Schneider has turned in back to back good performances both resulting in wins. He will get his third straight start solidifying his status as the Canucks #1 goalie. Vancouver runs into a hot Sharks team tonight so Schneider could be in for a long night.
Jared Spurgeon (foot) on IR. Means at very minimum, Spurgeon can't play vs. #cbj on Tuesday
Spurgeon was expected to take a big step forward this year as he is paired with Ryan Suter, but so far 1 assist and a -3 in three games isn't the start fantasy owners were looking for. Spurgeon shouldn't be out too long though so don't give up on the young defenceman.

This is great news for Red Wings fans as they get one of their regulars back on the blueline. Ericsson will bring some experience back to the Red Wings blueline, and should log a lot of minutes. However he isn't a great fantasy option as he only registered 1 goal in 69 games last season.
