Lindholm is skating this morning with a no-contact jersey.

Lindholm played just 7:34 with a minus-1 rating yesterday. He went to the locker room briefly because of an arm laceration, but did return. He continued to practice on the first power-play unit this morning so he should be considered probable for tomorrow's game.

Islanders head coach Jack Capuano said Cal Clutterbuck (leg laceration) could be ready to play by Tuesday's game against the Coyotes. The Islanders will make a determination after Monday's practice.

Clutterbuck was originally expected to miss close to a month, but apparently he is only going to have missed the Isles first two games. Even if he does not play on Tuesday expect him to be back in the lineup Friday vs. Chicago.

The Maple Leafs have recalled Trevor Smith from the Toronto Marlies.

The 28-year-old has bounced around the AHL in his career but most recently had 23 goals and 31 assists (54 points) in 75 games with the Penguins AHL affiliate in Wilkes-Barre. He has three goals and three assists in 24 career NHL games.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled Jamie Devane from the Toronto Marlies.

Devane played 6:52 and recorded one shot in his NHL debut on Saturday. With Nikolai Kulemin and David Clarkson still out of the lineup, Devane is expected to play tomorrow vs. the Avalanche.

In response to the Coyle injury, one week after Jason Zucker was the final cut in training camp, the 2010 second-round pick was recalled from AHL Iowa before even playing his first game.

Zucker, the speedster left wing, scored four goals in 20 games last season and an overtime winner in the playoffs. Coach Mike Yeo says it's too early to determine the plans going forward and the Wild felt it was time to give Zucker a shot, but my guess:

Second-line center Charlie Coyle will miss 3-4 weeks with a sprained knee, the Wild announced tonight. The injury occurred with 8:54 left in the second period Saturday against Anaheim when Coyle was checked in the neutral zone by the Ducks' Andrew Cogliano.

This is a huge blow for Coyle and the 0-0-2 Wild. Coyle won the second-line center position early in an outstanding training camp, one in which he scored three goals in five exhibition games. "It's not an ideal situation, but I'm fortunate it's nothing worse than it is," Coyle said. "I'm going to keep a positive mindset and I'm looking forward to recovering and doing everything I can to be healthy again."

Pavelec starts for the Jets.

Pavelec improved to 2-0 with a 33 save win over the LA Kings. He allowed three goals on the night, but he was given five goals of support on a night where Jonathan Quick looked off. Teemu Selanne and the Ducks are in town, who are coming off of a 4-3 win vs. Minnesota last night.

Fasth leads the Ducks onto the ice for warmups, he is the Anaheim starter.

Fasth was shelled for six goals on 29 shots in the season opener. The Ducks were badly out played by the Avalanche and it led to a tough night for Fasth. He will face the 2-0 Jets who have scored 10 goals in their first two games.

Viktor Fasth
Schneider will start Tuesday, it will be his first start in Vancouver since being traded.

Schneider allowed three goals on 21 shots in a 3-0 shutout loss to the Penguins. Schneider will want to have a good start in his return to Vancouver. He will likely face Roberto Luongo which will be quite an intriguing matchup.

Cory Schneider
Martin Brodeur starts in Edmonton tomorrow.

Brodeur allowed three goals on 26 shots in a 4-3 loss to the Islanders on Friday. The start in Edmonton will mark his first in Edmonton since 2010, a building he is 5-2-0 in. The Oilers have struggled to keep the puck out of their own net, so Brodeur should make for a solid start.

Pavelec is the likely starter for the Jets tonight.
