Andersen was the first goalie off the ice for the Ducks.

Andersen gave up four goals on 32 shots in the Ducks 5-4 shootout win over Winnipeg on Sunday. Despite allowing a combined 10 goals in his last three starts, he has walked away victorious in all three contests. Tonight it looks like he will face the Maple Leafs; he was pulled after allowing four goals on 20 shots in a 6-2 loss in Toronto in mid-December.

Frederik Andersen
Miller was promoted to the Rangers second line on Wednesday.

With Derek Stepan sidelined with an upper-body injury, Miller skated between Chris Kreider and Martin St. Louis in Wednesday’s practice. Miller played well while Derick Brassard was out, so the move back into the top-6 should spark Miller’s production. He has four assists in his last five games.

J.T. Miller
Stepan (upper-body) missed practice on Wednesday.

Stepan was injured in last night’s game and then missed practice this morning which doesn’t bode well for him being in the lineup tomorrow vs. Boston. With Stepan out, J.T Miller was centring the second line and Mats Zuccarello moved to the first power-play.

Derek Stepan
Enroth gets the crease for the Sabres on Thursday.

Enroth allowed five goals on 31 shots in the Sabres loss to the Hurricanes last Thursday. He has lost five in a row while allowing a combined 19 goals on 148 shots (.872 SV%). His recent struggles led to Michal Neuvirth starting the last two games, but Enroth will be back in goal tonight vs. a Wild team who have lost six consecutive games.

Jhonas Enroth
Parenteau (upper-body) will return to the Canadiens’ lineup on Wednesday.

Parenteau missed the last three games with an upper-body injury he suffered on January 2nd in New Jersey. He will skate on a line with Alex Galchenyuk and Brandon Prust tonight in Columbus. He has 15 points (6G / 9A) in 38 games this season and has not registered a goal since November 28th.

P.A. Parenteau
The Penguins have claimed Mark Arcobello off of waivers from Nashville.

Arcobello, who was originally traded to Nashville from Edmonton for Derek Roy, was placed on waivers yesterday and claimed by Pittsburgh this afternoon. He will join former Oilers teammate David Perron, who was traded to the Penguins in early January. Arcobello has 12 goals and 19 assists (31 points) in 82 career NHL games.

Mark Arcobello
Holtby will face the Flyers on Wednesday.

Holtby stopped 31 of 32 shots in the Capitals’ 2-1 victory over the Avalanche on Monday. He has yet to lose in regulation since the calendar turned over to 2015—he is 5-0-1 with a 2.00 GAA and .938 SV% over that span. He allowed three goals on 33 shots in s 3-2 OT loss in Philadelphia last Thursday.

Braden Holtby
Anisimov (tricep) resumed skating on Wednesday.

Anisimov skated for the first time since suffering a torn tricep on November 29th in Nashville. The Blue Jackets are starting to get healthy, but he was originally expected to miss 2-3 months, so don’t expect him back for a couple of weeks at least.

Artem Anisimov
Bobrovsky will start vs. the Habs.

Bobrovsky gave up five goals on 40 shots in the Blue Jackets loss to the Islanders on Saturday. After a superb month of December, Goalie Bob has struggled in January, going 1-3-0 with a 4.57 GAA and .867 SV%. He will look to get things back on track tonight with the Habs in town—he is 8-6-2 / 2.87 GAA / .913 SV% at home.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Zepp will start on Wednesday vs. Washington.

Despite Ray Emery looking like the starter on Tuesday, it will be Zepp again tonight in Washington. He allowed three goals on 24 shots in the Flyers 7-3 win over the Lightning on Monday. He has won each of his first two NHL starts with a 3.00 GAA and .885 SV%.

The Flames have recalled Drew Shore from Adirondack (AHL).

Shore, who was acquired by the Flames in a trade on January 9th, was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the second round (44th overall) in the 2009 NHL Draft. He didn’t get a chance to debut for Adirondack, but he was second on San Antonio (AHL) in scoring with 30 points (9G / 21A) in 35 games.

Drew Shore
Bobrovsky is expected to get the nod for the Blue Jackets.

Stepan left Tuesday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Stepan played a season low 6:55 and while the team would not confirm the nature of the injury, it appeared as if Stepan suffered a hand injury after being slashed by Islanders forward Matt Martin. Stepan will be evaluated on Wednesday and more details should be released in the next 24 hours.

Derek Stepan
Rinne left Tuesday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Rinne, who leads the NHL in wins, left late in the third period after he slid feet first into the boards. He was attended to by trainers, but was able to skate off under his own power. Rinne is likely the early candidate for the Vezina Trophy, so if he misses anytime, it is a huge loss for the Predators. He will be re-evaluated and a more detailed injury report will be released in the next 24 hours.

Pekka Rinne
Niemi starts for the Sharks

Niemi allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Sharks loss to the Rangers on Saturday. He has lost three of his last four while allowing a combined 15 goals on 98 shots (.847 SV%). Despite a stretch of poor performances, Niemi draws a nice matchup to help get him back on track tonight.

Antti Niemi
Lehtonen leads the Stars onto the ice for warmups.

Lehtonen allowed four goals on 30 shots in the Stars 4-3 defeat vs. the Avs on Saturday. After winning four in a row, Lehtonen has dropped three straight while surrendering a combined 12 goals on 92 shots (.870 SV%). He will face the Senators tonight—Lehotnen is 6-2-1 with a 3.10 GAA and .895 SV% vs. the Eastern Conference this season.

Kari Lehtonen

Pekka Rinne
Rask leads the Bruins onto the ice for warmups.
