Bishop leads the Lightning onto the ice for warmups.

Bishop allowed three goals on 12 shots after replacing Evgeni Nabokov in the Lightning’s loss to the Flyers last night. After Nabby got the call yesterday, it was obvious it would be Bishop tonight vs. Boston. He is 3-0-0 in January, despite posting a 2.86 GAA and .874 SV%.

Ben Bishop
Ramo (upper-body) did not practice on Tuesday, but is expected to return to practice on Wednesday.

Ramo is eligible to be activated from IR and play on Thursday, but that decision likely won’t be made until Thursday. With two capable goaltenders currently on the roster, the Flames won’t rush Ramo.

Karri Ramo
Neal (lower-body) has been activated from IR and will be in the lineup tonight vs. Vancouver.

Neal has missed the last five games with a lower-body injury, but will be back in tonight vs. the Canucks. Neal will skate with Mike Fisher and Colin Wilson on the Predators second line. He has 13 goals and 10 assists (23 points) in 35 games this season.

James Neal
Kennedy (upper-body) will return to the Sharks lineup on Tuesday.

Kennedy has been out since December 6th, but will return to the lineup tonight vs. Arizona. He will take Andrew Desjardins place in the lineup, because Desjardins is with his wife awaiting the birth of their child.

Tyler Kennedy
Niemi was the first goalie off of the ice for the Sharks.

Niemi allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Sharks loss to the Rangers on Saturday. He has lost three of his last four while allowing a combined 15 goals on 98 shots (.847 SV%). Despite a stretch of poor performances, Niemi draws a nice matchup to help get him back on track tonight.

Antti Niemi
Luongo will start for the Panthers.

Luongo stopped 31 of 33 shots in the Panthers 4-2 win over the Oilers on Sunday. Since the calendar flipped to 2015, Luongo has gone 3-0-0 with a 1.64 GAA and .949 SV%. He is having an incredible year for a 35-year-old. He sits at 17-7-7 with a 2.23 GAA, .927 SV% and has the Panthers sitting just outside of the playoffs.

Roberto Luongo
The Coyotes have recalled Philip Samuelsson from Portland (AHL).

Samuelsson, 23, was acquired from the Penguins in the Rob Klinkhammer trade in early December. The 2009 second-round pick has registered one goal and two assist in 16 games with Portland and has a total of seven points (1G / 6A) in 38 AHL games this season. He could make his Coyotes debut tonight vs. San Jose.

Philip Samuelsson
The Coyotes have place Martin Hanzal (upper-body) on injured reserve.

Hanzal will miss his fourth straight game when the Coyotes take on the Sharks tonight. His placement on IR makes room for the Coyotes to recall Philip Samuelsson, but Hanzal is eligible to be activated whenever he is healthy.

Martin Hanzal
Scrivens will start in goals vs. St. Louis.

Scrivens surrendered four goals on 27 shots in the Oilers 4-2 loss to the Panthers on Sunday. Scrivens is enjoying the best stretch of games of the season and he has been strong going 2-1-1 with a 2.21 GAA and .917 SV% since the calendar turned over to 2015. Avoid him tonight in St. Louis though.

Ben Scrivens
Colaiacovo will return to the Flyers lineup on Wednesday.

Colaiacovo has not played since November 19th, but will be back in the lineup tomorrow because the Flyers will be without Braydon Coburn and Nicklas Grossmann. Colaiacovo will be paired with Luke Schenn.

Carlo Colaiacovo
Rinne is expected to start for the Predators.

Rinne made 36 saves on 37 shots in the Predators 3-1 win over the Wild on Saturday. Rinne has been ridiculous all year long and his winning streak has hit five, while posting a 2.60 GAA and .907 SV% over that stretch. In his first start against the Canucks he made 26 saves in a 3-1 win.

Pekka Rinne
Luongo was the first goalie off of the ice for the Panthers.

Dubnyk will be in goal for the Coyotes.

Dubnyk gave up six tallies on 31 shot attempts in the Coyotes loss in Dallas on New Years Eve. Mike Smith started the last four games, but Dubnyk will be in the game tonight vs. the Sharks. He was 4-3-1 with a 2.94 GAA and .914 SV% in December—Dubnyk made 40 saves in a 4-3 shootout win in his first start vs. San Jose.

Devan Dubnyk
Miller (illness) will not start on Tuesday.

The Canucks said on Monday that Miller would get the start on Tuesday, but he must still be fighting the illness that kept him from starting on Saturday. Eddie Lack will get the nod and Miller is expected to serve as his backup.

Ryan Miller
Lack, not Miller will start on Tuesday.

Lack stopped 22 of 23 shots in the Canucks 1-0 loss to the Flames on Saturday. Ryan Miller was scheduled to start tonight, but he must still be feeling under the weather, so Lack will get his third start in the last four games. He is 1-10 with a 1.51 GAA and .935 SV% in the previous two outings.
