The Oilers have activated Matt Hendricks (foot) from injured reserve.

Hendricks has missed the last seven games with a foot injury but he was activated this morning and is expected to be in the lineup tonight vs. the Flyers. Hendricks is expected to skate on the Oilers’ third line with Mark Latest and Teddy Purcell.

Paquette (ankle) will not play on Tuesday; questionable for Thursday.

Paquette will miss his fifth straight game with an ankle injury that he suffered. Paquette was on the ice this morning but he is frustrated with how his ankle is responding. Paquette could return on Thursday; but is listed as questionable.

Holtby gets the nod on Tuesday vs. the Rangers.

Holtby stopped 29 of 30 shots in the Capitals win over the Blue Jackets last Friday. Holtby has won five of his last six starts while posting a 1.51 GAA and. 938 SV%. Holtby will face a Rangers team who is 11th in the NHL in scoring, but they’re a team that he is 3-6-1 against in his career.

Graovac underwent successful bilateral core muscle repair surgery and will miss six weeks.

Graovac was injured in the season debut and was nearing a return but reaggravated his injury in practice last week. Graovac will miss approximately six weeks which would put him on pace to be back in mid-December.

Anderson will start Tuesday in Montreal.

Anderson allowed five goals on 28 shots in the Senators loss to the Red Wings on Saturday. Anderson has lost four of his last five starts while posting a 3.32 GAA and .888 SV%. He will be in tough tonight vs. the Canadiens—Montreal is second in the NHL in scoring and enter play first in the NHL at 11-2-0.

Rask gets the nod vs. the Stars.

Rask made 31 saves on 32 shots in the Bruins win in Florida last Friday. Rask has won each of his last two starts and three of his last four while posting a 2.23 GAA and .922 SV%. He draws a tough matchup with the Stars in town—Dallas has averaged 3.42 goals per game and are coming off of a tough loss last night vs. the Maple Leafs.

The Maple Leafs have recalled Antoine Bibeau from Toronto (AHL).

Bibeau, 21, has gone 5-1-0 with a 2.17 GAA and .908 SV% in six games with the Marlies. Bibeau has been recalled because Jonathan Bernier is dealing with an undisclosed injury. Bibeau will likely serve as James Reimer’s backup on Wednesday.

Pastrnak (foot) will not play on Tuesday.

Pastrnak suffered a foot injury while blocking a shot in Friday’s game in Florida. he played on Saturday, but only played 7:41 TOI, so he clearly wasn’t 100 percent. He will get a few days off to allow his foot to heal, so the Bruins recalled Alex Khokhlachev, who replace Pastrnak.

Howard will be between the pipes on Tuesday.

Howard allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Red Wings loss to the Senators on Friday. Howard has lost three straight while allowing a combined 10 goals on 110 shots (.909 SV%). Tonight he will face the Lightning for the second time this season—he stopped 20 of 21 shots in a 3-1 win in their first meeting.

The Avalanche recalled Ben Street from San Antonio (AHL) on Monday.

Street had a great start to the season with San Antonio, registering 12 points (3G / 9A) in six games. His recall suggests that an Avalanche forward is dealing with an injury and Street could make his season debut on Tuesday. Street has two assists in 22 NHL games.

Halak allowed two goals on 17 shots in the Islanders shootout loss in New Jersey on Saturday. Halak was given Sunday night off, but he will get another crack tonight vs. New Jersey. Halak has won three of five while posting a 1.78 GAA and .932 SV%. It would be surprising to see the Islanders lose two in a row to the Devils.

Tavares will miss his third consecutive game with an illness. Despite not play tonight, it was a good sign that Tavares was able to take part in the Islanders’ morning skate. Monitor his status prior to Thursday’s game in Montreal.

Lundqvist gets the nod on Tuesday vs. Washington.

Lundqvist made 24 saves on 25 shots in the Rangers 3-1 win over the Maple Leafs last Friday. Lundqvist has gone 2-1-2 while posting an impressive 1.56 GAA and .951 SV% in his last five starts. Lundqvist has been great in 2015-16, but draws a difficult matchup tonight. The Capitals are fourth in the NHL in scoring with 3.40 goals per game.
