Merrill is expected to draw back into Minnesota's lineup on Tuesday vs. Los Angeles.

Declan Chisholm will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday, allowing Merrill to return to the lineup after a two-game absence. The 32-year-old Merrill had been a lineup-regular for Minnesota this season before being scratched for two straight games, averaging 13:01 time-on-ice and scoring one point (0G / 1A) in nine games.

Jon Merrill
Ullmark is expected to start on Tuesday in Buffalo.

After a 3-0 shutout victory over the Seattle Kraken courtesy of Anton Forsberg in their previous game, the Senators will switch back to Ullmark between the pipes on Tuesday night against the team that drafted him, the Buffalo Sabres. Ullmark has showcased mixed results in his first season with the Senators, showcasing a respectable 2.62 GAA and .902 SV% through six games (2-3-0). The Senators enter Tuesday's contest as -116 road favorites against a Sabres club riding a three-game losing skid.

Linus Ullmark
Wolf is in the starter's crease at Calgary's morning skate on Tuesday.

The Flames strayed away from their even goalie rotation for the first time this season in their previous contest, starting Dan Vladar in consecutive games, but will likely return to Wolf between the pipes on Tuesday against the Montreal Canadiens. Wolf has allowed three or more goals in his last three outings (1-2-0) but has been serviceable between the pipes for the Flames, posting a 3.19 GAA and .907 SV% in five contests (3-2-0). The Flames enter the action on Tuesday as -142 home favorites against a Canadiens club riding a three-game losing skid.

Dustin Wolf
Binnington will start on Tuesday vs. Tampa Bay.

The Blues, coming off an impressive 4-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs when Binnington saved 35 of 37 shots (.946 SV%), will roll with Binnington between the pipes for the sixth time in the last seven games. Despite an unspectacular 3-5-0 record, Binnington has been serviceable between the pipes for the Blues, posting a 2.87 GAA and .903 SV%. The Blues enter Tuesday's contest as +143 home underdogs against a Tampa Bay Lightning club that could be without Brayden Point (lower body).

Jordan Binnington
Nedeljkovic will start on Tuesday in New York.

The Penguins, winners of two straight, will roll with Nedeljkovic between the pipes for a third consecutive game on Tuesday when they visit the New York Islanders. Despite an unspectacular 2.75 GAA and .903 SV% through five games (2-2-1), Nedeljkovic has been tremendous in his last two outings (2-0-0), saving a combined 47 of 49 shots (.959 SV%). The Penguins enter the action on Tuesday as +112 road underdogs against an Islanders club with only 28 goals through 12 games this season, the second-fewest in the NHL.

Alex Nedeljkovic
Johnson will make his Bruins' debut on Tuesday in Toronto.

After a PTO with the Providence Bruins (AHL), the Boston Bruins signed 12-year NHL veteran Tyler Johnson to a one-year, $775,000 contract yesterday. The 33-year-old Johnson spent the last three seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, tallying 70 combined points (32G / 38A) and a -64 plus/minus across 149 games. His best season was in 2014-15 with the Tampa Bay Lightning when he scored 72 points (29G / 43A) in 77 games.

Tyler Johnson
Poehling (personal) did not travel with the team and is out on Tuesday in Carolina.

Nicolas Deslauriers will draw into the Flyers lineup on Tuesday, replacing Poehling, who is away from the team for personal reasons. The 25-year-old Poehling has played all 12 games this season, tallying five points (0G / 5A), while averaging 13:31 time-on-ice.

Ryan Poehling
Johnson will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday in Carolina.

Egor Zamula will draw into the Flyers' lineup on Tuesday, sending Johnson to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 36-year-old Johnson has been a regular most of the season for the Flyers, playing 10 games, but is averaging only 12:55 time-on-ice, the lowest total in his 17-year career.

Erik Johnson
Kolosov will start on Tuesday in Carolina.

With Samuel Ersson (lower-body) sidelined, the Flyers will turn to Kolosov between the pipes on Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes. Despite an 0-2-2 record to start his NHL career, Kolosov was serviceable in his most recent outing, replacing Ersson midway through the first period and continuing to save 20 of 22 shots (.909 SV%) in an eventual 3-0 loss to the Boston Bruins. That said, the Flyers have allowed 44 goals this season, fifth most in the league, and enter Tuesday's contest against the Hurricanes as significant +258 road underdogs.

