Crawford will be in goal on Monday.

Crawford gave up two goals on 23 shots in the Blackhawks 5-2 win over the Avalanche on Saturday. It was Crawford’s first win since returning from a foot injury and pushed him to 13-6-2 on the season. Tonight he makes his second start vs. the Predators, he made 19 saves in a 2-1 win in Chicago in October.

Corey Crawford
Brodeur will start for the Blues on Monday.

Brodeur stopped all 10 shots that he faced after replacing jake Allen last Tuesday vs. the Avs. Tonight, he will start vs. Colorado in what could be his final NHL game, unless the Blues elect to keep him and send Jake Allen back to the AHL. Brodeur is 2-2-0 with a 3.29 GAA and .892 SV% since signing with St. Louis.

Martin Brodeur
The Maple Leafs have recalled Chris Gibson from Toronto (AHL).

There is no immediate update as to why Gibson is being recalled. Jonathan Bernier is expected to get the start, so James Reimer could be dealing with a minor injury or illness. Expect an update at 3 PM ET when the team arrives to the rink.

Chris Gibson
The Avalanche have sent Dennis Everberg back to Lake Erie (AHL).

Everberg, 22, has recorded one goal and three assists in 19 games with Colorado this season. He heads back to Lake Erie where he has two goals and one assist in five games.

Dennis Everberg
Tlusty (upper-body) will return to the lineup on Monday.

Tlusty has missed the last seven games with an upper-body injury, but will be back tomorrow vs. Montreal. He will skate with Viktor Rask and Chris Terry. Tlusty has 10 goals and three assists in 28 games this season.

Jiri Tlusty
Staal (leg) will make his season debut on Monday.

Staal has not played yet this season after fracturing his fibula in the preseason. He will make his season debut on a line with his brother Eric and Nathan Gerbe. He had 40 points (15G / 25A) in 82 games last season. If he can play at that pace again this season, he would be able to post close to 25 points in the remaining 47 games.

Jordan Staal
Gionta (head) is listed as week-to-week.

Gionta has been out with a head injury since December 21st. He likely sustained a concussion and will miss a couple of weeks. With the week-to-week tag, there won’t be many updates on Gionta’s status until he is closer to returning to the lineup.

Brian Gionta
The Predators have placed Derek Roy on waivers.

Roy has served as a healthy scratch in the last three games and has now been placed on waivers. He has 10 points (1G / 9A) in 26 games this season. It would be surprising if a team like Edmonton or another team in need of a veteran pivot does not claim Roy.

Derek Roy
Garrison (undisclosed) practiced on a Sunday; hopes to return on Monday.

Garrison missed the last two games with an undisclosed injury, but it looks like he will be in-line to return to the lineup tomorrow vs. the Maple Leafs. Monitor his status in the pre-game warmups.

Jason Garrison
Price starts vs. the Hurricanes on Monday.

Price made 37 saves on 38 shots in the Canadiens’ win over the Islanders last Tuesday. After six days off, it is no surprise to see Price between the pipes tonight. He draws a great matchup to help shake the rust off as he takes on the Hurricanes in Carolina. He has won five of six with a 1.34 GAA and .954 SV%.
