Miller (lower-body) will not play on Monday.

Miller suffered a lower-body injury in Sunday’s win in Anaheim and will be out of the lineup on Monday. With Miller out, Joakim Andersson will be in the lineup. Miller could miss an extended period of time, but the severity of his injury has not been determined.

Quincey (ankle) will be back in the Red Wings lineup on Monday.

Quincey will be in the lineup for the first time since October 23rd. He underwent ankle surgery in late October and is expected to replace Alexey Marchenko in the lineup. Who he replaces has not been confirmed by Jeff Blashill, but Marcheko seems like the likely candidate. Quincey has one goal and two assists in seven games.

The Sabres have recalled Mark Pysyk from Rochester (AHL).

Pysyk hasn’t played since November 19th, because of a foot injury, but is back with the Sabres after a three-game conditioning stint with Rochester. During his time with the Americans, Pysyk has one assist. He could be back in the lineup on Tuesday.

Varlamov starts Tuesday vs. the Lightning.

Varlamov was yanked after allowing four goals on 20 shots in Colorado’s 6-3 loss to the Blackhawks on Sunday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Varlamov, who will start his seventh straight game tonight. In his first start vs. the Lightning, the 27-year-old made 34 saves in a 2-1 win back in October 29th.

Jones starts Monday in Calgary.

Jones stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the Sharks 7-0 shutout win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday. It was a must-needed performance for Jones, who is should signs of life recently after having a rough late-December. Tonight he starts in Calgary—Jones is 1-1-0 with a 3.61 GAA and .878 SV% vs. the Flames and 12-3-2 with a 2.22 GAA and .924 SV% on the road.

The Red Wings have sent Jakub Kindl to Grand Rapids (AHL).

Kindl, who cleared waivers on Sunday, has been assigned to Grand Rapids to clear roster space and cap-room to activate Kyle Quincey from IR. Kindl has shuffled in an out of the lineup this season, registering five points (2G / 3A) in 23 games.

Stastny (upper-body) is listed as day-to-day; not ruled out for Tuesday.

Stastny missed Sunday’s game, but his injury update was about the only good news the Blues received on Monday. He is day-to-day, but could play on Tuesday vs. the Devils. Monitor his status during the Blues’ morning skate.

Paajarvi is week-to-week with an undisclosed injury.

Paajarvi suffered an upper-body injury in Sunday’s win in Los Angeles. Paajarvi will miss at least a couple of weeks and forces the Blues to recall Ty Rattie from Chicago. Paajarvi has yet to find himself on the fantasy radar, having recorded just five points (2G / 3A) in 32 games.

Allen is week-to-week with a lower-body injury.

Allen who was injured in Saturday’s game in Anaheim and sat out Sunday’s contest. It wasn’t immediately clear how serious Allen’s injury was, but the Blues announced that he week-to-week, which means he will miss at least a few weeks. With Allen out, the Blues turn to Brian Elliott as their starter and Jordan Binnington as the backup. Elliott is 6-4-4 with a 2.33 GAA and .919 SV% this season.

Quick was the first goalie off of the ice at the Kings morning skate.

Quick made 15 saves on 16 shots in the Kings’ shootout loss to the Blues on Saturday. The loss snapped a six-game winning streak for Quick, who comes into Monday with a 23-9-2 record, 2.05 GAA and .925 SV% on the season. Tonight the Kings welcome the Red Wings to town, a team that Quick has struggled against in his career—he is 7-13-1 with a 2.96 GAA and .904 SV% in 21 starts vs. Detroit.

Yakupov (ankle) is expected to return to the Oilers lineup on Tuesday.

Yakupov has been out since November 25th, but it looks like he could return to the lineup on Tuesday. Yakupov, who was dealing with a high ankle sprain, has two goals and 10 assists (12 points) in 22 games this season. Monitor his status during the Oilers’ morning skate to be sure he returns to the lineup.

Matthias will take James van Riemsdyk's spot on the Maple Leafs' top line.

van Riemsdyk will miss the next 6-8 weeks, so Matthias will get the first crack on the Maple Leafs’ top line with Tyler Bozak and P.A Parenteau. Matthias has just 12 points (3G / 9A) in 39 games this season.

Scheifele (undisclosed) will not play on Tuesday.

Scheifele was a scratch in Sunday’s game vs. the Sabres and will miss five-to-seven days with an undisclosed injury. With Scheifele out, Anthony Peluso is expected to remain in the lineup. Don’t expect to see Scheifele for the rest of the week.

Lindberg will be a healthy scratch on Monday.

Lindberg has played just over 10 minutes in each of the last two games, but has one goal, one assist and is a plus-4 in those contests. Despite some solid numbers recently, he will sit in favour of Chris Kreider, who is returning from a hand injury.

Kreider has missed the last two games with a laceration on his hand, but he will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Bruins. Kreider will replace Oscar Lindberg and skate on the third line. He has 18 points (6G / 12A) in 39 games this season.

Ramo will make his 12th consecutive start on Monday.

Ramo allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Flames loss to the Coyotes on Thursday. The Flames had three days off, so Ramo got a much-needed rest prior to tonight’s game vs. the Sharks. Ramo has won four of his last seven starts while posting an impressive 1.59 GAA and .941 SV%. Ramo comes into play at 10-5-0 on home ice.

Rask was the first goalie off of the ice at the Bruins morning skate.

Rask allowed two goals on 40 shots in the Bruins overtime loss in Ottawa on Saturday. Rask has lost five his last six starts while posting a 2.84 GAA and .906 SV%, but draws a nice matchup tonight vs. a struggling Rangers team. Henrik Lundqvist has had a tough go as of late and Rask has been great on the road—7-2-3 / 1.85 GAA / .940 SV%.
