Shaw will skate on the Blackhawks top-line on Wednesday.

Shaw did not skate on the top line in the morning skate, but coach Joel Quenneville announced that Shaw will be on a line with Jonathan Toews and Brandon Saad tonight vs. the Flyers. Shaw scored two goals in the Blackhawks win over the Hurricanes on Monday.

Andrew Shaw
Ramo will make his fourth straight start on Wednesday.

Ramo allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Flames win over the Avalanche on Monday. He has won three of his last five starts while posting a 2.38 GAA and .913 SV%. Tonight he will take on a Stars team who have won six of their last seven games as they try to keep their bleak playoff hopes alive.

Karri Ramo
Mason gets the call on Wednesday vs. Chicago.

Mason was scheduled to start on Saturday, but was a late scratch due to an illness. He will be back in goal tonight coming off of a 14-save performance in a 4-1 loss to the Flames last Thursday. Mason enters play at 2-4-3 with a 2.41 GAA and .922 SV% in the month of March.

Steve Mason
Ward (illness) will be back in goal on Thursday.

Ward has missed the last five games with an illness, but will draw back into the crease tonight vs. the Penguins. Ward stopped 20 of 21 shots in the Hurricanes 2-0 loss to the Panthers in his last start. He has gone 1-1-0 with a 2.02 GAA and .934 SV% in two starts against Pittsburgh this season.

Cam Ward
Schneider starts on Thursday in Washington.

Schneider allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Devils loss to the Kings on Tuesday. Schneider is 3-4-1 with a 2.08 GAA and .935 SV% in his last eight outings. Tonight will be his fifth start against the Capitals this season—he has gone 1-3-0 with a 2.99 GAA and .894 SV% in the first four meetings.

Cory Schneider
Crawford will start Wednesday vs. the Flyers.

Crawford made 43 saves on 44 shots in the Blackhawks 3-1 win over the Hurricanes on Monday. He has been victorious in four of his last five starts while posting a 1.81 GAA and .945 SV%. Crawford will face a Flyers team who have lost eight of their last nine games.

Corey Crawford
Datsyuk (lower-body) is "close"; could be back on Thursday.

Datsyuk has missed the last four games with a lower-body injury but it looks like he has a chance to return tomorrow vs. the Sharks. The Red Wings have gone 1-2-1 in the four games that Datsyuk has missed.

The Rangers have returned Mackenzie Skapski to Hartford (AHL).

Skapski, 20, went 1-0-1 with a 0.50 GAA and .978 SV% in two starts with the Rangers (both vs. BUF). He returns to the AHL where he has gone 12-7-3 with a 2.38 GAA and .914 SV% this season. His return to the minors suggests that Henrik Lundqvist will dress on Thursday.

Mackenzie Skapski
Lundqvist (neck) is expected to dress on Thursday.

The Rangers sent Mackenzie Skapski back to Hartford (AHL) today, so Lundqvist will at least dress as Cam Talbot’s backup on Thursday. There is no word who their starter will be, but the way Talbot has played in his absence gives the Rangers a scary 1-2 punch in goal heading into the playoffs. Lundqvist has gone 25-11-3 with a 2.25 GAA, .922 SV% and five shutouts this season.

Henrik Lundqvist
Crawford was the first goalie off of the ice for the Blackhawks.

Erhoff left Wednesday's game with an undisclosed injury and did not return.

Ehrhoff, who missed 19 of the Penguins' past 24 games, appeared dizzy after the side of his head hit the boards following a Vladimir Tarasenko hit early in the first period. Coach Mike Johnston said said after the game that he had no update on Ehrhoff's status. He has eben battling concussion issues since mid-January.

Christian Ehrhoff
Hackett is expected to start in goal on Thursday.

Hackett allowed three goals on 43 shots in the Sabres loss in Nashville last Saturday. Hackett has gone 0-3-0 with a 4.33 GAA and .893 SV% in three games since being recalled. Tonight he makes for an OK option with the Coyotes in town.

Matthew Hackett
Ference (upper-body) will not play on Wednesday.

Ference missed Tuesday’s practice and will be held out of tonight’s game vs. the Avalanche. He will undergo further testing to determine the severity of his injury. Keith Aulie is expected to get back into the lineup with Ference out.
