GAA and .912 SV% in December and tonight would be his 10 start on home ice—he has gone 8-2-0 with a 2.37 GAA and .912 SV% at American Airlines Center this season.
Despite Jonathan Quick being the first goalie off of the ice at the morning skate, Enroth will get the nod tonight in Toronto. Enroth allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Kings loss to the Sabres last Saturday. Enroth has posted a 1.31 GAA and .957 SV% on the season and makes for a nice spot-start tonight vs. the Maple Leafs.
Andersen allowed one goal on six shots after replacing John Gibson in the Ducks loss to Carolina on December 11th. Tonight will be Andersen’s first start since November 21st after missing time due to illness. Andersen is 4-7-4 with a 2.55 GAA and .913 SV% on the season and tonight he will start in New Jersey—he comes in at 1-6-1 with a 2.85 GAA and .907 SV% on the road.
Murray, 21, was a third round pick (83rd overall) in 2012 and has been excellent in the AHL this season. He has gone 12-4-0 with a 1.84 GAA and .938 SV% with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL). Tonight he will make his NHL debut against a Hurricanes team that ranks 24th in the NHL in scoring (2.41 goals per game).

He has turned things around in a big way and he should make for a good start tonight vs. an Oilers team that has lost two in a row following a six-game winning streak.
