Smith gets the call Tuesday in Detroit.

Smith allowed two goals on 43 shots in the Coyotes 3-1 loss to the Canucks on Monday. Despite posting a strong 2.03 GAA and .946 SV%, Smith has lost each of his last six starts. Tonight Smith gets the call against a Red Wings team who have lost four of their last six contests, but are coming off of a big OT win over the Blues on Sunday.

Gibson starts in Columbus.

Gibson allowed four goals on 22 shots after replacing Frederik Andersen in the Ducks 7-2 loss to the Rangers on Monday. It was a rough night for the entire team, but they draw a nice matchup to help them get back on track tonight. Gibson has gone 5-1-0 with a 2.49 GAA and .921 SV% in March.

Hammond is expected to start on Thursday.

Hammond allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Senators win over the Sharks on Tuesday. We’ll just keep updating his outrageous numbers…Hammond is now 14-0-1 with a 1.67 GAA and .946 SV% since being recalled. Despite being nearly unbeatable, he draws a tough matchup tonight against a Rangers team who have won seven of their last nine.

Datsyuk (lower-body) will not play on Tuesday.

Datsyuk will miss his fourth consecutive game with a lower-body injury. However, he did skate on Monday and he is hopeful that he will be able to return on Thursday against the Sharks.

Dubnyk will start his 33rd consecutive game on Tuesday.

Dubnyk made 35 saves on 36 shots in the Wild’s 2-1 win in Toronto last night. This will be the fifth time that Dubnyk has started both games of a back-to-back for the Wild. In the first four starts he has gone 2-0-1 with a 2.27 GAA and .935 SV%. He comes in having gone 8-3-0 with a 1.91 GAA and .937 SV% in March.

Luongo will start Tuesday in Tampa Bay.

Luongo made 26 saves on 27 shots in the Panthers 2-1 shootout win over the Bruins on Saturday. He has won two in a row while stopping 52 of 54 shots (.963 SV%). Tonight Bobby Lu gets the call against a Lightning team who have gone 7-2-1 in their last 10 games.

Fleury will get the call on Tuesday.

Fleury made 30 saves on 31 shots in the Penguins 3-1 win over the Coyotes on Saturday. Fleury has gone 4-3-1 with a 2.41 GAA and .914 SV% in eight starts this month. Tonight Fleury will get the nod tonight against a Blues team who have gone 2-2-2 while scoring an average 2.17 goals per game over that span.

Bobrovsky gets the call vs. the Ducks.

Bobrovsky allowed two goals on 40 shots in the Blue Jackets 3-2 overtime win over the Flames on Saturday. He has won five of six while posting a 2.42 GAA and .931 SV%. He draws a tough assignment against a Ducks team who will be looking to bounce back from a 7-2 defeat to the Rangers on Sunday.

Vasilevskiy was the first goalie off of the ice for the Lightning.

Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Lightning’s loss to the Jets on March 14th. Vasilevskiy has gone 6-4-1 with a 2.35 GAA and .918 SV% in 11 starts and two relief appearances this season. Tonight he will start against a Panthers team who have won five of his last seven starts.

Halak gets the nod vs. Minnesota.

Halak stopped all 26 shots that he faced in the Islanders shout win over the Devils on Saturday. Halak ranks fourth in the NHL in wins (35) and seventh in shutouts (5) but is 18th in GAA (2.41) and 26th in SV% (.913). Tonight Halak will get the nod against a Wild team who have won four of five.

Dupuis (blood clot) will not play again this season.

Dupuis has not played since November 15th because of a blood clot in his lungs. He will miss the rest of this season, but coach Mike Johnston did not rule out the possibility of Dupuis being back in 2015-16.

Lundqvist (neck) returned to practice on Tuesday.

Lundqvist has been out since February 2nd, but was finally back at practice on Tuesday. Cam Talbot will start on Tuesday and it will be a “stretch” for Lundqvist to be ready for Thursday’s game in Ottawa. If he can’t play Thursday, King Henrik could be ready for the Rangers back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday.

Talbot starts Tuesday vs. the Kings.

Talbot made 36 saves on 38 shots in the Rangers dominant 7-2 win over the Ducks on Sunday. He has won five of his last six starts while posting a 1.32 GAA and .959 SV%. Henrik Lundqvist returned to practice on Tuesday, but they won’t rush him back the way Talbot is playing. Talbot has gone 9-1-3 with a 1.64 GAA and .943 SV% at home this season.
