Nikitin missed one game with a neck injury but he will return to the lineup tonight when Columbus faces Vancouver. The Blue Jackets have been banged up all season so it is good news that Nikitin was able to make a quick recovery and didn't miss an extended period of time.
Dubinsky won't be in the lineup tonight but he is close to a return and could be back this weekend. Dubinsky has one goal and seven assists in 15 games this season.
Khudobin does not start often but when he does he takes advantage of the opportunity. He is 3-1-0 with a 2.52 GAA and .906 SV% in his four starts this season. He has a decent matchup vs. the Maple Leafs who are playing their third game in four days.
The Blues’ save percentage, No. 1 in the NHL last season at .929, has fallen to No. 30 (.870) this year. With the recent goalie struggles the Blues have turned to rookie Jake Allen to get them back on track. Allen started four games while Halak was hurt and Elliott was struggling going 3-1-0 with a 2.62 GAA and .895 SV%. He has a solid matchup vs. the Coyotes tonight.
The Rangers have said “the injury has improved significantly and both doctors are optimistic that Marc will make a full recovery. Staal will be sidelined indefinitely.”
Nabokov has won two straight and four of his last six starts while posting a 2.61 GAA and .917 SV%. He has a tough matchup vs. the Rangers tonight, but a win would bring the Islanders to a tie with the Rangers for the 8th spot in the Eastern Conference.
Peters was great in his first start of the season stopping 37 of the 40 shots (.925 SV%) that he faced. He has a tough matchup vs. a solid Habs team, however Carey Price has allowed 12 goals in his last two starts, so it is a winnable game for Peters.
Bobrovsky has had two great games in a row so there is no surprise that he will be back between the pipes tonight. He relieved Steve Mason in the Blue Jackets last game after he allowed three goals on eight shots. Bobrovsky came in and stopped all 21 shots that he faced and lead Columbus back to a 4-3 shootout win.
Hossa was a late scratch for tonight's game vs. Colorado but he isn't expected to miss a lot of time. Consider Hossa day-to-day for the time-being.
Sharp left today's game vs. Colorado and did not return. Coach Q said the injury will not end his season but it sounds like Sharp will certainly miss some time. It is unknown what the injury is at this time. More information on the severity of the injury will be released in the next couple of days.

Hackett is 19-19-3 with a 2.56 GAA and .910 SV% with the Houston Aeros this season.

Miikka Kiprusoff was activated off of IR today and will start tonight so Taylor's services are no longer needed in Calgary. Taylor was 1-1-0 with a 3.00 GAA and .912 SV% in his brief stint in the NHL.
It looks like LaBarbera will give Mike Smith the night off. LaBarbera is 1-2-0 with a 2.58 GAA and .912 SV% this season. He has a tough matchup against a strong offense in Anaheim, however the Coyotes have won the first two games of this 3-game regular season series against the Ducks.
Emery is 9-0-0 with a 2.02 GAA and .926 SV% this season and will look to continue his undefeated streak against a weak Avalanche team tonight.
This is the third time in three games that the Ducks will face the Coyotes and they have lost both of them in shootouts. Hiller gave up four goals on 40 shots on Monday. He will be between the pipes again tonight for Ducks as they try to take a win in this mini-series vs. Phoenix.
Kiprusoff was practicing in the Visitor's end at practice which would usually indicate he is the backup, but then he was the first to leave the ice which would tell us he is starting. So it looks like Kipper will return to the Flames crease tonight after being out a month. The Flames backup goalies played well during Kiprusoff's absence and have the Flames just four points out of a playoff spot.
Holtby has won 7 of his 10 consecutive starts while posting a 2.40 GAA and .926 SV%. He will make his 11th straight start tomorrow with a great matchup vs. the Panthers.
