

Tokarski turned aside 25 of 26 shots in the Canadiens’ 3-1 victory over the Senators last Saturday. Tokarski has stopped 51 of 55 shots (.921 SV%) in two starts and will make his third consecutive start on Tuesday vs. the Sharks. With Mike Condon struggling, Tokarski is getting a chance to show his worth—he will take on a San Jose team that has lost six straight games while averaging just 1.5 goals per game.

Bernier posted three consecutive shutouts to start his conditioning stint with the Marlies, but ended it with a stinker, allowing five goals in an overtime loss on Sunday. He finished his time in the AHL with a 3-0-1 record, 1.25 GAA and .948 SV%. He returns to the Maple Leafs in search of his first NHL win of the season—his first start comes against a banged up Lightning team that has still managed to win four of their last six.

Holtby stopped 35 of 36 shots in the Capitals’ win in Tampa Bay on Saturday. Another night, another great outing for Holtby, who has now won 10 of his last 11 starts. Tonight he will take on a Penguins team that has last five of their last seven games and will play their first game under a new head coach. Holtby allowed two goals on 24 shots in a 3-1 loss in their first meeting.


Quick allowed two goals on 42 shots in the Kings win in Pittsburgh last Friday. Jhonas Enroth started on Saturday, but it looks like it will be Quick tonight in Ottawa. Quick has won six straight starts while posting a 1.77 GAA and .926 SV%. Quick is one of the hottest goalies in the NHL and draws a strong matchup against Senators team who has lost three of four.

Ramo allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Flames win over the Sharks last Tuesday. Ramo lost a couple of starts to Jonas Hiller because of an illness, but is set to start tonight in Nashville. He comes in having won his last three starts with a 2.89 GAA and .910 SV%. The Predators come into play having lost six of their last nine contests.

Johnson gave up four goals on 32 shots in the Sabres loss in Calgary last Thursday. Johnson has lost two straight games while allowing a combined eight goals on 60 shots (.867 SV%). Linus Ullmark was in goal on Saturday and the last time they faced the Red Wings, but it will be Johnson tonight in Detroit.



Bishop allowed two goals on 20 shots in the Lightning’s loss to the Capitals on Saturday. Bishop has gone 3-1-0 with a 1.59 GAA and .945 SV% in the month of December. Bishop has been excellent this season, posting a 12-9-2 record, 1.96 GAA and .930 SV%. He has been the Lightning’s most consistent player behind a team riddled by injuries.



Talbot allowed four goals on 32 shots in the Oilers’ loss in Detroit on November 27th. Anders Nilsson has started the last seven games, but Talbot will go tonight in Boston. Talbot has lost his last four starts while posting a 4.06 GAA and .864 SV%, but a lengthy break could be exactly what Talbot needed.




Anderson was pulled after allowing three goals on 31 shot in the Senators loss in Montreal on Saturday. Anderson has gone 3-4-0 with a 2.97 GAA and .913 SV% in seven starts this month and tonight he will make No. 8. Tonight he takes on a Kings team that has won six of their last seven games entering play on Monday.

Korpisalo will make his NHL debut tonight vs. the Lightning. The 21-year-old was recalled after Sergei Bobrovsky was injured and after sitting two games as the backup, he will get in tonight. Korpisalo went 5-4-2 with a 2.12 GAA and .928 SV% in 11 games with Lake Erie (AHL) before being called up.

Fleury allowed two goals on 40 shots in the Penguins shootout loss against the Kings on Friday. Fleury has now lost three of his last four starts despite posting an impressive 1.98 GAA and .934 SV%. Tonight will be his first start under new head coach Mike Sullivan—it comes against a Capitals team that is fifth in the NHL in scoring (2.96 G/PG).
