Allen stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Blues’ shutout win in Ottawa on Tuesday. Allen was struggling, but has played well in his last three starts, stopping 83 of 87 shots (.954 SV%). One of those games were against the Maple Leafs, who he will face again tonight—he allowed one goal on 27 shots in a win last Thursday.

Gostisbehere served as a healthy scratch in the last three games, but will draw back into the lineup tonight after the Flyers were shutout in two straight games. Gostisbehere had a sensational rookie campaign, but has had some struggles in 2016-17. The man known as the “Ghost Bear” has four goals and 17 assists (21 points) in 48 games this season.

He’ll face a Capitals team that has won five of their last six.

Clendening was a healthy scratch for the last four games, but he will replace Dan Girardi (ankle) in the lineup tonight vs. the Predators. Clendening has one goal and seven assists (eight points) in 18 games this season.

Girardi is day-to-day because his ankle is swollen and needed stitches after Tuesday’s game vs. the Ducks. With Girardi out, Nick Holden should move up and play with Ryan McDonagh and Adam Clendening will draw back into the lineup.

Because the Bruins will not hold a morning skate, we won't get an idea of who starts until closer to game-time. Head coach Claud Juien rarely announced his starting goaltender, but we shall see if interim head coach Bruce Cassidy changes that mentality in Boston.

Gibson allowed three goals on 19 shots in the Ducks’ loss in New York on Tuesday. Gibson has lost four of his last five starts while allowing a combined 11 goals on 113 shots (.903 SV%). Grant had three assists in 35 games with the Sabres earlier this season before ending up in Nashville via waivers. He had one assist in six games with Nashville but was reclaimed by the Sabres last week. With Evander Kane listed as a game-time decision, Grant has been recalled and could draw into the lineup tonight.

Rodrigues, 23, could draw into the lineup for a banged up Evander Kane on Thursday. Rodrigues has no points in two games with the Sabres this season, but has 27 points (9G / 18A) in 43 games with Rochester.

Anderson missed the third period vs. the Red Wings after being hit by Brendan Smith and did not return. Despite being in concussion protocol, it looks like Anderson will be in the lineup on Thursday. Anderson has 10 goals and nine assists (19 points) in 51 games this season.

Claesson has been a healthy scratch for the last three games, but is expected to draw in as the Senators’ seventh defenseman tonight. The young blueliner has picked up four assists in 14 games this season.

Kane was hurt while scoring a goal in the Sabres’ win over the Sharks on Tuesday. Kane is listed as a game-time decision and the Sabres are hoping he will play because he’s been red-hot lately.
