Rask will start vs. the Ducks.

Rask stopped 36 of 37 shots in a 4-1 win over the Jets on Saturday. It was a great bounce back game for Rask after he had allowed eight goals in his two previous starts. The first time he faced the Ducks he stopped 21 of 23 shots in a 3-2 shootout win.

Tuukka Rask
Quick left the ice first, you know what that means... Wait until warmups, but he is your projected starter.

Quick stopped 27 of 28 shots in a 3-1 win over the Canucks on Saturday. It was Quick's first start since November 12 after missing nearly two months with a grade 2 groin strain. He would face the Wild for the first time since the season opener, when he stopped 27 of 29 shots in a 3-2 shootout win.

Jonathan Quick
Crawford starts on Wednesday.

Crawford stopped 40 of 42 shots in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Blackhawks on Sunday. He is still searching for his first win since returning from IR, but has posted a solid 2.38 GAA and .934 SV% in his first two starts back. Tonight he will take on a very inconsistent Rangers team who are 13-10-0 on the road.

Corey Crawford
The Canucks have recalled Darren Archibald from Utica (AHL).

Archibald has two assists in eight career NHL games, all of which have come this season with Vancouver. In the AHL he has 13 points (6G / 7A) in 24 games. Canucks head coach John Tortorella says that Archibald will be in the lineup tonight, but did not say who is coming out.

Darren Archibald
Higgins (illness) will be back in the lineup tonight, John Tortorella would not disclose who would come out.

Higgins missed Sunday's games against the Ducks, but will play tonight vs. Pittsburgh. Higgins has 23 points (11G / 12A) in 43 games. We likely won't know who comes out of the lineup until pre-game warmups.

Chris Higgins
Left wing Tanner Pearson was recalled has been recalled by the Los Angeles Kings.

Pearson is eligible to play in tonight’s game against the Minnesota Wild, he took shifts alongside Colin Fraser with a rotating right wing during line rushes, which could be an indication that he won’t play. Pearson has recorded one goal and a minus-1 rating in six games with the Kings this season. He is third in points with Manchester having totalled 25 points (13G / 12A) in 30 games.

Tanner Pearson
Ryan O’Reilly might miss Thursday’s game against Ottawa because of a bizarre shoulder injury he suffered in celebrating a goal Tuesday night.

O’Reilly hurt his left shoulder while celebrating the Avs’ third goal, by Paul Stastny. Essentially, he got it jammed while extending his left arm into the group hug. The Avs say he is day-to-day, so we’ll see tomorrow if he plays or not against Ottawa

Ryan O'Reilly
Budaj starts on Wednesday.

Budaj surrendered three goals on 24 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Panthers on December 29. The loss moved him to 5-3-1 with a 2.05 GAA and .923 SV% on the season, so he has been solid when called upon, but has not recorded a win since December 4. Budaj will be in tough tonight vs. a Flyers team who have won six of their last seven.

Peter Budaj
With Roberto Luongo out, Lack gets the start for Vancouver.

Lack stopped 45 of 49 shots in a 4-3 OT loss to the Ducks on Sunday. It was a strong outing for Lack who had allowed seven goals in his previous two starts. Things will not get any easier for Lack tonight when he takes on a Penguins team who have won 16 of their last 19 games.

Eddie Lack
HIller goes for his 12th consecutive win tonight.

HIller allowed three goals on 20 shots in a win over the Canucks on Sunday. It was his 11th straight win and 20th of the season, he now holds a 2.42 GAA and .911 SV% in 29 appearances. He draws another tough matchup tonight vs. the Bruins, but it is hard not to start a guy who has won 11 straight.

Jonas Hiller
Elliott starts for the Blues.

Elliott allowed two goals on 24 shots on Saturday vs. Columbus to earn his sixth consecutive victory. With Jake Allen sent back to the AHL, Jaroslav Halak is healthy again, but the Blues will ride the hot hand tonight. Elliott stopped all 23 shots that he faced in a 6-0 win over the Oilers in their first meeting.

Brian Elliott
Greiss gets the start for the Coyotes.

Greiss stopped all 15 shots he faced in the final 37:38 after replacing Mike Smith in last Tuesday's loss to the Oilers. Smith has had his struggles this season, thus Greiss potentially getting the nod tonight vs. Calgary. Greiss allowed four goals on 18 shots in a 4-1 loss vs. the Flames on December 4.

Thomas Greiss
Emery gets the nod in goal for the Flyers.

Emery stopped 23 of 24 shots in a win over the Flames last Tuesday. It was his first win since November 21 and broke a streak of five consecutive losses. In his two previous starts vs the Devils he is 1-1-0 with a 1.02 GAA and .947 SV%.

Ray Emery
Mazanec starts for the Predators.

Mazanec allowed four goals on 29 shots in a loss to the Panthers on Saturday. He has now given up 11 goals in his last three starts and sits at 7-8-3 with a 2.82 GAA and .904 SV% this season. He draws a terrible matchup tonight vs. the Sharks.
