Borowiecki has missed the last three games with an undisclosed. There is no word on what is ailing Borowiecki, but his return to the ice this morning is a good sign that he could be back tomorrow vs. the Wild.
Alex Killorn was not on the ice again on Wednesday, so he seems doubtful for Thursday, which means Paquette will be reinserted into the lineup. He skated on the fourth line with Vladislav Namestnikov and Jonathan Drouin this morning.
Foligno is reportedly “banged up” but no word has been released as to what ailing him. He will sit again tonight, which means Johan Larsson will remain in the lineup vs. the Canadiens.
Klein left the ice this morning with the rest of the main group, while Dylan McIlrath stayed on for extra work, which means that Klein should be back on the blue line tonight vs. the Red Wings.

Lundqvist stopped all 25 shots that he faced in the Rangers 1-0 shootout loss to the Jets. He is still credited with the shutout, but couldn’t get the job done in the shootout to earn the W. After sitting on Monday, King Henrik will be between the pipes tonight vs. Detroit. The Wings are struggling offensively so start Lundqvist… As if you weren’t already.
Klein is a full-participant in the Rangers’ game day skate after missing Monday’s game with a foot contusion. We will get confirmation from Alain Vigneault once the skate wraps up.
Zuccarello missed Monday’s game, but was back on the ice for practice on Tuesday and is skating again today, which suggests he will be in the lineup tonight vs. Detroit. After a breakout 2013-14, he has just four points (1G / 3A) in nine games this season.
Allen stopped all 26 shots that he faced in the Blues 1-0 win over the Devils last night. He was coming off of a 24-save shutout vs. the Ducks on October 30th. He joins Ernie Wakely as the only other Blues rookie to post consecutive shutouts, Wakely did it way back in 1970. The way Allen is playing, he is going to force coach Hitchcock to give him starts. He is only owned in 41 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Sharp suffered what appeared to be a right leg injury in Tuesday’s win over the Blackhawks. Sharp was crunched in the corner by Alexei Emelin and needed help getting off of the ice. Head coach Joel Quenneville said Sharp could be out “a bit, we will know more in the next day or so.” His injury should allow Brandon Saad to move back up in the Hawks lineup.
Gustavsson allowed three goals on 16 shots in the Red Wings 4-2 loss to the Flyers on October 25th. Detroit badly outplayed Philly, but The Monster could not close the door. He is 1-1-0 with a 1.45 GAA, .935 SV% and one shutout in two starts. He makes for an OK spot-start tonight, but he probably won't get too much goal support, Detroit is struggling to find twine.
Parise was injured in the third period, but head coach Mike Yeo would not reveal the seriousness of the injury, nor would he indicate whether Parise would travel with the team to Ottawa for the start of their road trip. Expect an update to come this afternoon.
Halak allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Islanders loss to the Sharks last Saturday. He has lost four in a row while giving up a total of 14 goals on 121 shots (.884 SV%). He will try to snap his losing skid tonight, but it won’t be easy as they take on the Ducks in Anaheim.
Sharp had his leg pinned between the boards and Canadiens' defenseman Alexei Emelin. Sharp stayed down for a few moments before he was helped off of the ice by trainers. He was not able to put any weight on a leg, which is not a good sign for the Hawks' star winger.
Tlusty was injured in the third period on a hit from Blue Jackets defenseman Jack Johnson. He had no points in 16:08 TOI. The Hurricanes have battled injuries in the early part of the season, so they are hoping that the Tlusty's injury is not serious.
Reimer stopped 45 of 47 shots in the Maple Leafs 3-2 win over the Blackhawks on Saturday. It was his first win since October 14th and he now sits at 3-1-0 with a 2.47 GAA and .929 SV% this season. He draws a good matchup vs. a struggling Arizona squad.
Gonchar is set to make his season debut after missing the start of the season with a fracture ankle he suffered in the preseason. Gonchar will open the season on the Stars' third pair with Jamie Oleksiak.
Nichushkin was listed as a game-time decision but is on the ice, taking line rushes with Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin. He missed the last nine games, but should be able to produce right away, as long as he is playing on that top line.
Lehtonen allowed four goals on 30 shots in the Stars loss to Minnesota on Saturday. He has lost each of his last three starts while posting a 3.27 GAA and .877 SV%. With no solid choice behind him, the Stars will roll Lehtonen out there again tonight in a difficult matchup vs. the Kings.
Quick allowed three goals on 32 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Hurricanes on Sunday. After a sizzling five-game winning streak, Quick has dropped his last three starts while posting a 3.31 GAA and .908 SV%. He will try to record his first road win of the season tonight, he is 0-2-2 away from Staples Center so far.
