Weber will be in the lineup on Saturday vs. Detroit.

Weber has only appeared in one game this season. He played 19:55 and had one shot on goal and a plus-1 rating. Weber will play a key role on the Canucks power-play whenever he gets into the lineup. Tonight he will replace Matt Bartkowski.

Yannick Weber
Miller gets the nod on Saturday vs. the Red Wings.

Miller allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Canucks loss to the Capitals on Thursday. Miller has lost three in a row and sits at 3-1-2 with a 1.80 GAA and .935 SV%. Tonight he will take on a Red Wings team that has lost three straight and have been getting drastically out shot all year.

Ryan Miller
Rinne is expected to get the start on Saturday vs. the Penguins.

Rinne made 27 saves on 28 shots in the Predators 5-1 win over the Ducks on Thursday. Rinne moved to 5-1-0 with a 1.82 GAA and .933 SV% in six outings this season. Rinne is as steady of a fantasy hockey netminder as you will find and he makes for a great option on most nights. Tonight he takes on a talented Penguins team that is surprisingly struggling to score goals in October.

Pekka Rinne
Jones will start Saturday vs. the Hurricanes.

Jones allowed four goals on 29 shots in the Sharks loss to the Kings on Thursday. After allowing just two goals in his first four starts, Jones has given up eight goals on 57 shots (.860 SV%) in his last two outings. On Saturday he will look to snap the two-game losing skid against a Hurricanes team that is averaging just 1.71 goals per game this season.

Martin Jones
Montoya will start Saturday vs. the Stars.

Montoya allowed one goal on 23 shots in the Panthers win over the Hurricanes on October 13th. It was a nice season debut for Montoya, who will give Roberto Luongo the night off tonight in Dallas. It is not a favourable matchup for the Panthers backup—The Stars have averaged 3.57 goals per game this season.

Al Montoya
The Red Wings have recalled Alexey Marchenko from Grand Rapids (AHL).

Marchenko, 23, started the year on the IR but has since played four games with Grand Rapids, but has failed to record a point. He has been recalled because the Red Wings lost Kyle Quincey (concussion) and Mike Green (upper-body) in Friday’s OT loss to Calgary.

Alexey Marchenko
Quincey (undisclosed) will not play Saturday vs. the Canucks.

Quincey suffered a concussion in Friday’s loss to the Flames and his is out indefinitely. With Quincey out, the Red Wings have recalled Alexey Marchenko from Grand Rapids (AHL) and he will replace Quincey in the lineup on Saturday.

The Sharks have recalled John McCarthy from San Jose (AHL).

McCarthy, 29, has no points in five games with the Barracuda so far this season. He has been recalled and will make his season debut tonight on the Sharks fourth line. McCarthy has three goals and three assists in 87 career NHL games.

John McCarthy
Fleury will get the nod in goal on Saturday vs. Nashville.

Fleury allowed four goals on 23 shots in the Penguins loss to Dallas on Thursday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Fleury, who sits 3-4-0 with a 2.17 GAA and .924 SV% on the season. He will look to record his first road win of the season tonight, but it will not be easy as he gets set to face the 6-1-0 Predators.

Marc-Andre Fleury
The Lightning have placed Kevin Poulin on waivers.

Poulin served as Ben Bishop’s backup for the first eight games of the season. He was placed on waivers this afternoon because Kristers Gudlevskis will start tonight and Andrei Vasilevskiy is nearing a return from a blood clot.

Kevin Poulin
Montoya was the first goalie off of the ice at the Panthers' morning skate.

Al Montoya
Varlamov will make his second straight start on Saturday.

Varlamov stopped 18 of 19 shots in the Avs’ 1-0 overtime loss to the Hurricanes on Wednesday. Varlamov has lost three of his first four starts while posting a 3.89 GAA and .861 SV%. Tonight Varlamov draws a good matchup against a Blue Jackets team who has started the season 0-8-0.

Semyon Varlamov
Lindback will make his first start of the season on Saturday.

Lindback allowed one goal on seven shots after replacing Mike Smith in the Coyotes loss to the Wild on October 15th. Lindback struggled with the Sabres and Stars last season and comes into play on Saturday with at 40-52-7, 2.82 GAA and .905 SV% in his five year career. He will take on a Senators team who is averaging 3.14 goals per game.

Anders Lindback
Lehtonen will start Saturday vs. the Panthers.

Lehtonen allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Stars win in Florida last Saturday. Antti Niemi started the last two games, but it looks like the Stars will go back to Lehtonen tonight vs. the Panthers. Niemi has won each of his three starts while posting a 2.34 GAA and .920 SV%.

Kari Lehtonen
Vermette (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Saturday.

Vermette was injured in the Coyotes loss to the Rangers on Thursday. He missed Friday’s practice but took part in today’s morning skate. He will be a game-time decision, so monitor his status during pre-game warmups.

Antoine Vermette
Holland is expected to be a healthy scratch on Saturday.

With Byron Froese coming up from the AHL and making his NHL debut tonight, Holland is expected to be a healthy scratch. However, Leo Komarov is listed as a game-time decision, if he is unable to play, look for Holland to get into the lineup.

Peter Holland
Komarov (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Saturday.

Komarov was not at the Maple Leafs morning skate and is listed as a game-time decision tonight. Komarov is expected to play and the Leafs could use him in the lineup. He has been one of the most effective Leafs this season, scoring three goals with a plus-3 rating in six games.
