Hendricks left Tuesday's game with a leg injury and did not return.

Hendricks was injured while blocking a Shea Weber blast last night. We all know how hard Weber can fire the puck, so you can imagine the pain. Consider him day-to-day until more details are known.

The Coyotes sent Andy Miele back to the AHL on Tuesday.

Miele has recorded two assists with five penalty minutes in seven games with the Coyotes this season. The 5-foot-9, 175-pound forward has also posted 23 goals, 34 assists and 60 PIM in 56 games with Portland (AHL).

The Blue Jackets have activated Jared Boll (ankle) from injured reserve.

Boll has been sidelined since early December after undergoing surgery to repaid a torn tendon in his ankle. Boll has registered 25 goals, 28 assists and 1,001 penalty minutes in 409 career games with the Jackets. He ranks second on the club’s all-time penalty minutes list (Jody Shelley, 1,025) and is one of six players to play in 400 or more games as a Blue Jacket.

Ericsson will likely miss two weeks with a broken finger.

Ericsson was the latest Red Wing to be injured in Tuesday's win over the Maple Leafs. Ericsson's broken finger could require surgery and GM Ken Holland estimates he will be out two weeks. The injury likely will prompt Babcock to move Danny DeKeyser to the top pairing with Niklas Kronwall, as he did earlier this season when Ericsson missed a total of 20 games with a separated shoulder and broken ribs.

Jonathan Ericsson
Reimer is not skating at the Maple Leafs optional practice this morning; usually indicates the starter.

Reimer allowed three goals on 31 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Red Wings last night. Randy Carlyle was not all that pleased with Reimer's performance, but the three goals all came on an odd-man rush or partial breakaway. Tonight, it looks he will face the Lightning at the ACC. He is 1-3-0 with a 3.31 GAA and .915 SV% in his last four outings.

James Reimer
Mitchell was taken to a hospital Tuesday night for X-rays on his back after a scary collision into the boards.

Mitchell was hurt after losing an edge on his skates while trying to check Montreal's Lars Eller. Mitchell slid back-first into the end boards and was down for a couple of minutes. Mitchell did skate off the ice under his own power, accompanied by a trainer. The Avs had no immediate word on the extent of the injury, although Mitchell did accompany the team to Winnipeg, where it will play Wednesday night. "We'll know more (Wednesday)," Avs coach Patrick Roy said.

John Mitchell
Murphy left Tuesday's game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Murphy was hit high by Blue Jackets forward Blake Comeau in the first period. He struggled to get to the bench and then went down the tunnel and did not return. Murphy is considered day-to-day until the Hurricanes release an update on his status. Justin Faulk, who missed yesterday's game with an illness, should slide back in the lineup for Murphy, with Mike Komisarek also staying in.

Ryan Murphy
The Penguins have sent Jayson Megna back to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Megna has skated in 26 games with Pittsburgh, tallying five goals and eight points. Megna appeared to be the better of the Penguins call-ups over the weekend, but after taking a seat as a healthy scratch on Tuesday, this move was pretty obvious.

Jayson Megna
Lehtonen starts for the Stars.

Lehtonen missed the last four games with a concussion, but was the first goalie off of the ice at the Stars morning skate in Pittsburgh. Lehtonen has gone 25-16-10 with a 2.47 GAA and .917 SV% this season. The first time he faced the Penguins, he posted a 24-save shutout. That night the Penguins were healthy, tonight they could be without Neal, Kunitz, Letang, Martin and more.

Kari Lehtonen
Khudobin starts for the Hurricanes.

Khudobin stopped 31 of 33 shots but was a tough-luck 2-1 loser vs. Edmonton on Sunday. Khudobin has stopped 152 of 165 shots (.921 SV%) in March, but that has only resulted in a 1-3-0 record. He will look to record his 15th win of the season tonight in Columbus. Khudobin has gone 1-1-0 with 2.50 GAA and .896 SV% vs. the Blue Jackets this season.

Anton Khudobin
Neal (concussion) is on the ice for warmups.

This is a good sign that he will be in the lineup tonight. If he was not cleared by doctors he likely would not be on the ice. We won't know for certain if he is in until right before puck-drop so make you have to make the call, but all signs pointing towards him being in.

James Neal
Kunitz (leg) is on the ice for warmups.

This is a good sign that he will be in the lineup tonight. If he was not cleared by doctors he likely would not be on the ice. We won't know for certain if he is in until right before puck-drop so make you have to make the call, but all signs pointing towards him being in.

Chris Kunitz
Coyotes head coach Dave Tippett has made it clear he intends to rely on Smith the rest of the way, but "he's gotta be physically ready to ride," he said.

The Coyotes have 13 games remaining including three back-to-back sets, and it sounds like if Smith is up for it, Tippett plans on starting him in all 13 contests. The Coyotes currently hold a two point advantage over the Stars for the final Wild Card spot, but Dallas also has two games in hand.

Mike Smith
Luongo starts in goal for the Panthers.

Luongo allowed three goals on 32 shots in a 4-3 shootout loss to his old team on Sunday. Lu was able to beat Cory Schneider on Friday, but he couldn't complete the sweep of his former crease-mates. Tonight, he gets the call vs. the Sharks and the scorching hot Antti Niemi. It is an ugly road matchup and on a night with 23 other goalies in action, I would take a peak at your other options.
