Murray appeared in just two NHL games with the Maple Leafs last season, posting a 1-1-0 record and an .879 SV%. He spent the majority of the season with the AHL's Toronto Marlies, where he compiled a 10-5-4 record with a rather impressive .934 SV%. He'll have his hands full in his debut on Tuesday, as the Kraken enter action as substantial underdogs at +230 on the money line.

He is off to a tremendous start in the 2025-26 season, scoring seven points (1G / 6A) in five games.

Shayne Gostisbehere
Kopitar (foot) has been placed on IR.

Kopitar suffered a foot injury last Monday and was initially listed as week-to-week. Binnington will start vs. Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old Binnington will return to the crease on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Kings, looking to build on a 2.81 GAA and .882 SV% through four appearances (2-1-0). The Blues enter Tuesday's contest as -132 home favourites against a 1-3-2 Kings team.

Jordan Binnington
Kane (upper-body) did not make Detroit's road trip and will be re-evaluated on Friday.

Kane got tripped up in overtime on Friday and crashed hard into the end boards. Kane suffered an upper-body injury in the collision and did not play on Sunday. He will miss at least one more game, beginning with Wednesday's contest against the Buffalo Sabres. Kane's next opportunity to return will be on Friday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Michael Brandsegg-Nygard will likely play in Kane's usual second-line position on Wednesday.

Patrick Kane
Perry (knee) will make his Kings' debut in St. Louis on Tuesday.

Perry underwent knee surgery in September and has been sidelined for nearly six weeks. He’s been skating with the team over the past week and was a full participant in Monday’s practice, ready to make his season debut on Tuesday against the St. Louis Blues. The Kings are struggling early in the 2025-26 season, off to a 1-3-2 start, and hope Perry's veteran presence can give them a boost.

Corey Perry
Schuldt has been reassigned to Abbotsford (AHL).

Schuldt is an undrafted 30-year-old defenseman who spent most of his career playing in the AHL, limited to only nine NHL games. He scored 21 points (6G / 15A) in 64 games with the San Jose Baracuda (AHL) last season. The Canucks recalled Tom Willander from Abbotsford (AHL) in a corresponding move.
