Hiller will start Sunday in New York.

Hiller gave up two goals on 29 shots in the Flames win overtime win over the Red Wings on Friday. With Karri Ramo getting demoted, Hiller has been given a chance to take over as the Flames’ No. 1 and Friday was a good start. Tonight he will be in tough against a Rangers team that has started the season 5-2-1.

Jonas Hiller
Brodie (hand) returned to practice on Sunday.

Brodie joined his teammates in a limited capacity on Sunday. It was the first time since he broke his hand that he has practiced, which is a good sign that he is getting close to returning to the lineup. Look for him to continue to ramp up his practice habits as next week progresses.

T.J. Brodie
Raffl left Saturday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Raffl left the game after being hit to the head and then he collapsed on the bench while trying to make it to the dressing room. It was a scary scene for the Flyers’ winger but he was reportedly feeling better after the game and may not be seriously injured as originally we thought.

Michael Raffl
Lazar left Saturday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Lazar left the game after a hit by Coyotes’ defenseman Zbynek Michalek and he did not come back from the dressing room. Lazar had been bumped up to the top line for Saturday’s game but he only played 4:54 TOI before retiring to the dressing room.

Curtis Lazar
Stalberg will not play on Sunday.

Stalberg left Saturday's game with a head injury after he was crushed by Radko Gudas in the neutral zone. There was no update on Stalberg's status after the game, other than he would not play tonight vs. the Flames. Emerson Etem will get back into the lineup.

Viktor Stalberg
Raanta will start Sunday vs. the Flames.

Raanta stopped all 22 shots that he faced in the shutout win over the Sharks in his Rangers debut on Monday. It was a sparklingly debut for Raanta, who has proven to be one of the best backup options in the NHL. On Saturday he draws a nice spot-start matchup vs. the Flames.

Antti Raanta
Rinne leads the Predators onto the ice for warmups.

Rinne made 27 saves on 28 shots in the Predators 5-1 win over the Ducks on Thursday. Rinne moved to 5-1-0 with a 1.82 GAA and .933 SV% in six outings this season. Rinne is as steady of a fantasy hockey netminder as you will find and he makes for a great option on most nights. Tonight he takes on a talented Penguins team that is surprisingly struggling to score goals in October.

Pekka Rinne
Greiss will start for the Islanders on Saturday.

Greiss allowed three goals on 47 shots in the Islanders win over the Predators on October 15th. He filled in nicely while Jaroslav Haalk was out, winning two of three starts and posting a 2.64 GAA and .925 SV%. He is one of the better backups and spot-start options in the league, but tonight’s matchup is one to avoid.

Thomas Greiss
The Ducks have recalled Joe Piskula from San Diego (AHL).

Piskula, 31, was one of the final cuts in Ducks’ training camp and has been recalled because Josh Manson (upper-body) is out and has been placed on IR. Piskula has no points and a plus-2 rating in four games with San Diego.

Joe Piskula
Andersen will start Saturday in Minnesota.

Andersen allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Ducks loss to the Avalanche last Friday. Anton Khudobin started the last two games but the Ducks will turn to Andersen tonight in Minnesota. Andersen has been great, posting a 1.56 GAA and .947 SV% in four starts, but the Ducks lack of offence has him searching for his first win of the season.

Frederik Andersen
Bobrovsky starts on Saturday vs. the Avalanche.

Bobrovsky allowed three goals on 23 shots in the Blue Jackets loss to the Wild on Thursday. Bobrovsky has lost each of his first six starts of the season, while posting a 4.72 GAA and .840 SV%. On Saturday he will face an Avalanche team that ranks in the middle of the pack with 2.67 goals per game this season.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Martin (lower-body) will return to the Sharks lineup on Saturday.

Martin has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury, but he will return to the lineup tonight vs. the Hurricanes. Martin has one assist and a plus-2 rating in four games this season.

Paul Martin
Green (upper-body) will not play Saturday vs. Vancouver.

Green’s upper-body injury that he suffered on Friday night will keep him out of the lineup tonight. There was no word on the nature or severity of Green’s injury, but it will force him from the lineup tonight. Alexey Marchenko has been recalled and will replace Green in the lineup.

Mike Green
Lack will start on Saturday vs. the Sharks.

Lack gave up three goals on 29 shots in the Hurricanes loss to the Panthers on October 13th. Cam Ward has started six of the first seven games this season, including last night, but the Hurricanes will turn to Lack tonight in San Jose. Lack has stopped 61 of 64 shots (.953 SV%) in two career games against the Sharks.

Eddie Lack
Gudlevskis will make his season debut on Saturday vs. Chicago.

Gudlevskis, 23, was 25-14-4 with a 2.81 GAA and .900 SV% in 46 games with Syracuse last season and has gone 2-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .930 SV% in two starts this season. With Ben Bishop starting the first eight games of the season and Kevin Poulin on waivers, Gudlevskis will start his second career NHL game tonight.
