Comeau was back on the ice for Penguins practice on Tuesday, skating with Evgeni Malkin and Patric Hornqvist. The Penguins placed Mark Arcobello on waivers this morning, which suggests that Comeau will be activated from IR and return to the lineup on Wednesday.

Flyers GM Ron Hextall announced that Mason will be out for approximately 2-3 weeks with a lower-body injury. There is no word on the nature of the injury, but it will keep him out until late February or early March. The Flyers will now turn to Ray Emery.

In his first start vs. the Leafs, he allowed five goals on 31 shots in a 5-4 loss—however the Maple Leafs aren’t playing like the same team that they were in November.

Hutchinson made 20 saves on 22 shots in the Jets loss to the Blackhawks on Friday. He has lost each of his last four starts while posting a 3.96 GAA and .861 SV%. Some rookie speed bumps were expected at some point, but the Jets are in the middle of a playoff race and need him to turn things around tonight vs. the Wild.

All of the Mike Smith of old is back—he has gone 2-1-1 with a 1.45 GAA and .956 SV% in his last four starts. However, tonight's matchup on the tail-end of a back-to-back is terrifying from a fantasy perspective.

Vasilevskiy stopped 19 of 20 shots after replacing Ben Bishop in the Lightning’s loss to the Kings on Friday. Since being recalled he has stopped 52 of 56 shots (.929 SV%). He draws a very difficult matchup against the NHL’s top team—Vasilevskiy has gone 3-1-0 with a 1.76 GAA and .941 SV% on the road.

Rinne stopped 30 of 32 shots in the Predators 3-2 win over the Rangers on Saturday afternoon. It was a nice bounce-back win for Rinne, who struggled in his return from a sprained knee. Rinne enters play against a great Lightning team at 18-3-1 with 1.94 GAA and .927 SV% at home this season.

Timonen is targeting next Tuesday’s morning skate as his first full practice with the team and hopes to be back in the lineup by the end of the month.

Arcobello has register two assists in 10 games since going to Pittsburgh. If the 26-year-old is claimed off of waivers, it would be his fourth team in just over five months.

Ryan left the Senators morning skate with cramps and is considered a game-time decision. Cramps seem relatively minor, so one would think Ryan will be in the lineup tonight, but monitor his status during the Senators pre-game warmups to be sure.

Hall suffered the fracture in San Jose while he was trying to return from bone bruise in his ankle. He will be out until mid-to-late March. This is a terrible break for Hall owners.

Scrivens tweaked his hamstring on Monday and will be out for a while. With Scrivens out, the Oilers have recalled Richard Bachman, who will backup Viktor Fasth tonight vs. the Islanders.

Wilson took part in the morning skate, but coach Peter Laviolette would not say if Wilson would play tonight. Coach said he is still “day-to-day” but is considered a game-time decision.

Stollery did not get into the lineup during his recall. With Tyson Barrie back, Stollery became the Avs’ eighth defenseman. He returns to Lake Erie, where he has 12 points (4G / 8A) in 38 games.
