Luongo gets the start against the Coyotes.

Luongo stopped 52 of 54 shots in a win over the Sharks on Tuesday. What a display of goaltending from the former Canuck. The last time he was in Phoenix, he was slated to start, but was traded to Florida prior to puck-drop. There is no chance that happens tonight as he gets set to face the Coyotes. Lu is 3-2-1 with a 2.48 GAA and .928 SV% with the Panthers.

Ortio will be in net for the Flames on Friday.

Ortio stopped 13 of 14 shots in a 3-1 win over the Sabres on Tuesday. Karri Ramo and Reto Berra combined for a 20-26-7 record before Ortio was recalled. Since the 22-year-old has arrived in Calgary he has gone 4-4-0 with a 2.16 GAA and .906 SV%. On a sub-par Flames team, you can't start him every night, but on night's like tonight with strong matchups, he is a reasonable goalie-2.

The Ducks have recalled Emerson Etem from Norfolk (AHL).

With Cam Fowler and Nick Bonino out with injuries, the Ducks have recalled Etem and Rickard Rakell. Etem has registered seven goals and four assists (11 points) in 28 games with the Ducks this season. While with Norfolk he has 42 points (16G / 26A) in 39 games.

Emerson Etem
The Lightning have signed free agent forward Cody Kunyk to a one year, two-way NHL contract.

Kunyk, 23, skated in 37 games for the University of Alaska-Fairbanks Nanooks this season, posting 22 goals and 43 points to go along with 22 penalty minutes and a plus-13 rating. The 5-foot-11, 197-pound forward led the Nanooks in goals, points, power-play goals (six) and shorthanded goals (two). Kunyk was named the WCHA’s Player of the Year and to the First Team All-WCHA team. He also led the WCHA for scoring during the 2013-14 season.

Lundqvist will be in goal for the Rangers on Friday.

Lundqvist allowed four goals on 39 shots in a 8-4 win over the Senators on Tuesday. The win broke the all-time Rangers' win record with 302. Lundqvist will look for career win 303 and 27th on the season tonight in Columbus. He comes in tonight at 0-1-1 with a 4.76 GAA and .885 SV% vs. the Jackets this season.

Henrik Lundqvist
Niemi will be between the pipes for the Sharks.

Niemi gave up three goals on 24 shots in a loss to the Panthers on Tuesday. After Niemi won his previous five starts, it was a shocking loss to a bad team. He will get back in the crease tonight with the Ducks in town. Niemi has gone 2-1-0 with a 3.26 GAA and .906 SV% against Anaheim this season.

Antti Niemi
No surprise, Smith will be in goal for the Coyotes.

Smith allowed three goals on 39 shots in a win over the Kings on Monday. He has won four of his last five starts while allowing 11 goals on 153 shots (.928 SV%). Smith has gone 6-3-0 with a 2.22 GAA and .925 SV% in March and makes for a strong start tonight against the Panthers.

Mike Smith
Ramo (knee) was a full participant at Flames' practice this morning.

Ramo had been skating on his own, but participated in his first full practice this morning since suffering an MCL sprain on February 2nd. This is a strong indicator that he is nearing a return. He will likely slide in as Joni Ortio's backup when he gets back.

Karri Ramo
Quick was the first goalie off of the ice this morning.

Quick allowed four goals on 27 shots in a loss to the Coyotes on Monday. He has lost each of his last two starts while allowing seven goals on 56 shots (.875 SV%). Tonight, he will take on a Capitals team who have won three in a row while outscoring their opponents 11-7.

Jonathan Quick
Scrivens will be in goal for the Oilers.

Scrivens stopped 29 of 30 shots in a win over the Hurricanes on Sunday. Scrivens and Viktor Fasth have really locked-down the Oilers crease since arriving in Edmonton. Scrivens comes into play tonight at 6-6-0 with a 2.50 GAA and .932 SV% with the Oilers. He is a great start tonight with the Sabres in town.

Ben Scrivens
Datsyuk (knee) will be re-evaluated next week.

The Red Wings announced on March 5th that they would shut Datsyuk down for three weeks. Next Wednesday (26th) will mark the three-week point, so he will be re-evaluated next week and decide what to do with him after that. Datsyuk hasn’t played or been on the ice since February 27.
