Bruins’ head coach Claude Julien said that Warsofsky’s injury is “worse than day-to-day”. He had recorded his first point of the year last night, but will be out of the lineup for awhile now. The Bruins will have to make another call-up.
Kuemper allowed three goals on 21 shots in the Wild’s 4-1 loss to the Penguins on Tuesday. He was given Thursday night off so he is expected to take on the Canadiens tonight in Montreal. Kuemper has not slowed down much and comes into tonight with a 6-3-0 record, 1.77 GAA and .922 SV%.
Mason stopped 34 of 35 shots in a 4-1 win over the Panthers on Thursday. After sitting for four straight games, tonight will mark Mason’s fourth consecutive start. He has won two of the three with a 1.36 GAA and .960 SV%. He would face an Avalanche team who have lost five of seven.
Andersen allowed a single goal on 22 shots in the Ducks win over the Stars last Friday. Andersen missed the last two games with leg tightness, but will be back between the pipes tonight vs. Arizona. He is a must-start vs. a struggling Coyotes team at home where he is 3-1-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .948 SV%.
Perry missed Wednesday’s game with the flu and has not skated for the last two days. He has to be considered doubtful for tonight’s meeting with the Coyotes. We will get an update after the morning skate.
Ramo allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Flames loss to the Capitals on October 25th. He sat and watched Jonas Hiller start the last five games, but will get back between the pipes tonight in Florida. Ramo is 2-2-1 with a 2.37 GAA and .914 SV%.
Holtby allowed four goals on 23 shots in the Capitals loss to the Flames on Tuesday. He has lost three in a row, allowing four goals in each contest. Holtby is struggling right now and has a terrible matchup tonight in Chicago. He is 2-2-0 on the road this season.
McElhinney allowed three goals on 36 shots in a loss to the Hurricanes on Tuesday. He will get another crack at Carolina tonight, this time on the road. He has yet to record a win in four tries while posting a 4.08 GAA and .877 SV%. So in other words, look elsewhere.
Stepan has missed the first 12 games of the season with a fractured fibula that he suffered in the preseason. He skated on the Rangers second line with Mats Zuccarello and Chris Kreider this morning, so expect that to be where he is at tomorrow. He had 57 points (17G / 40A) in 82 games last season. He had never missed a game in his NHL career prior to this injury, so expect him to play 70 games and potentially get back to 50 points again.
Boyle has been out since the season opener with a broken hand, but was back on the ice again on Friday morning and should be back in the lineup next week. With Ryan McDonagh out, getting Boyle back would be huge for the Rangers power-play.
Lundqvist gave up three goals on 28 shots in the Rangers win over the Red Wings on Wednesday. It has been a mixed bag from Lundqvist through the first month of the season. He enters Sunday at 6-3-1 with a 2.86 GAA and .903 SV%. He is a must-start in all formats, unless you have goalie numbers already locked up.
Talbot allowed three goals on 34 shots in a loss to the Blues on Monday. He will make his second start of the week in the front end of the Rangers’ back-to-back. He will take on the Leafs who have dropped two in a row and sit sixth in the Atlantic Division at 6-5-2.

Krug missed his four fourth game in a row with a broken finger he suffered on October 28th. Krug is one week into a 2-3 week timeline and has reportedly been limited in what he can do with his hand. Look for Krug to continue to practice and progress and could return by next weekend.
The Rangers have a back-to-back set coming up this weekend, so it looks like they will go with Talbot on Saturday in Toronto and then Henrik Lundqvist at home vs. the Oilers on Sunday. The previous days practice is not as good of an indication as the game day skate, but we will revisit this on Saturday.
Coburn has been out since the season opener on October 8th because of a lower-body injury that he suffered a setback with a few weeks ago. With Coburn coming back, expect Carlo Colaiacovo to sit.
Quincey will miss his fourth straight game tonight, but he was back on the ice for the Red Wings this morning and could return Sunday vs. the Lightning. Quincey’s return would mean that Brian Lashoff will likely return to being a healthy scratch.
Howard stopped 29 of 31 shots in the Red Wings 3-1 loss to the Senators. Detroit is not playing well as of late, but Howard has been sensational. He has yet to allow more than three goals in a game and has allowed just 20 goals in 10 games while posting a .928 SV%. Get him in your lineup tonight vs. a Devils team coming off of a loss to the Blues last night.
Gleason must have suffered an upper-body injury in the Hurricanes win over Columbus on Tuesday. He played just 11:23 (16:30 AVG TOI) and missed practice yesterday, so he will be replaced by John-Michael Liles tonight.
