Grigorenko was recalled on Tuesday, sent down on Wednesday and then recalled again on Thursday. Grigorenko did not play on Tuesday because of a knee injury, but he is expected to play Friday in Ottawa.
Montoya was injured on Tuesday and will miss at least two weeks with a groin injury. Roberto Luongo is also out, so the Panthers will have to go with Dan Ellis until Luongo is back. Montoya won’t be back until mid-March at the earliest.

He comes into tonight having shut the Avs out in their last meeting and searching for his seventh career 30-plus win season.
Clarkson will miss 4-6 weeks with a torn oblique, so his season is likely done. He has played just three games with the Blue Jackets after being acquired from the Maple Leafs and it already looks like he is done for the year.
Latta left the game after playing just 3:38 and did not return. He got in a fight with Justin Falk, but there is no word if he suffered the injury in that bout. If he can’t go on Thursday, expect Brooks Laich to return to the lineup.

Before he could even suit up in a game for Boston, Connolly suffered a displace fracture in his right index finger. He was injured when he took a puck to the hand in Wednesday’s practice. The Bruins just gave up two 2nd round picks to get Connolly from Tampa Bay.
Varlamov gave up three goals on 32 shots in the Avs loss to the Wild last Saturday. With three games off between games and two more after today, it should be Varlamov tonight vs. the Penguins. Varly wen 6-7-0 with a 2.86 GAA and .903 SV% in 13 starts in February.
