The Canucks have recalled Andrey Pedan from Utica (AHL).

Pedan, 22, was a third round pick (63 rd overall) of the Islanders in 2011. He has seven points (1G / 6A) in 15 games with Utica this season. With Ben Hutton out for at least two weeks, Pedan will serve as the Canucks’ seventh defenseman and could make his NHL debut sometime in the near future.

Andrey Pedan
Anderson starts Tuesday in Dallas.

Anderson stopped all 36 shots that he faced in the Senators’ 4-0 shutout win over the Flyers on Saturday. Anderson has now posted back-to-back shutouts, stopping a combined 61 shots. On Tuesday, he will have a difficult time extending that streak to three when he takes on the NHL’s second highest scoring team, Dallas, who is averaging 3.52 goals per game.

Craig Anderson
Pavelec will miss 6-10 weeks with a sprained knee.

Pavelec, who was placed on IR this morning, is expected to be out through December. There was no concrete timetable given, but he will miss at least the entire month of December and could be out through January as well. With Pavelec out, the Jets will turn to Michael Hutchinson and Connor Hellebuyck as their goaltending duo.

Ondrej Pavelec
Allen starts Monday in Buffalo.

Allen allowed four goals on 32 shots in the Blues OT loss to Detroit on Saturday. Allen has started eight of 10 games in November, posting a 5-2-1 record, 2.09 GAA and .931 SV% in the process. Tonight will be his 15th start of the season and it comes with a great matchup in Buffalo. He stopped 32 of 34 shots in a 3-2 shootout win over Buffalo last Thursday.

Jake Allen
Wennberg (lower-body) returned to practice on Monday.

Wennberg has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury but returned to practice this afternoon. Wennberg was not given a timetable when he got hurt , but his return to practice this morning suggests that he could be back later this week.

Alex Wennberg
Dubinsky (elbow) returned to practice on Monday.

Dubinsky has missed the last six games with an elbow injury, but he was back on the ice with his teammates on Monday afternoon. He is about 10 days into a 2-3 week timetable, so there’s a chance he could return at the front-end of that timeframe and play this week.

Brandon Dubinsky
Ferraro (knee) will be a game-time decision on Monday.

Ferraro was claimed off of waivers from Detroit on Sunday and could make his Bruins debut tonight in Toronto. Ferraro has been sidelined with a knee injury and this would also be his return from that injury. The Bruins claimed him because they need help on the penalty kill.

Landon Ferraro
Stastny (foot) will return to the Blues' lineup on Monday.

Stastny has been sidelined since October 17th with a broken right foot, but will return to the lineup tonight vs. the Sabres. Stastny will return to the Blues’ top line with Vladimir Tarasenko and Alex Steen. He has one goal and four assists in five games this season.

Paul Stastny
Lack gets the nod on Monday in Philadelphia.

Lack allowed three goals on 19 shots in the Hurricanes loss to the Ducks last Monday. Lack has gone 1-4-0 with a 3.37 GAA and .861 SV% in his first five starts with the Hurricanes. His numbers have fallen drastically lower than they were with the Canucks, but he makes for a strong option tonight vs. a Flyers team that is last in the NHL in scoring.

Eddie Lack
Rask was the first goalie off of the ice at the morning skate.

Rask stopped all 22 shots in the Bruins’ 2-0 shutout win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday. It was a nice way to bounce back after giving up five in his previous outing. After posting a shutout, it is not surprising to see Rask start again tonight in Toronto. Rask has gone 3-4-0 with a 2.61 GAA and .905 SV% in November, but makes for a strong start vs. the Leafs.

Tuukka Rask
Nilsson will start for the seventh time in the last nine games.

Nilsson stopped 19 of 21 shots in the Oilers 5-1 win over the Devils on Friday. Nilsson has gone 3-2-1 with a 2.66 GAA and .900 SV% in his last six starts and comes into play at 2-2-0 on the road this season. This matchup should be avoided, Nilsson was pulled after allowing six goals on 17 shots in a 7-4 loss to the Caps back in October.

Anders Nilsson
Rinne is expected to start Monday in New York.

Rinne gave up four goals on 27 shots in the Predators loss in Minnesota on Saturday. Rinne has lost his last two games while allowing a combined seven goals on 44 shots (.841 SV%). Despite his recent struggles, Rinne is expected to make his ninth consecutive start and is won’t be easy to get back on track when he takes on the Rangers on the road.
