Sedin (back/finger) is not on the ice for Canucks practice.

Sedin missed the third period of Saturday's game and his absence at practice today puts his availability for tomorrow game in jeopardy. Monitor his status following Tuesday's morning skate.

Henrik Sedin
Sbisa is back on the ice with the Ducks after finishing his conditioning stunt with Norfolk.

Sbisa has been out since November 22 after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ligament in his hand. With his conditioning stint behind him, he should be ready to slide back into the lineup this week. The 23-year-old has one assist in nine games this season.

Luca Sbisa
Tyutin (illness) was back at practice today.

Tyutin missed the last two games with an illness but should draw back into the lineup on Tuesday vs. Los Angeles. Tyutin had a solid first day back, so he is expected to play tomorrow, however monitor his status following the gameday skate for confirmation.

Fedor Tyutin
Brunner (knee) is expected to be back on Tuesday.

Brunner has been out since December 20 because of a sprained MCL but was back on the ice skating on a regular line on Monday. He was skating with Patrik Elias and Dainius Zubrus so it looks like he will be back in tomorrow. The Swiss forward has 13 points (8G / 5A) in 32 games in his first season with the Devils.

Damien Brunner
Schneider starts on Tuesday.

Schneider allowed one goal on 38 shots in a tough-luck 2-1 shootout loss to the Avalanche on Thursday. It has been the story of Schneider's season, great goaltending with minimal goal support. He holds a 1.91 GAA and .924 SV% but those numbers have only translated into seven wins. His team will be hard-pressed to score on Tuesday when they face the Blues.

Cory Schneider
Niemi was the first goalie off at Sharks' morning skate.

Niemi allowed four goals on 29 shots, but managed to walk away with a 5-4 win over the Lightning on Saturday. All four goals came from Martin St. Louis in the first 30 minutes of the contest, but Niemi was able to shut the door for the remainder of the contest. Tonight he is a must-start with the Flames in town.

Antti Niemi
Tarasenko is questionable tonight because of the flu.

The Blues are in Detroit tonight, but they may be without Tarasenko who is currently fighting the flu. Tarasenko hasn't scored in his last four games but has totalled 15 goals and 14 assists (29 points) in 47 games this season. Adam Cracknell will draw into the lineup if Tarasenko can't play.

Vladimir Tarasenko
Russell (knee) will return to the Flames lineup tonight.

Russell has missed the last 13 games with a knee injury but will be back to face the Sharks tonight. HeRussell registered 16 points (4G / 12A) in 36 games before getting injured. Another impressive stat was his plus-1 rating, not bad for a team who gives up as many goals as the Flames.

Kris Russell
Stone will not be making the trip after suffering an injury in practice today.

Stone crashed into the boards in practice and left favouring one of his arms. He was playing on a line with Jason Spezza so someone will get a chance to play with the talented playmaker while Stone is out. Stone is staying back home to he re-evaluated and may join the team later.

Mark Stone
Anderson will start on Tuesday.

Anderson allowed four goals on 31 shots in a loss to the Rangers on Saturday. Despite allowing nine goals in back-to-back losses, the Senators will turn to Anderson on Tuesday. The decision probably has to do with Andy's 2-0-0 record with a 2.50 GAA and .926 SV% against the Capitals this season.

The WIld have recalled Johan Gustafsson from AHL Iowa.

Josh Harding is still out with an illness while Niklas Backstrom will be off of the ice for the next few days after receiving a cortisone shot for a nagging lower-body injury. Gustafsson has been recalled to back up Darcy Kuemper on Tuesday night in Dallas.

Johan Gustafsson
Backstrom will be off the ice for a few days because he had another injection in what coach Mike Yeo is calling "a nagging lower-body injury."

The Wild has recalled Johan Gustafsson from AHL Iowa to back up Darcy Kuemper on Tuesday night in Dallas.

Niklas Backstrom
Harding, who practiced all last week, didn't practice today because he's not feeling well again.

Harding has missed nine consecutive games and 13 of the past 15 games since having a "minor adjustment" to his treatment for multiple sclerosis. This is obviously bad news for Harding who appears to have taken a step-back in his recovery.

Kuemper will start on Tuesday.

Kuemper allowed two goals on 35 shots in a win over the Stars on Saturday. Kuemper is 4-1-0 with 1.37 GAA and .954 SV% since his recall and will face the Stars again on Tuesday. With Dallas in a huge slump right now Kuemper should make for another strong start.

Darcy Kuemper
Lehtonen starts vs. the Predators tonight.

Lehtonen allowed three goals on 19 shots in an OT loss to the Wild on Saturday. It was not the prettiest performance for Lehtonen who has now lost six of his last seven starts. Tonight he faces the Predators who he is 1-1-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .938 SV% against this season.

Kari Lehtonen
Clemmensen starts for the Panthers.

Clemmensen allowed one goal on 22 shots in a win over the Habs on December 29. He hasn't started in nearly one month and will draw a terrible matchup vs. the Penguins tonight. He is 5-4-1 with a 2.91 GAA and .894 SV% this season.

Scott Clemmensen
Hutton confirms he is starting tonight.

Hutton allowed three goals on 30 shots in a shootout win over the Flyers on Thursday. After Devan Dubnyk struggled in his Predators debut, they will turn back to Hutton tonight vs. Dallas. Hutton is 1-1-0 with a 2.50 GAA and .926 SV% against the Stars this season.
