Bieksa left Thursday's game after suffering an ankle injury in the second period and did not return.

Bieksa was hurt in a collision with Avalanche forward Gabriel Landeskog along the side-boards. He was unable to put any weight on his right leg as he left the ice. There is no report if Bieksa is expected to miss any time, but the Canucks have recalled Frank Corrado, which suggests that he will.

Kevin Bieksa
Mitchell (back) will be back in the lineup on Saturday.

Mitchell has missed the last four games after a frightening collision with the boards that turned Mitchell into a human lawn-chair on March 18th. Mitchell is still sore but ready to go, after a week of having trouble getting out of bed and getting into a car. He will return to the third line, and the Avs will go back to 12 forwards and four complete lines.

John Mitchell
Scrivens will be in goal for the Oilers Friday.

Scrivens surrendered five goals on 34 shots in a 5-2 loss to the Sharks on Tuesday. Well it was tough to expect him to repeat that 59-save shutout from the first time he faced San Jose, but five goals against will do some damage to your GAA. He has lost three in a row while giving up 11 goals and tonight faces a tough Ducks team.

Ben Scrivens
Miller will be in goal for the Blues on Saturday.

Miller made 27 saves on 28 shots in Thursday's 5-1 blowout win over the Wild. After losing two in a row, Miller has bounced back with two straight victories. Life in a Blues uniform has been pretty easy for Miller. He is seeing an average of 24.25 shots per game compared to the 35.28 he saw in Buffalo. Miller is 0-1-1 with a 3.44 GAA and .881 SV% vs. the Stars this season (1 with BUF).

Ryan Miller
Hackett will return to the Sabres crease on Saturday.

Hackett was pulled after allowing four goals on 15 shots in a 6-1 loss to the Predators on Thursday. Despite the rough outing head coach Ted Nolan will go back to Hackett on Saturday vs. Tampa Bay. He has posted a 3.02 GAA and .919 SV% in his first three starts with Buffalo. It won't be an easy night with Steven Stamkos and the boys in town.

Matthew Hackett
Hiller is the confirmed Ducks starter.

Hiller allowed two goals on 34 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 victory over the Flames. It was a nice way for Hiller to get redemption after he was shelled in his last outing vs. Calgary. He comes into play tonight having won three of four with a 2.77 GAA and .917 SV%.

Jonas Hiller
Hiller first goalie off of the ice at the Ducks morning skate.

No surprise, Lundqvist starts vs. the Flames.

Lundqvist allowed one goal on 31 shots in a 3-1 win over the Flyers on Wednesday. The King has won five in a row while holding his opponents to nine goals on 138 shots (.935 SV%). He will look to keep that hotstreak going tonight in Calgary.

Henrik Lundqvist
Lundqvist is expected to get the nod for the Rangers.

Ramo starts for the Flames.

Ramo gave up three goals on 34 shots in a loss to the Ducks on Wednesday. Ramo has stopped 88 of the 93 shots (.946 SV%) while going 2-1-0 in his first three starts since returning from a sprained MCL. Tonight, he starts vs. a Rangers squad who have won five in a row while outscoring their opponents 20-9.

Karri Ramo
Kreider is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery on his hand Friday.

No surprise, that the original TSN report ends up being spot on. The original details from the Rangers were very vague, but now that Kreider has officially had the surgery it is safe to assume that he will miss the rest of the regular season and likely part of the playoffs.

Chris Kreider
Schneider starts Saturday vs. the Islanders.

Schneider stopped 21 of 23 shots in a win over the Maple Leafs on Sunday. It was the first time that Schneider has won back to back starts since January 21/24. Despite a solid 2.14 GAA (5th) and .914 SV% (t-23rd), Schneider sits at 14-14-9 on the season. He will face an Isles team who are surprisingly playing good hockey with a makeshift lineup.

Cory Schneider
Scrivens expected to start in goal for the Oilers.

Howard starts on Saturday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Howard allowed five goals on 29 shots in a 5-4 loss to the Canadiens on Thursday. Howie was unable to come up with the key saves late in the game as the Wings and Habs opened it up beer league style in the third period. He has lost three in a row while giving up 12 goals, but will need to bring his A-game tonight in a massive contest vs. the Maple Leafs.

Jimmy Howard
The Senators have sent Nathan Lawson back to Binghamton (AHL).

Lawson made two saves on 10 shots in a releif effort on March 18th, but that was the only action he saw during his recall. With Craig Anderson back in the crease tonight and Robin Lehner feeling no ill effects from the ailment he suffered in practice recently, the Senators elected to send Lawson back to the AHL.

Weiss (sports hernia) skated today for the first time in 10 days.

Weiss says he is feeling better, but there is no way of knowing when he will be ready. Weiss has reportedly been nearing a return a few times this season, but countless setbacks have really destroyed his first season with the Red Wings.

Stephen Weiss
Yakupov (ankle) took part in the Oilers' morning skate but will not play Friday.

Yakupov will miss his fifth straight game with an ankle fracture. His participation in the morning skate is a sign that he is close to returning, but the Oilers are not going to risk him getting more injured in a lost season. We could see him on Sunday vs. the Rangers.

Nail Yakupov
Belov IN; Mark Fraser OUT.

Belov has not played since February 27th. He missed a few weeks with an oblique injury but was declared healthy for last Saturday, but served as a healthy scratch in the last two games. He has six points (1G / 5A) with a minus-14 rating and 32 penalty minutes in 48 games this season.

Grabovski (ankle) will not play on Saturday.

Grabovski said earlier in the week that he believes that he is ready to go, but obviously the medical and coaching staffs disagree. With a back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday, the Capitals might just be saving him for Sunday so that he does not play on consecutive nights. Monitor his status on Sunday.

Mikhail Grabovski
