Brodeur practicing in the starter's crease this morning.

Brodeur gave up two goals on 27 shots in a shootout loss to the Coyotes last Thursday. He has lost four straight started while giving up 10 goals on 116 shots (.914 SV%). You can't pin these losses on Marty, the Devils have been shutout in two of the four and have only totalled four goals. Brodeur enters play tonight with a 8-7-4 record, 2,34 GAA and .907 SV% at Prudential Center this season.

Martin Brodeur
The Devils have recalled Adam Larsson from Albany (AHL) on an emergency basis.

Larsson has only one goal and two assists in 20 games with the Devils this season. While in the AHL he has registered 19 points (3G / 16A) in 32 games. The Devils have a couple of defensemen who are banged up, thus the Larsson recall.

Adam Larsson
The Sens have recalled JG Pageau from Binghamtom (AHL).

Pageau, 21, has appeared in 21 games with Ottawa this season, registering two points (two goals) and 10 penalty minutes. In 44 AHL games this season, Pageau has recorded 17 goals and 24 assists for 41 points. He could get into the lineup tonight vs. Carolina because Colin Greening is battling an undisclosed injury.

Jean-Gabriel Pageau
Toews is day to day with an upper-body injury after he absorbed a hard hit in Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Toews was drilled by Penguins defenceman Brooks Orpik with 6:30 remaining in the second period on Sunday night. The two were going for a loose puck. Toews got up slowly and was seen holding his left arm on the bench before heading down the runway. Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville says he doesn't think the injury is serious, but the team would know more on Monday.

Jonathan Toews
Ellis starts Monday vs. New Jersey.

Ellis allowed three goals on 18 shots in a loss to the Canadiens on Saturday. He has yet to win a game while posting a 4.36 GAA and .841 SV% with Florida. It is tough to warrant Ellis as a spot-start in the fantasy playoffs, regardless of the strong matchup.

Dan Ellis
Grigorenko will play for the Rochester Americans, three months after the first-round pick briefly refused a demotion to junior hockey.

Grigorenko initially refused to report to Quebec, preferring to develop in Rochester of the AHL. An agreement between the NHL and the CHL does not allow teenagers to play in the AHL. With the Remparts’ season over, Grigorenko is allowed to play in the AHL. Grigorenko has dominated at major junior level, scoring 178 points over parts of three seasons with Quebec. He had 48 points in 28 games for the Remparts after his demotion.

Mikhail Grigorenko

Ben Scrivens
