The Coyotes have recalled forward Tim Kennedy from the Portland (AHL).

Kennedy has played in six games with the Coyotes this season, totaling three assists and a plus-one rating. He has also registered two assists with six PIM in six games with the Pirates. He has recorded 13 goals 34 points with 56 PIM in 131 career NHL games.

Malkin is on the ice for Penguins morning skate.

Malkin was given a maintenance day on Tuesday, but was fully expected to suit up tonight. It appears that he will dress and skate with James Neal and Pascal Dupuis vs. Washington. Malkin has only three goals this season but his 17 assists is fourth in the NHL. He has 10 assists in his last eight games.

Evgeni Malkin
Green (lower-body) will not play tonight.

Capitals head coach said that Green is not 100% ready and that he does not want to put him at a disadvantage against a good Penguins team. Green will miss his third consecutive game, but he continues to skate on a daily basis, suggesting he is very close to returning. Monitor his status prior to Friday's meeting with the Canadiens.

Mike Green
Skinner (upper-body) is skating with Eric Staal and Jiri Tlusty at Hurricanes practice.

Skinner has missed the last 11 games but appears to be nearing a return. He has been skating with his team for nearly a week, so Thursday vs. the Red Wings seems like a possibility. Despite playing 11 less games, his nine points (3G / 6A) still ranks third on the team, just three points behind Staal. Monitor his status during Thursday's morning skate.

Jeff Skinner
Set to return from his suspension tomorrow, Kadri is skating with Phil Kessel and James van Riemsdyk.

The Maple Leafs have had a patchwork roster with Kadri, Tyler Bozak and Dave Bolland out, but Kadri's return will stabilize their top-6. The Leafs went 2-1-0 without Kadri. He has five goals and 14 points in 18 games and a spot on the first line should only help him produce even more.

Nazem Kadri
"It will be announced later this morning that Craig Anderson is starting in goal against the Wild" - Hmm, that sounds like it is being announced now - We'll go with Likely until it is officially announced.

Anderson gave up four goals on 22 shots in a Sunday's loss to the Blue Jackets. He is 1-2-0 with a 3.48 GAA and .884 SV% in November. The Senators are very inconsistent, so it is hard to tell which team is going to show up tonight vs. Minnesota.

Craig Anderson
Holtby off first at Washington morning skate; Likely starting.

Holtby was great stopping 46 of 47 shots in a 4-1 win over the Blues on Sunday. Holtby has won three straight and six of his last seven starts. He has another tough matchup tonight with Sidney Crosby and the Penguins coming to town.

Braden Holtby
Kuemper was originally scheduled to start tonight, but with Josh Harding getting pulled last night things might change. After the Wild play Wednesday night, they are off until Saturday. Because of the time without a game, they might decide to start Harding on Wednesday over Kuemper.

It says "Probable" but that is not the case, we will update when the Wild confirm Harding or Kuemper. This is simply an heads up.

Darcy Kuemper
The Sabres have recalled Brayden McNabb from Rochester (AHL).

McNabb, 22, was the 66th overall pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-4, 205 lbw. defenseman has two goals and 12 points in 15 games with Rochester this season. He skated in 25 games with the Sabres in 2011-12 registering one goal and seven assists.

The Sabres have recalled Luke Adam from Rochester (AHL).

Adam is currently tied for the AHL lead in goals with 13, and his five assists has him leading Rochester with 18 points in 15 games. He has played with the Sabres in three separate seasons, combining for 14 goals and 25 points in 75 games.

Luke Adam
Fleury is likely to get the start for the Penguins.

Fleury stopped 27 of 28 shots in a 3-1 win over the Ducks on Monday. The win moved him to 3-4-0 with a 2.30 GAA and .913 SV% in the month on November. Tonight he would take on Alex Ovechkin and the Capitals - he was 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .944 SV% vs. Washington last season.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Mikhail Grigorenko's conditioning assignment has been rejected by the NHL. According to article 13.8 of the NHL/NHLPA CBA - "The Commissioner may take whatever steps he deems necessary to investigate the circumstances under which a Player is Loaned on a Conditioning Loan. If the Commissioner has reason to believe or determines that the Club has used the Conditioning Loan to evade the Re-Entry Waivers, or otherwise Circumvent any provision of this Agreement, he may take such disciplinary action against the Club, as he deems appropriate. "

The Sabres attempted to send Grigorenko to Rochester (AHL) on a conditioning assignment because he has not appeared ready for the NHL at this point in his young career. Conditioning assignment's are typically used for players coming off of injuries - which Grigorenko is not. He is back with the Sabres today, no word on what Buffalo will do next.

Mikhail Grigorenko
DeKeyser will miss 1-2 weeks with a separated shoulder.

DeKeyser suffered some type of separation to his left shoulder less than four minutes into Tuesday’s 2-0 loss to Nashville when he was checked into the boards by Patric Hornqvist. "He’s going to go for tests (Wednesday),’’ GM Ken Holland said. “(Team doctors) looked at it and said he needs further assessment. He’s out at least 1-2 weeks, depending on what they see. It’s some type of separation, but we don’t know the severity.’’ DeKeyser had eight points (two goals, six assists) in his past 10 games before Tuesday, after picking up just one point in his first 11 games. Overall, he has nine points and a plus-5 rating, while averaging 21:46 in ice time.

Dan DeKeyser
Price starts for the Habs.

Price allowed one goal on 34 shots in a 1-0 loss to the Rangers on Saturday. It was his second straight loss and fifth in his last six starts. However he has posted a 2.17 GAA and a .930 SV% in that span, so it is not his fault the Habs are not winning. He draws a tough assignment vs. Josh Harding tonight.

Carey Price
Brodeur will start Wednesday vs. the Ducks.

Brodeur stopped 27 of 28 shots in a win over the Penguins on Saturday. He is on fire right now having won four in a row and six of his last seven with an outstanding 1.15 GAA and .952 SV%. He has a tough matchup on Tuesday vs. Anaheim.