Aleksei Kolosov
Hellebuyck is in the starter's net at Winnipeg's morning skate.

Despite being one of the league's top netminders to start the 2024-25 season, Hellebuyck has faced some adversity lately, allowing four or more goals in two of his last three but has salvaged a 2-1-0 record. That said, those two blips have been minor in an otherwise Vezina-worthy season, as Hellebuyck boasts a stellar 2.33 GAA and .917 SV% through nine games (8-1-0). The Jets enter Tuesday's contest as -197 home favorites against the Utah Hockey Club, losers of five of their last six (1-3-2).

Connor Hellebuyck
Stolarz will start on Tuesday vs. Boston.

After serving as the backup to Joseph Woll for two straight games, Stolarz will start his second consecutive contest on Tuesday when the Maple Leafs host the Boston Bruins. Stolarz has allowed four goals in two of his last three games (1-1-1) but was solid in his most recent outing, saving 31 of 33 shots (.939 SV%) in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Minnesota Wild. The 30-year-old Stolarz is sporting an impressive 2.38 GAA and .919 SV% through eight games this season (4-2-2). The Maple Leafs, without Auston Matthews (upper body), enter the action on Monday as -126 home favorites against a Bruins club with a -8 goal differential through 13 games (6-6-1).

Anthony Stolarz
Kochetkov will start on Tuesday vs. Philadelphia.

The Hurricanes, riding a six-game winning streak, will roll with Kochetkov between the pipes for the fourth straight game. Kochetkov has been tremendous lately, allowing three or fewer goals in his last four outings (4-0-0), posting a respectable .905 SV%. The 25-year-old Kochetkov has a 2.51 GAA and .893 SV% in six outings this season (5-1-1) and will continue to see most of the action in the crease for the Hurricanes as long as Frederik Andersen (lower-body) is sidelined. The Hurricanes enter Tuesday's contest as sizeable -298 home favorites against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Pyotr Kochetkov
Goncalves has been recalled from Syracuse (AHL).

With Brayden Point potentially sidelined due to a lower-body injury, Tampa Bay has recalled Goncalves from the Syracuse Crunch (AHL). The 23-year-old Goncalves made his NHL debut last season, playing two games with Tampa Bay, but spent most of the campaign in the AHL, scoring 58 points (13G / 45A) in 69 games with Syracuse.

Gage Goncalves
Montembeault will start on Tuesday vs. Calgary.

The Canadiens will turn to Montembeault between the pipes for a second consecutive contest as they aim to snap a three-game losing skid (0-3-0). After a superb start to the 2024-25 season, saving 72 of 73 shots (.986 SV%) in his first two games (2-0-0), Montembeault has struggled to tread water in his six since (1-5-0), allowing three or more goals four times, posting a .843 SV%. The Canadiens enter the action on Tuesday as +114 home underdogs against a Calgary Flames club that has lost five of their last six (1-5-0).

Sam Montembeault
Roy (lower-body) returned to practice in full on Tuesday and has a chance to return on Wednesday vs. Nashville.

Roy exited Washington's season opener after playing only 8:39 time-on-ice and has not played since. The 29-year-old Roy signed a six-year contract with the Capitals in the offseason after spending the first six seasons of his career with the Los Angeles Kings. Roy's elite defensive skills and shot-blocking prowess will surely aid a Capitals club that already ranks seventh-best in the league defensively, allowing 33 goals through 11 games.

Matt Roy
Winterton has been recalled from Coachella Valley (AHL).

Winterton was the third-round pick, 67th overall, of the Seattle Kraken in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. The 21-year-old had a nine-game stint with Seattle last season, scoring zero points. He has five points (3G / 2A) in seven games with the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL) this season.

Ryan Winterton
Holmberg is expected to draw back into Toronto's lineup on Tuesday vs. Boston.

Due to Auston Matthews' injury (upper body), Holmberg will slot into the vacant Maple Leafs' roster spot on Tuesday against the Boston Bruins. The 25-year-old Holmberg has played 11 games this season, recording one point (0G / 1A) and a -5 plus/minus while averaging 12:40 time-on-ice.
