Mason missed the last two games with a lower-body injury, but is expected to go tonight vs. Montreal. He has lost his last three starts while posting a 2.95 GAA and .919 SV%. Overall he went 3-2-1 with a 2.29 GAA and .929 SV% in January and draws a great matchup to start February—Montreal comes into play having gone 1-6-1 in their last eight.

Head coach Jack Capuano has ruled Boychuk out for tonight’s game. He said that Boychuk could be back on Thursday, but Saturday is more likely.

Berube spent the All-Star break on a conditioning stint with Bridgeport (AHL) and he excelled, going 4-1-0 with a 1.25 GAA and .960 SV%. He is fresh after playing all week, so the Islanders will roll with the hot hand in their first game back. Berube allowed four goals on 34 shots in a loss to Chicago in his NHL debut back in October.

Anderson allowed three goals on 22 shots in the Senators loss to the Sabres last Tuesday. Anderson has won three of his last five and finished January at 4-5-0 with a2.78 GAA and .908 SV%. Anderson and the Senators have not had a great year, but this is where they got hot last season. Their post-All-Star Game stretch starts tonight in Pittsburgh.

Neuvirth suffered a lower-body injury in Monday’s practice and will miss at least one week. With Neuvirth out, Anthony Stolarz has been recalled and he will backup Steve Mason.

Elliott allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Blues loss in Chicago on January 24th. With Jake Allen out, Elliott went 5-2-3 with a 2.08 GAA and .937 SV% in January. He was lights out and will continue to start every game until Allen returns, which starts tonight in Nashville. Elliott is 5-4-3 with a 2.11 GAA and .929 SV% on the road this season.

Stuart has been sidelined since November 10th and will miss even more time after undergoing back surgery. There is a good chance we will not see Stuart again this season.

Reinhart missed the last three games with an upper-body injury, but will be back on the Sabres’ top line on Wednesday. Reinhart has picked up 20 points (12G / 8A) in 47 games this season.

Deslauriers has been out since January 2nd with a lower-body injury, but will be back in the lineup on Wednesday. Deslauriers has averaged just 9:39 TOI and posted seven points (3G / 4A) in 38 games this season.

Gorges missed three games prior to the All-Star break, but is expected to be back in the lineup on Wednesday. Gorges has picked up just seven points (1G / 6A) in 45 games this season, so he is no where near the fantasy radar.

Paajarvi has missed the last seven games with an upper-body injury, but is expected to return to the lineup on Tuesday. Paajarvi skated on the Blues’ second line on Monday, so expect him to play with Paul Stastny and Vladimir Tarasenko. He has just five points (2G / 3A) in 32 games this season.

Ramo allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Flames loss to the Predators last Wednesday. Ramo will make his fifth consecutive start, but he has gone 1-3-0 with a 2.70 GAA and .912 SV% in his previous four. One of those starts came against the Hurricanes 11 days ago. That evening he was pulled after allowing three goals on 19 shots, but he will look for redemption against Carolina tonight.

Pickard allowed three goals on 38 shots in Colorado’s win in Los Angeles last Wednesday. Pickard will start his third consecutive game, having allowed a combined seven goals on 58 shots (.879 SV%) in his first two starts. He will face a Blackhawks team that lost three of four before the All-Star break.

Toews is battling an illness that kept him out of the All Star game and Monday’s practice. He will automatically miss Tuesday’s game due to a one-game suspension for missing the All-Star game but his status remains up in the air for the remainder of the week.

Ovechkin missed the All-Star game due to a nagging lower-body injury, so he has to serve a one-game suspension but is expected to return to the lineup on Thursday. With Ovechkin out, look for Stanislav Galiev to be back in the lineup tomorrow.

Boychuk has been out since December 31st, but was back at practice on Monday and could return on Tuesday. His status remains up in the air for Tuesday’s game. Monitor his status during the morning skate.

Merrill has missed the last four games with an arm injury and will miss at least one more week. With Merrill out, the Devils recalled Seth Helgeson from Albany (AHL).

Kronwall had his knee scoped on January 19th and was only expected to miss a minimum of two weeks. However, his movement to IR will keep him out of the lineup until at least February 14th.

Rattie has five points (3G / 2A) in 11 games with St. Louis this season. Rattie has had a great year at both levels, having recorded 25 points (9G / 16A) in 32 AHL games as well.
