Datsyuk (knee) will be re-evaluated next week.

The Red Wings announced on March 5th that they would shut Datsyuk down for three weeks. Next Wednesday (26th) will mark the three-week point, so he will be re-evaluated next week and decide what to do with him after that. Datsyuk hasn’t played or been on the ice since February 27.

Pavel Datsyuk
Teravainen is scheduled to arrive in Chicago from Finland on Thursday, but he is not expected to join the team immediately.

The 19-year-old Teravainen is considered the organization's top prospect. He completed his season in Finland on Sunday when his team, Jokerit, was eliminated from the playoffs in the Liiga. He finished tied for sixth in the league with 44 regular-season points. He had nine goals and 35 assists in 49 games. The Blackhawks may choose to be careful in rushing Teravainen to the NHL to give him time to adjust to being in the United States and reduce any high expectations placed on him right away. However, the injury to Patrick Kane last night, could open the door for Teravainen.

Teuvo Teravainen
Head coach Jon Cooper would not confirm, but hinted that Bishop would be back in goal tonight.

Bishop stopped 36 of 39 shots in a win over the Maple Leafs last night. After losing four in a row, Bishop has now won his last four earning him the start on back-to-back nights. He will face a Senators team who's playoff hopes are dwindling after losing four in a row and six of seven.

Ben Bishop
Fleury starts in Detroit.

Fleury was pulled from Sunday's loss to the Flyers after allowing three goals on 15 shots in the first 13 minutes of play. The goals were not Fleury's fault at all, the Pens were awful in front of him, he actually played very well. Tonight, he will take on a Red Wings team looking to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Ranger was discharged from hospital last night after a scary hit-from-behind incident in the loss to the Lightning.

Ranger was crunched from behind by Lightning forward Alex Kilorn on Wednesday night. Ranger had to be stretchered off of the ice, but was alert and discharged from the hospital. He is still likely dealing with concussion-like symptoms, but it is great news that he avoided a serious injury.

Thomas was the first goalie off of the ice at the Stars morning skate.

Thomas allowed four goals on 17 shots before being pulled on Sunday. He has a 3.32 GAA and .892 SV% in his first four appearances with the Stars. Tonight it looks like he will get the call against the Flyers after Kari Lehtonen allowed five on Tuesday. Philly has won three in a row and six of their last eight.

Gustavsson (groin) will return as Jimmy Howard's backup Thursday.

Gustavsson has missed the last five games with a groin injury, but will return to his back-up role tonight. The Red Wings are going to lean on Jimmy Howard down the stretch, but should he falter, Gustavsson will be there to pick up the slack.

Jonas Gustavsson
Lehner gets his fourth straight start for the Senators.

Lehner was yanked after allowing five goals on 28 shots in Tuesday's 8-4 loss to the Rangers. Lehner has allowed 13 goals in three starts since Craig Anderson went down with an injury. He should be avoided again tonight when he takes on a Lightning team who's captain, Steven Stamkos is firing on all cylinders.

Robin Lehner
Bryzgalov gets his second straight start for Minnesota.

Bryzgalov stopped all 36 shots that he faced in a 6-0 win over the Islanders on Tuesday. It was Bryzgalov's first win as a member of the Wild. The strong outing has earned him the start tonight in Zach Parise's return to New Jersey. It is another good matchup vs. a Devils team who have lost three in a row.

Ilya Bryzgalov
Mason making his 9th start in last 10 games vs. Dallas tonight.

Mason allowed three goals on 23 shots in a win over the Penguins on Sunday. He won each game of the back-to-back vs. Pittsburgh over the weekend and that earned him Tuesday night off. He will be back in goal vs. the Stars tonight. He was pulled after allowing four goals on 26 shots in the first two periods the last time he faced Dallas.

Steve Mason
The Senators have recalled Andrew Hammond from Binghamton (AHL).

With Craig Anderson (undisclosed) still not ready to suit up tonight, Hammond has been recalled. There is no word on if the Senators pan to start him tonight, or stick with the struggling Robin Lehner.

Andrew Hammond
Mason is in the 'starter's crease' this morning; expected to start.

Steve Mason
Howard back in goal for Detroit.

Howard allowed two goals on 33 shots in a 3-2 win over the Maple Leafs on Tuesday. It was a huge win for Howie and the Red Wings. It is the type of performance the Wings need to continue that 22-year playoff streak. Tonight, he will be in tough with Sidney Crosby and the Penguins in MoTown.

Jimmy Howard
Price starts for the Canadiens.

Price stopped 25 of 28 shots in Tuesday's 6-3 victory against the Avalanche. Despite allowed seven goals in two games since returning from a lower-body injury, Price sits at 2-0. Tonight, he faces the Blue Jackets who are sitting in the final Wild Card spot in the East. Price stopped 30 shots in a 5-3 win over the Jackets in October.

Carey Price
Bogosian (upper-body) was a late scratch in Wednesday's win over the Avalanche.

Head coach Paul Maurice does not believe the injury to Bogosian is serious and expects to have him back on Saturday. Despite not having Bogosian, Ondrej Pavelec and Dustin Byfuglien the Jets were able to squeak out a win over a tough Avs team. All three are expected to be back for Saturday.

Zach Bogosian
Kane will be out at least three weeks after sustaining a lower-body injury during the second period of Wednesday's win.

Kane could be in danger of missing the remainder of the regular season, which would be a huge blow to your fantasy roster. Kane's left leg was hit after teammate Sheldon Brookbank checked Blues forward Brendan Morrow to the ice along the boards. Morrow hit Kane's left leg and he fell awkwardly to the ice. The three-week mark would have him back on April 10th, with the regular season wrapping up on April 13th, it is tough to see him playing again before the playoffs.

Patrick Kane
Montoya leads the Jets onto the ice for warmups; he starts as expected.

Montoya allowed two goals on 25 shots in a loss to the Blues on Monday. Overall, he has stopped 41 of the last 47 shots (.872 SV%) in the last eight periods of hockey. He has a tough matchup tonight against the Avalanche.

Al Montoya
Hutton in goal for the Predators tonight.

Hutton allowed one goal on 25 shots in a win over the Sabres on March 11th and stopped all four shots he faced in relief of Pekka Rinne last night. Hutton is 1-0 vs. the Canucks this season and has gone 8-6-3 with a 2.95 GAA and .901 SV% on the road.
