The Blues have recalled Chris Butler from Chicago (AHL).

Butler has recorded 10 points (2G / 8A) in 27 games with the Wolves this season. He didn’t have a point in two games with the Blues earlier this season, but it looks like he could get another chance with Jay Boumeester out. Butler has 13 goals and 71 assists (84 points) in 384 career NHL games.

The Blues have recalled Ty Rattie from Chicago (AHL).

Rattie, 22, leads Chicago in points with 23 (9G / 14A) in 29 games this season. His recall suggests that Paul Stastny is going to remain out of the lineup for the next little bit. Rattie has two assists in five games with the Blues this season.

Ty Rattie
The Maple Leafs have recalled Josh Leivo from Toronto (AHL).

Leivo has 30 points (11G / 19A) in 35 games with the Marlies this season. He has not played a game with the leads this season, but has two goals and one assist in 16 career NHL games. Leivo will likely be in the lineup on Wednesday with James van Riemsdyk out for the nest month and a half.

Josh Leivo
Markstrom starts Monday vs. the Panthers.

Markstrom allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Canucks loss to the Lightning on Saturday. Since taking over for the injured Ryan Miller, Markstrom has gone 4-2-1 with a 2.23 GAA and .927 SV% in seven straight starts. Tonight he starts vs. his former team at Rogers Arena—Markstrom is 3-4-1 with a 2.70 GAA and .906 SV% on home ice this season.

Jacob Markstrom
van Riemsdyk will miss 6-8 weeks with a non-displaced fracture in his left foot.

van Riemsdyk suffered the injury in Saturday’s blowout loss in San Jose. JVR leads the Maple Leafs in points with 29 (14G / 15A), but they’ll be without him for at least the next six weeks. Six weeks would have him returning in time for their game on February 23rd vs. Nashville—which means he’ll miss the next 17 games.

James van Riemsdyk
Lundqvist will start Monday vs. the Bruins.

Lundqvist allowed four goals on 31 shots in the Rangers loss to the Capitals on Saturday. Lundqvist has gone 3-2-1 with a 3.03 GAA and .880 SV% in his last six games. Overall, Lundqvist has 2.54 GAA, which is the highest goals against average of his NHL career. Tonight he’ll face the Bruins for the second time this season—he allowed four goals on 34 shots in a 4-3 loss in the first meeting.

Henrik Lundqvist
Gibson leads the Ducks onto the ice for warmups.

Gibson allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Ducks win over the Blues on Friday. Gibson has been victorious in five of his last six starts while posting a 1.56 GAA and .933 SV%. He draws a difficult matchup against a Red Wings team that has won the first three games of their current six-game road trip.

John Gibson
Kuemper will start Sunday vs. the Devils.

Kuemper allowed one goal on 25 shots in the Wild’s win over the Canadiens on December 22nd. Kuemper missed the last seven games with a concussion, but he will be back in goal tonight vs. the Devils. Kuemper has gone 3-0-1 with a 1.97 GAA and .936 SV% on home ice this season.

Darcy Kuemper
Scheifele (lower-body) is not on the ice for warmups; will not play vs. Sabres.

Scheifele was listed as a game-time decision, but is not on the ice for warmups, so he will be scratched for the fifth time in the last eight games. With Scheifele out, look for Anthony Peluso to be back in the lineup. Consider Scheifele as day-to-day.

Mark Scheifele
Hellebuyck leads the Jets onto the ice for warmups.

Hellebuyck allowed a single goal on 24 shots in the Jets shootout loss in Dallas on Thursday. Helleybuyck has gone 2-0-1 while allowing just three goals on 96 shots (.969 SV%) in his last three starts. Hellebuyck draws an excellent matchup this afternoon vs. the Sabres on home ice—Hellebuyck is 6-1-0 with 1.84 GAA and .940 SV% at the MTS Centre this season.

Connor Hellebuyck
Talbot starts Sunday vs. the Panthers.

Talbot gave up three goals on 26 shots in the Oilers loss to the Lightning Friday. The loss snapped a brief two-game winning streak for Talbot, who is now 2-1-0 with a 1.93 GAA and .933 SV% to start January. He draws a terrible matchup vs. the NHL’s hottest team—the Panthers come in having won 11 in a row while averaging 3.46 goals per game.

Cam Talbot
Schneider will start Sunday in Minnesota.

Schneider allowed four goals on 31 shots in the Devils loss to the Bruins on Friday. He has dropped his last three starts while posting a 2.36 GAA and .909 SV%. It has been a tough start to 2016 for Schneider, who will start in Minnesota tonight—he is 10-5-2 with a 2.04 GAA and.934 SV% on the road this season.

Cory Schneider
Hellebuyck is expected to start vs. the Sabres this afternoon.

Ullmark starts in Winnipeg this afternoon.

Ullmark allowed four goals on 26 shots in the Sabres loss to the Panthers on Tuesday. Ullmark has not won since December 12th, losing his last four starts while posting a 2.57 GAA and .906 SV%. He gets the nod this afternoon on Winnipeg—Ullmark comes in at 2-1-2 with a 2.71 GAA and .920 SV% on the road this season.

Linus Ullmark
Hammond starts Sunday vs. the Capitals.

Hammond allowed two goals on 38 shots in the Senators win over the Blues last Saturday. Craig Anderson started the first two games this week, but Hammond will start in the second game of the back-to-back. He draws a rough matchup vs. the Capitals, who are also on a back-to-back. Hammond is 2-2-1 with a 2.19 GAA and .936 SV% on the road.

Andrew Hammond
Crawford gets the nod on Sunday vs. the Avalanche.

Crawford stopped 28 of 29 shots in the Blackhawks win over the Sabres on Friday. Crawford has won four straight games while posting a 1.97 GAA and .938 SV%. Crawford has lost his only start against Colorado this season, but he is an impressive 14-5-1 with a 1.55 GAA and .947 SV% on home ice this season.
