Quick was the first goalie off at the Kings morning skate.

Quick made 24 saves on 25 shots in the Kings win over the Lightning on Sunday. Quick has won four consecutive games while posting a 1.72 GAA and .916 SV%. Quick has been excellent over the last month and tonight he will get another crack at the Blue Jackets, after losing to them in early-November. Quick is 4-2-1 with a 2.20 GAA and .926 SV% on the road.

Jonathan Quick
Lehtonen was the first goalie off the ice for the Stars.

Lehtonen stopped 14 of 16 shots for an easy win in Vancouver last Thursday. Antti Niemi started on Friday, but it looks like it will be Lehtonen tonight vs. the Hurricanes. Lehtonen is an impressive 10-1-0 with a 2.37 GAA and .918 SV% on the year and will make his second start of the season vs. Carolina—he stopped 30 of 31 shots in a 4-1 win in November.

Kari Lehtonen
Luongo will be between the pipes on Monday vs. the Senators.

Luongo allowed four goals on 18 shots in the Panthers’ 4-2 loss to the Devils on Sunday. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Luongo, who will be making his 12th home start of the season tonight—he is 6-5-1 with a 2.29 GAA and .927 SV% in his first 11 starts at BB&T Center. He’ll face a Senators team that is 2-3-0 while averaging 2.60 goals per game in their last five.

Roberto Luongo
Johansson (undisclosed) will play Tuesday vs. the Red Wings.

Johansson was a late scratch on Saturday, but was on the ice for Tuesday’s morning skate and will play against the Red Wings. Johansson’s return means that Stanislav Galiev will be a healthy scratch and Andre Burakovsky will move to the fourth line. Johansson has 13 points (5G / 8A) in 24 games this season.

Marcus Johansson
Mason gets the nod Monday vs. the Islanders.

Mason allowed four goals on 34 shots in the Flyers 4-1 loss to the Blue Jackets on Saturday. It wasn’t a great outing for the former Blue Jacket, but the Flyers will stick with Mason tonight vs. the Islanders. Mason has just one win (1-4-3) with a 2.80 GAA and .915 SV% at home this season. He stopped 33 of 35 in a 3-1 loss to the Islanders earlier in the year.

Steve Mason
Bobrovsky starts Tuesday against the Kings.

Bobrovsky allowed one goal on 28 shots in the Blue Jackets 4-1 road win in Philadelphia on Saturday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Bobrovsky, who has gone 11-6-1 with a 1.90 GAA and .936 SV% in his last 18 games since starting 0-6-0. He’ll be in tough tonight vs. a Kings team that has won their last four games.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Holtby starts Tuesday vs. Detroit.

Holtby gave up two goals on 36 shots in the Capitals overtime loss in Winnipeg on Saturday. This game never even would have made it to OT if it weren’t for Holtby, who was sensational yet again. The loss snapped an eight-game winning streak—he now sits at 16-4-1 with a 1.95 GAA and .928 SV% on the season and is a must-start every night.

Braden Holtby
Kemppainen left Monday's game with an undisclosed injury and did not return.

Kemppainen left Monday’s game in the first period and did not return. The first year forward will not travel with the team to Montreal and is listed as day-to-day. Jimmy Hayes will work his way back into the lineup with Kemppainen out.

Joonas Kemppainen
Sparks will start Tuesday vs. the Devils.

Sparks turned aside 27 of 28 shots in the Maple Leafs 4-1 win in St. Louis on Saturday. It was a nice bounce-back game for Sparks, who was torched for six goals in his previous outing. Sparks now holds a 2-1-0 record, 2.34 GAA and .920 SV% in his first three NHL games. Tonight he faces a New Jersey team that is 4-4-2 in their last 10 and 19th in the NHL in scoring.

Garret Sparks
Ullmark will start Monday vs. the Canucks.

Ullmark allowed four goals on 46 shots in the Sabres shootout loss to the Red Wings last Tuesday. Chad Johnson started the last two games, including last night’s contest, so look for Ullmark to go tonight in Vancouver. He has a 2-0-2 record with a 2.16 GAA and .937 SV% on the road this season.

Linus Ullmark
Gustavsson leads the Bruins onto the ice for warmups.

Gustavsson was pulled after giving up three goals on 11 shots in the Bruins’ OT loss to the Flames on Friday. It was Gustavsson’s first bad game of the season and tonight it looks like they will give Tuukka Rask a night off as Gustavsson stars vs. the Predators. Nashville has been a funk for the last two and a half weeks, going 2-5-2 over their last nine.

Jonas Gustavsson
Ullmark is expected to start Monday in Vancouver.

The Sharks have activated Logan Couture (fibula) off of IR.

Couture has been out since October 13th because of a broken fibula, but he was activated from IR, which suggests that he will return to the lineup on Tuesday. The Sharks would not confirm that Couture would play vs. the Flames, so we will await word after Tuesday’s morning skate.

Logan Couture
Rinne will be in goal on Tuesday vs. the Blackhawks.

Rinne allowed five gaols on 36 shots in the Predators overtime loss in Detroit on Saturday. Carter Hutton got the nod last night, so Rinne will go tonight in Chicago. Rinne has lost six of his last seven starts and he has struggled on the road, going 3-4-3 with a 2.98 GAA and .887 SV% away from home this year.

Pekka Rinne
Crawford will in goal on Tuesday vs. the Predators.

The Lightning have sent Joel Vermin back to Syracuse (AHL).

Vermin had one assist in five games with the Lightning during his call-up, but his assignment to the AHL suggests that Ondrej Palat could be back in the lineup on Thursday. It could also be a paper move to save money because the Lightning had three days off in between games.
