Emery will start tomorrow for the Blackhawks.

The Blackhawks who still haven't lost in regulation this season will turn to Ray Emery to keep their hot-streak going. Emery has started in 3 games this season posting a 3-0-0 record with 2.59 GAA and .920 SV%. He has a decent match-up against an up-and-down Sharks team.

Ray Emery
Howard confirmed he is starting tomorrow, as expected.

Howard had a great performance against the Kings on Sunday but looked shaky last night vs. St. Louis. The road doesn't get any easier for him as he will take on one of the NHL's hottest teams, the Anaheim Ducks. Howard has been a solid #1 fantasy option this season and should continue to play well.

Leafs have put Matt Frattin on IR. Carlyle made it sound like they're hoping he's back by end of month, so expect much longer than a week.

More bad news for the Maple Leafs as his original timetable of a one week absence looks like it was on the low-side. Monitor Frattin's status going forward, but it looks like he is going to miss a couple of weeks.

Matt Frattin
Michalek "twisted his knee" and had a little swelling. Team is hoping he will only miss a game or two #nhl #sens

On a night where the Senators lose Erik Karlsson for the season they also lose Michalek to a less serious injury. Doesn't seem like Michalek will be out long-term, but monitor his status going forward.

Milan Michalek
Hedberg will start Saturday for the Devils.

Hedberg has been excellent as Martin Brodeur's backup this season. He is 2-0-1 with an outstanding 0.65 GAA and .973 SV% with 1 shutout. He has a good match-up as well as the Devils take on the Islanders on Saturday. Hedberg is a good spot start.

Brodeur will start tomorrow for the Devils.

Brodeur is 6-2-2 with a 2.36 GAA and .908 SV% this season and looks like he can still play at 40. I don't know what to make of his match-up vs. the Flyers because who knows which Flyers team will show up. However the way Brodeur is playing I don't think you can bench him.

#NJD Devils have sent C Andrei Loktionov back to Albany (AHL), so there is your corresponding roster move for Ponikarovsky trade.

Loktionov wanted to be traded from Los Angeles so he could get a chance to play in the NHL but was sent down as fast as he was called up.

Scrivens will start tonight for the Maple Leafs.

With James Reimer going down with a knee injury the starters job is all Scrivens'. Toronto comes in to tonight's game having won 4 straight and their last loss came against Carolina, their opponent tonight. Scrivens is 2-2-0 with a 2.56 GAA and .913 SV% this season and will likely see all the starts for the Leafs in the near future.

Ben Scrivens
Garon will start tonight for the Lightning.

Garon will get the nod in goal tonight for the Lightning because Anders Lindback is sick. Garon is 1-2-0 with a 2.84 GAA and .918 SV% this season. He has a pretty favorable matchup tonight vs. the Capitals. There are a lot of backup goalies making starts tonight so there are plenty of options for spot starts. Garon just might be your best option.

Nabokov will be in net tonight vs. the Rangers. #Isles.

Nabokov and the Islanders are on a 5 game losing streak right now. And will be in tough tonight against the Rangers. However Martin Biron is expected to get the start which makes the task of beating the Rangers a little easier. Use your judgement.

Evgeni Nabokov
Looks like Dan Ellis will be making the start tonight for the #Canes versus Toronto.

With Cam Ward starting several games in a row including a back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday there is no real surprise that the Hurricanes will turn to Ellis tonight. Ellis is 2-1-0 with a 1.99 GAA and a .939 SV% so he has been good this season when called upon. He could make for a decent spot start against the Maple Leafs, mind you Toronto has won 4 consecutive and their last loss came vs. Carolina.

Every season there are several players who have breakout years, establishing themselves as some of the best up-and-coming stars in the league.
