Laine missed Sunday’s contest with an illness, but will be back in New Jersey. Laine has exceeded expectations during his rookie campaign, scoring 34 goals with 27 assists (61 points) in 67 games.
Byfuglien has missed the last two games with an undisclosed injury, but he will draw back into the lineup tonight vs. the Devils. Byfuglien will skate with Julian Melchiori and comes in with 12 goals and 36 assists (48 points) in 74 games this season.
Smith is dealing with an illness, so his status for tonight's game is in doubt. The Senators are expected to go with 11 forwards and seven defensemen if Smith can't go in Philadelphia.
Fucale, 21, has been recalled to serve as Carey Price’s backup with Al Montoya (lower-body) unavailable. Fucalle has gone 0-2-0 with a 3.56 GAA and .887 SV% in two games with St. John’s (AHL) and 25-12-2 with a 3.17 GAA and .898 SV% with Brampton.
Stalberg will miss his second straight game with an upper-body injury and remains day-to-day. Monitor Stalberg’s status leading up to Thursday’s game in Minnesota.
Merrill played as a seventh defenseman with Joseph Blandisi out on Sunday, but with Blandisi returning from an illness, Merrill will serve as a healthy scratch vs. the Jets.
Cammalleri has been out since March 2nd, but is nearing a return to the Devils’ lineup. Monitor Cammalleri’s status as the week progresses.
Blandisi missed Sunday’s game vs. the Stars, but will re-enter the lineup tonight vs. the Jets. Blandisi comes in with three goals and six assists (nine points) in 22 games this season.
Schroeder was in the lineup on Sunday, but will come back out for Chris Stewart tonight. Schroeder has not recorded a point in his last seven games.
Stewart was a healthy scratch on Sunday, but will replace Jordan Schroeder in the lineup tonight vs. Washington. Stewart has 13 goals and six assists (19 points) in 74 games this season, but has only scored twice in his last 25 games.
Andersen took part in Monday’s practice and skated this morning as well, but he will not dress tonight with Curtis McElhinney starting. Andersen did not rule out a potential return to the crease on Thursday.
Hellebuyck allowed five goals on 36 shots in the Jets’ loss in Los Angeles last Thursday. Michael Hutchinson got the last two games, but Hellebuyck will go tonight in New Jersey. In his last seven starts, Hellebuyck has just one win and a terrible 4.06 GAA and .863 SV%.
Reimer was pulled after he allowed four goals on 22 shots in the Panthers’ loss in Buffalo last night. Pulling him was likely a way to keep Reimer a little more fresh to start a key game tonight in Toronto. Reimer has gone 4-7-1 with a 2.85 GAA and .914 SV% in March—one of those wins came vs. Toronto a few weeks ago, Reimer stopped 28 shots in a 7-2 win.
Miller has taken some big strides this season, but has not recorded a point in his last eight games and played just 11:50 TOI on Saturday. Miller will be replaced by J-M Liles.
Liles has not been in the lineup since February 26th, but will replace Colin Miller in the lineup tonight vs. Nashville. The 36-year-old blueline has five assists in 31 games this season.
Krejci missed Monday’s practice and today’s morning skate, but he remains a possibility to play tonight vs. Nashville. Matt Beleskey is expected to be in the lineup in Krejci can’t go, but monitor his status when the Bruins hit the ice for warmups tonight.

Dubnyk allowed three goals on 19 shots in the Wild’s overtime loss to the Red Wings on Sunday. A tough month continues for Dubnyk, who is now 3-8-1 with a 2.76 GAA and .898 SV% in March. Things don’t get any easier with the Capitals visiting tonight—they pushed four past him on 40 shots in a 4-2 Washington win two weeks ago.
Price allowed one goal on 32 shots in the Canadiens’ win over the Senators on Saturday. Al Montoya was expected to start tonight, but he suffered a lower-body injury in the morning skate, so Price will go tonight vs. Dallas. Price is an impressive 7-2-0 with a 1.65 GAA and .939 SV% in March.
