Halak starts Thursday vs. the Kings.

Halak made 31 saves on 32 shots in the Islanders 2-1 loss to Minnesota on Tuesday. Halak is 2-2-2 with a 1.82 GAA and .937 SV% in his last six outings. Tonight he will face a Kings team who have also lost four of their last six. Halak is 20-9-1 with a 2.44 GAA and .915 SV% at home this season.

Bihsop allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Lightning’s win over Boston on Sunday. He was given Tuesday night off, but will be back in tonight vs. Nashville. He has won three in a row while posting a 2.00 GAA and .935 SV%. Tonight he has a tough matchup with the Predators in town, but Bishop has been unreal at home (25-5-1 / 2.06 GAA / .928 SV%).

Bernier allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Maple Leafs loss to the Wild on Monday. Bernier has gone 2-7-1 with a 3.55 GAA and .903 SV% in his last nine starts and one relief appearance. Simmonds reportedly suffered a fracture left leg and will miss the rest of the regular season. Simmonds finishes the season with 28 goals and 22 assists (50 points) in 75 games.

Tokarski allowed two goals on 43 shots in the Rangers win in Florida on March 17th. Tokarski has made 14 starts this season, with 10 of those coming on the road. Tonight will be number-11 and he comes in at 5-4-1 with a 2.36 GAA and .927 SV% away from the Bell Centre this season.

Varlamov starts again on Thursday in Vancouver.

Varlamov was yanked after giving up three goals on seven shots in the Avs loss to the Oilers last night. He didn’t even make it to the 10-minute mark of the first period, but he will go again tonight in Vancouver. After winning six in a row, Varly has now lost three straight while posting a 4.18 GAA and .877 SV%.

Lehtonen allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Stars 4-3 win over Buffalo on Monday. He has now won three in a row and six of his last seven starts while posting a 1.72 GAA and .932 SV%. Tonight he will make his eighth straight start as he takes on a Flames team who have lost three of five.

Smith allowed four goals on 37 shots in the Coyotes overtime win over the Red Wings on Tuesday. It was his first win since March 5th and he now sits 2-7-0 with a 2.33 GAA and .936 SV% this month. Tonight he could string together back-to-back wins with the Coyotes taking on the Sabres in Buffalo.

Talbot allowed four goals on 35 shots in the Rangers loss to the Kings on Tuesday. Talbot sits 7-2-1 with a 1.49 GAA and .953 SV% in his last 10 starts. Talbot is red-hot but he will need to be at his best tonight as the Rangers take on an equally hot Andrew Hammond and the Senators.
