The Bruins have recalled Alex Khokhlachev from Providence (AHL).

Khokhlachev, 22, has have a great start to the year with Providence, scoring four goals with nine assists (13 points) in 10 games. He was on the ice for the Bruins morning skate and skated on a line with David Krejci and Loui Eriksson, suggesting he could take David Pastrnak’s spot in the top six tonight.

Alexander Khokhlachev
Quick leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick allowed three goals on 34 shots in the Kings win over the Predators on Saturday. Quick has been on fire recently, winning six straight games while posting a 1.31 GAA and .955 SV%. Typically a matchup with the Blackhawks would make you nervous as a Quick owner, but Chicago is averaging just 2.18 goals per game through 11 games.

Jonathan Quick
Boyes will be back in the Maple Leafs lineup on Monday.

After registering four assists in his first eight games with the Maple Leafs, Boyes served as a healthy scratch for the last two games. He will be reinserted into the lineup tonight vs. the Stars.

Brad Boyes
Niemi leads the Stars onto the ice for warmups.

Niemi surrendered three goals on 29 shots in the Stars win over the Sharks on Saturday. Niemi has won each of his last five starts and will be starting for the sixth time in seven games. Niemi enters Monday’s game at 6-1-0 with a 2.61 GAA and .915 SV%. He is a must-start vs. a Maple Leafs team who is averaging just 2.00 goals per game.

Antti Niemi
Quick is expected to get the nod in goal on Monday.

Quick did not take part in the Kings morning skate, but Jhonas Enroth did, which suggests that Quick will start tonight vs. the Blackhawks. The Kings have a back-to-back today and tomorrow, so it is believed that Enroth could get one of the games, but it looks as if Quick will go tonight. Quick comes in having won six straight.

Jonathan Quick
Mason will start Monday in Vancouver.

Mason gave up three goals on 32 shots in the Flyers loss to New Jersey last Thursday. Michal Neuvirth drew the start on Friday, but Mason will get back in goal tonight vs. the Canucks. Mason enters play with two wins and a 3.39 GAA and .900 SV%. He’ll face a Canucks team that has averaged 2.82 goals per game this season.

Steve Mason
Nilsson will face the Flyers on Tuesday.

Nilsson was pulled after giving up six goals on 17 shots in the Oilers’ loss to the Capitals on October 23rd. Cam Talbot started the last four games but Nilsson will get a chance at redemption tonight vs. the Flyers. There couldn’t be a better opponent to face than a Philly team who is averaging just 1.91 goals per game this season.

Anders Nilsson
The Oilers have activated Griffin Reinhart (undisclosed) from injured reserve.

Reinhart missed the last six games with an undisclosed injury but his activation from IR gives Reinhart a chance to play on Tuesday vs. the Flyers. Reinhart has no points and a plus-1 rating in four games.

Griffin Reinhart
Ramo will start Tuesday vs. the Avalanche.

Ramo allowed four goals on 24 shots in the Flames win over the Oilers on Saturday. It still wasn’t a pretty performance, but it was enough to earn his first win of the season and a second straight start. Ramo has an ugly 4.27 GAAA and .868 SV% on the season, but draws a favourable matchup vs. a struggling Colorado team.

Karri Ramo
Shattenkirk (lower-body) is doubtful for Tuesday's game.

Shattenkirk has missed the last eight games with a lower-body injury. He was not expected to miss this much time, but it looks like he will miss his ninth consecutive game on Tuesday, which also puts his status for Wednesday’s game in doubt.

Kevin Shattenkirk
Elliott will be in goal on Wednesday vs. the Blackhawks.

Elliott gave up three goals on 22 shots in the Blues loss to the Islanders on October 24th. Jake Allen has started the last four games, but Elliott will get back in goal on Wednesday in Chicago. Elliott has gone 3-0-0 with a 2.43 GAA and .904 SV% in three starts on the road this season.

Brian Elliott
Allen will start Tuesday vs. the Kings.

Allen turned aside 29 of 31 shots in the Blues win over the Wild on Saturday. He has won three consecutive games while allowing just three goals on 80 shots (.963 SV%). He will start his fourth straight game tonight with the Los Angeles Kings in town on the back-end of a back-to-back set.

Jake Allen
Stalberg (head) will return to the lineup on Tuesday.

Stalberg missed the last two games with a head injury, but he is set to return to the lineup on Tuesday vs. the Capitals. Stalberg has one goal and three assists (four points) in nine games this season.
