Hutchinson stopped all seven shots that he faced after replacing an injured Ondrej Pavelec in Saturday’s win over the Coyotes. Pavelec will miss at least six weeks with a knee injury, so Hutchinson could take the No. 1 job and run with it. However, he will need to outplay prospect Connor Hellebuyck. Varlamov has been out since November 10th with a groin injury, but will return to the crease tonight. After posting a 3.26 GAA and .890 SV% in his first 10 games, he had fallen behind Reto Berra, but Berra has struggled in his last three games, so Varlamov could reclaim his job as the Avs’ No. 1 goalie with a couple of strong outings.

Ramo stopped 18 of 19 shots in the Flames win over the Blackhawks last Friday. Ramo has won three of his last four while posting a 1.99 GAA and .930 SV%. Overall he has a 3.04 GAA and .901 SV% on the year, but that has translated into a 6-7-0 record. On Tuesday he will take on a Ducks team that continues to struggle, having lost five of their last seven.

Langhamer was an emergancy call-up to serve as Anders Lindback’s backup on the weekend, but with Mike Smith still out, they’ve recalled Louis Domingue, who is a more NHL-ready goalie, to replace Langhamer.

Domingue, 23, has posted a 5-3-1 record, 2.43 GAA and .918 SV% in nine games with Springfield this season. With Mike Smith nursing a lower-body injury, Domingue has been recalled to serve as their No. 2 until Smith is healthy.

Quick was pulled after allowing four goals on 21 shots in the Kings loss in Carolina on Sunday afternoon. Despite struggling yesterday, Quick will go again tonight in Florida. Quick has gone 2-4-0 with a 3.00 GAA and .888 SV% in seven starts this month. One of his wins came against the Panthers, who he will face tonight.

Demers was injured in Saturday’s game vs. the Sabres, but is expected to play on Tuesday. Demers has been solid for the Stars this season, posting 10 points (4G / 6A) in 19 games. Monitor his status in the Stars’ morning skate.

Fedun did not appear in a game during his call-up. He heads back to Utica where he has six points (2G / 4A) in 14 games this season.

Pedan, 22, was a third round pick (63 rd overall) of the Islanders in 2011. He has seven points (1G / 6A) in 15 games with Utica this season. With Ben Hutton out for at least two weeks, Pedan will serve as the Canucks’ seventh defenseman and could make his NHL debut sometime in the near future.

Hudler missed Friday's game because of an illness, but he was back on the ice for practice on Monday, which is a good sign that Hudler will be available for Tuesday's game in Anaheim.

Bortuzzo served as a healthy scratch on Saturday, but will be back in the lineup tonight in Buffalo. Joel Edmundson will come out of the lineup to make room for Bortuzzo.

Edmundsson will become a healthy scratch with Robert Bortuzzo being reinserted into the Blues lineup on Monday.

With Paul Stastny (foot) returning to the lineup on Monday, Gomez will take a seat tonight in Buffalo.

Anderson stopped all 36 shots that he faced in the Senators’ 4-0 shutout win over the Flyers on Saturday. Anderson has now posted back-to-back shutouts, stopping a combined 61 shots. On Tuesday, he will have a difficult time extending that streak to three when he takes on the NHL’s second highest scoring team, Dallas, who is averaging 3.52 goals per game.

Pavelec, who was placed on IR this morning, is expected to be out through December. There was no concrete timetable given, but he will miss at least the entire month of December and could be out through January as well. With Pavelec out, the Jets will turn to Michael Hutchinson and Connor Hellebuyck as their goaltending duo.

Allen allowed four goals on 32 shots in the Blues OT loss to Detroit on Saturday. Allen has started eight of 10 games in November, posting a 5-2-1 record, 2.09 GAA and .931 SV% in the process. Tonight will be his 15th start of the season and it comes with a great matchup in Buffalo. He stopped 32 of 34 shots in a 3-2 shootout win over Buffalo last Thursday.

Wennberg has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury but returned to practice this afternoon. Wennberg was not given a timetable when he got hurt , but his return to practice this morning suggests that he could be back later this week.

Dubinsky has missed the last six games with an elbow injury, but he was back on the ice with his teammates on Monday afternoon. He is about 10 days into a 2-3 week timetable, so there’s a chance he could return at the front-end of that timeframe and play this week.
